Be careful here, know what you want, and hope you don’t have to return it. Tried hard to upsell when I had the product I wanted. After they served 2 people in-front of me while I was waiting to be taken care of. Also watched them screw over a student who wanted to return a PlayStation 5, but told him no because it was opened software. Not sure who they hired here as a manager but a ps5 is hardware. Not only that the staff was very rude.

Excellent service! Whenever I have a problem with my computer I go here first because the service is just really great. My control keys weren't working so I went there today. Rather than immediately checking my laptop the technician first looked to see if he could remedy the problem over the counter. Lucky for me he was able to! I not only left there with everything in order but tips on how to help my laptop function better in future.

Had an 18 year old whiz kid accompany me to Canada Computers on Princess to help me build a decent rig. I myself had been there many times, but shopped the deals Black Friday and Boxing Day and they (CC) did offer some decent deals.

Spent about $4,000 for a very decent rig, even with shopping the deals. The staff were very helpful as I filled my cart. As well they have an excellent tech shop. However the lower rating comes from the fact that after I spend my money, I took my rig home, set it up. Everything worked perfectly except for a single fan within the housing of the new tower I bought.

Instead of dismantling my rig, I brought in the fan and they pretty much told me "too bad so sad", so I had half a mind to return the entire rig over a $20 fan. However I am not that petty. My 18 year old buddy luckily knew soldering, and we fixed it ourselves.

So in short. Tech shop is good for what you need fixed. The store proper are adequate, offer decent deals, and will take your money. Don't expect anything more than that.

Excellent choice for your electronic needs & information on products. I wanted to get a new gaming computer & monitor but didn’t know anything about computers, graphic cards. GPU, CPU … all Greek to me being a dinosaur I called & spoke with Rob & Aaron who were very helpful in advising me on what I needed. I told them my budget & they gave me their experienced advice. I dealt with Dawson for my purchase and was very happy with his patience and knowledge. Dawson actually provided me with a UTube link to help me with setting up my computer. I feel he went above & beyond what was required to sell me the products. I am very grateful for everyone’s assistance. I hooked everything up & couldn’t be happier with the speed & visual graphics. I would definitely purchase any other products I need from Canada Computers in the future. Their pricing seems very fair.

Great local computer store very knowledgeable and lots of product to choose from. If they don't have it they can order it in.

Have to say thanks to the tech department in Kingston today. They help me out with some really old hard drives (1999 & 2005). Highly recommended for anyone who needs help with their computer's. Thanks guys

I've bought from this Canada Computers branch a handful of times. They have great service and are very respectful and knowledgable. Sometimes I even asked for advice from them and they offered it without a charge.

In my last visit, I needed to change a clients' HDD, and realized that I left my tools somewhere far. They were kind enough to lend me a screwdriver, a table and a chair, to make the quick replacement at their store.

Canada computers has become a staple in my life, since I built my computer back in 2008, and still going on strong. I couldn't be ANY happier that Canada computers is now very, very close to home, this location never seems to fail me with all of my computer needs, anything and everything from just picking up a simple cord, to picking out something new for my home setup, this store always aims to please.the staff are super friendly, this location always has stock

Staff was helpful, and made pertinent suggestions. They do not allow book bags, but will let you shop from the front counter if you prefer not to surrender your bags.

Love how much selection they have for a relatively small city location. Starting to see some of me lesser known brands popping up which is always a huge plus. Staff are always friendly and helpful. It's my go to place when I need new parts or have a little extra spending money.

Honestly pretty upset.bought a 2080ti on low graphics i run 130-140 fps.they told me everything is running fine.its clearly not they said i cannot get another one due to the coronavirus return policy.: D

Kingston Canada Computer & Electronics doesn't have much to offer, not like in Toronto. I know Kingston is small city, but when they advertise on their add, they should have in their inventory at least 4 or more, but by the time you went there, either out of stock or they or they asked you to go online to order. Also I know that sometimes it happened in Toronto too, that's why I give them a two star rating. My theory is that, search online for the one that you wants, and shop all where's they available, and then shop online, and pay their shipping costs instead of going there, and put out their stories about they just sold the last one or their BS. That's my opinion, you don't need to follow. For my opinion is "No Worries, Relax, & be Happy".

The guys at Canada computers are the best! I bought an out-of-the box system from them. For reasons unknown it turned out to be a bit of a lemon. The original suggestion from the team at Canada Computers was to bring it in for diagnostics and repair, but after explaining to them that I use it for work (despite being a gaming machine on paper) they decided an exchange would work. The service guys took a look at the old one quickly and replaced it. They were super friendly and great to deal with.
Everything works amazing now. I will forever be a customer!

I've shopped at other Canada Computer stores and online in the past and have been very happy.

This was my first time at the Kingston store and I had many detailed questions to find the best personal laptop and accessories that day within my budget given a few specific requirements I had.

Staff and service. The staff I interacted with were absolutely a pleasure to deal with, very knowledgable on the products they carried and just computer specs in general. Their professionalism was equally impressive. A couple weeks after purchase, I was back for a quick service call and once again, absolutely top notch after sale service.

Product. As for the new laptop and couple accessories after two weeks use, excellent as well. The laptop and accessories I choose, based on their recommendations, is exceeding my expectations.

Price. I walked out well under budget and given product performance, I have to say value for the dollar is 5 stars without question.

Overall, I highly recommend this store and I will be going here for my next business laptop as well, likely within the year.

These guys are great. If your PC fix or diagnostic is fast on the spot they will do it for free. Great service and reasonable prices for work requiring you leave it with them. Every staff member I've ever interacted with has been polite and very knowledgeable. Excellent service all around.

Love this place. I always check out Canada Computers when there is one around. The place to go for knowledgeable staff and high end computer parts. The employees seem to really enjoy what they are doing. Once you have experienced this hidden gem, you will never want to go back to those other stores.

Very friendly staff and a surprisingly good selection of hardware! I honestly didn't think I'd buy any more PC equipment from a store, but these guys were ready to go for Ryzen 2 and I got everything else I needed too.

While I appreciate Canada computers having a rewards program when competition like Best Buy is known for ending theirs, it would be nice if I got my points every time I made a purchase instead of the cashiers being in a rush and not getting my information. It would also be great if your service department answered emails (not specific to this store)
somehow I had more than one account created for me, and I emailed over a month ago to have my accounts consolidated into one. Pretty strange to have to call a computer store because they won't answer email!

The staff are very helpful and they always have what I’m looking for. I went in for a nice mouse, and they had the Logitech MX Master 2S, which is exactly what I had hoped to get! They also had a large variety of mousepads. I was also looking for a way to get Ethernet to my room and a staff member pointed me to an Ethernet over Power device, which I didn’t even know about. I’ll probably still just get a long Ethernet cord, but the suggestion was nice.

Great prices. Too bad about the customer service. They are OK till there is a problem then you might as well be dealing with drug dealers. Unfortunately not many choices here. Update: I have had to return a couple of things in the last couple of months to Canada Computers and found it to be absolutely painless which was an utter shock to me but clearly they return policies have changed and I felt it only right to update my review to reflect this

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Surprisingly have a lot more than you would expect from your average computer store. Prices are very fair and selection is amazing. Whether it is computer components, home theatre or even studio equipment you should check them out first.

Smaller store compaired to some but a great set of staff and they are super helpful. I drove over an hour to pick up my order from them.

Brought a laptop for service at first they said it would take couple of weeks and it took them more than 4 weeks, and price was different thatn what we talked about, Shady business and fraudulent.

The associates at Canada Computers are extremely intelligent, demonstrate exceptional knowledge of tech, and seem to have an extraordinary amount of soft skills. In particular, James and Shane at the repair centre go the extra length to make you feel comfortable and relaxed about whatever you're stressing out about (in my case, my laptop). Seriously, above and beyond service.
