I'm still waiting for them to call me with the replacement back screen cover for my laptop (since May). A screen cover they dented when I sent my laptop in for repair the same month (faulty motherboard). They fixed one problem and made another. Bought it October 2022 and took care of it, so I should not have a new item with a dent that wasn't there before I gave it on fire repair.

Canada’s Computer told us our motherboard was defective and they packed it up, got us a new motherboard but they forgot to take out the ssd so once we return motherboard and we weren’t aware that they left the ssd inside the defective motherboard. So basically they forgot to takeout our ssd. So basically they’re blaming us for their mistake

I have a poor shopping experience in this store. I am standing in front of the counter waiting for staff to get a pack of USB flash sticks for me behind the counter. There is one person close to me serving another customer, five customer service standing at the other end of the store talking and laughing. There is another staff close to me sitting and surfing on the phone. I asked the sitting staff to pick up the item, but that staff refused to help and asked me to walk to the store's back to ask for another person. The store is not busy and has only 2 or 3 customers inside the store at that time. It is not like every staff is busy serving another customer.

Great location. Knowledgeable staff willing to help with all questions asked. Purchased a Custom Pc along with peripherals to go along with it. I cant remember the workers name however I thank you for the help in setting everything up for me. Will definitely be returning for all my pc needs and bring referrals for the great service I received.

Bit disappointed as I made a special trip to the store only to find out the item listed online was phantom stock.

The sales representative I dealt with was helpful as he did tell me flaws of the product that I was aware of. Despite the flaws I still wanted it.

I asked for a flash card to save my trip. He pointed out the two different models that were going for the exact same price and he was able to give me the faster one.

It's was nice to see a sales rep thinking of the interest of the customer first before theirs. For that I don't mind shopping there in the future.

I always enjoy shopping here for my computer needs. The staff tend to understand well your needs if you describe what you are looking for and every product I bought was also used by a member of the staff there. The only thing is sometimes you need to wander around a little till you find someone to assist you. As a avid computer user you can tell most of the staff are the same and are a great help for people newer to the electronics side of things.

Ahh where to begin,
This is the worst Canada Computer location, the staff is rude full of attitude and have bare minimum knowledge about products,

My issue began when I purchased Cooler Master sfx 850 watt power supply,
I realized the fan acting up and getting too loud even on basic tasks such as browsing sites or watching a video on the power supply, upon researching I found out the model itself is defective, and cooler master already revised the unit.
So 1 week after my purchase I go in to return/exchange it.
And there is where the moronic behavior began, the
First they tell me they will not refund and will take 2-3 days to test it, I can't understand why they can't just plug it into a system to test, it takes 5 mins to do
Second they call me 2 days later stating they found nothing wrong with it
Now when I go in to the store the guy hooks it up to a system starts a firestrike benchmarks and goes there is nothing unusual about the noise, completely missing the point that at lower loads the PSU fan keeps ramping to 100% and down
And they don't even do that in front of me keeps recording a video on his phone and keeps showing me the same thing again and again

Save yourself the trouble and ignore this location at all costs better ignore Canada Computer itself

DAN is absolutely the MAN! To give you just a little background, I had a computer breakdown on me and everywhere I went for help tried to RIP ME OFF, take advantage of my lack of computer knowledge, and give me the RUN AROUND, including that scum store STAPLES (NEVER go to them for anything!). That was until I came to this Canada Computers location and met DAN. He was honest, truthful, and extremely helpful. It was because of him that I got the perfect new computer and ALL my problems solved very quickly. Some of the employees there don't seem to know who DAN is. Well it's time to REMEMBER who DAN is because he is definitely the top employee and most professional and friendly that I have ever seen! DAN needs to be recognized and valued because he is genuine good guy and a true professional. If anyone deserves to be noticed and should be at the TOP of the food chain and command at this place it's DAN. Give this man a raise! Thanks

Bought a brand new ps4 controller from the Kennedy Road Location. I garbaged my receipt since I didn’t think it would’ve given any issues. One month later and the controller is stuck drifting and malfunctioning etc.

Picked up my latest notebook PC here and was so tired of looking. Walked into one well known place. Over 100 laptops and not one sales staff could answer my questions. So off to Canada Computers. Questions answered in minutes. Wanted the next best thing to a gamers laptop. Speed without the heat they produce and came home with my expectations answered. Thanks guys

Worst purchase experience ever, paid $3200 and got a PC which sometimes can not turn on. Brought it back twice to check. What they do for check is play a video from YouTube for a week. After that they told u everything is fine with your computer, but when I brought it home it could not turn on still.

I've been creating my first PC build over the pandemic and have been enjoying doing so. Given that were in a pandemic and lockdown state there's been shortages on all PC items since it's WFH and people are gaming more. This means it's been a bit more difficult to get advice or recommendations on ideas I've had since everyone at Canada computers is so busy.

Today, Nigel (who was working his first day at this location) took time out of his day to go over some thoughts about my build and gave me some recommendations. I couldn't be happier with the service, thank you so much!

Do not buy anything from this guy the store owner is the biggest crook ive ever met. He charged me 350 for a Android box with fake Promises of lasting up to one year the Box gave out after 2 months and I went back and he created more problems for me and wanted more money you can get most of his products at Walmart or Canadian Tire for the same price or cheaper on top of it all he made me and my girlfriend get into a big fight he also insisted that I go on to the website and give him a five star rating before I even purchased anything don't let this guy's fake smile fool you he's a piece of s*** a liar and a scammer

I've been doing business with Canada Computers for years now, and I must say the experience with the Scarborough Location has been the absolute worst I've had.

In November I started calling almost once or twice a day to get no answers whatsoever from the staff in the store. I finally got ahold of someone through their email in January because I wanted to order an ASUS ROG Strix 3080. I knew there was a backlog and that I would be expecting to wait quite some time. The store said to me that they made an order and that in order to complete it, I would have to come in at my convenience to put a full payment. I hadn't heard anything from the store for almost a month, so I decided to reach back out via email today and I find out that if I don't go in to pay the full amount of the card within the next week that I would lose my order. There was no initial time frame specified. The store never once mentioned that I must come in and pay at a certain time. The store didn't make an effort to reach back out to me and if I didn't request an update today. I would never have known of this.

This store just doesn't care about it's clients and knows that the demand for video cards is high so they are careless with orders and know that inventory will always be cleared out. I'm very displeased with the service. Especially after I've had some great interactions with the Markham, Whitby and Centerpoint locations. This is by far the worst and it sickens me to know that they've invested in a larger building. The first thing needed is a wipeout of the staff and to bring in some decent human beings.

Anyways, go there if you absolutely HAVE to. These are the worst type of Retail Sales People in a world where they can be extinct to the internet and Web Shopping.

The store doesn't look like much on the outside (looks kind of sketchy at night), maybe they are undergoing renovations? There was also a big pot hole in the middle of the parking lot with a shopping cart in it, like that doesn't seem safe at all.

When i went there were a lot of cars in the parking lot but only 3 or so customers in front of me. The wait took about 10 minutes. I noticed there were at least 7 staff members working inside the store, seems a bit excessive during this time. Anyways, the person opening the door and the other person handling the payment were friendly and got my item to me relatively quickly.

This location never picks up the phone. Ever. I've made a multitude of large purchases this year alone, and have been left in the dark the entire time.

Purchased a video card that came with a gift game over a month ago. The card was over $1k. Card arrived this week, they did not provide the gift game as it's no longer offered by Nvidia. This has nothing to do with the customer, as I purchased the product at the time this was offered. I was advised to contact customer service.

Customer service - won't pick up the phone, won't respond to emails.

This company is a complete joke. The last straw has been pulled, I will not spend a dollar more here. Do yourself a favour and keep clear for your own mental sanity.

Edit: I received the gift game for my purchase after opening the third ticket with customer service.

We are in a lockdown. Only curbside transactions are available. You can order online or call them on the phone. I bought some network cables. They were very good quality and reasonably priced.
I will definitely deal with them again. Very polite security guard trying his best to do his job. Sales people were very friendly and knowledgeable. December 21,2020.

Always have a good experience with this place.

Update: been trying to call for 3 days and no one answers the phone, getting annoying.

Update 2: day 6 of trying to get someone to answer a phone. I have been in this place many times. The employees are not that busy and are always chatting with each other. Answer the phone! We are in a pandemic. I don't want to go into the store to get a simple question answered. Down to 1 star.

Update 3: ok, they don't answer the phone, and when i was there i commented on it, i can hear the phone ringing away.he said they are very busy, i looked around in wonder at the 5 employees just standing around.but fine, so they don't answer the phone, the rest of the service is good, got a hard to get new amd cpu with a short wait time and a hard to get video card on order that should take less then 2 weeks, its not a shop online or by phone kinda store, you have to go in, even during a pandemic: (

Not bad for specialty items or gaming stuff, they have a great repair service. Staff helpful if you get the right one, manager is weird.
Prices can be good, check for sales, unless your buying top of the line stuff, which they have. Good variety in most things.
They sell out of stuff & don't restock fast enough tho. So if you have a specific item in mind call & check the availability before making a trip in.

Ordered a MSI B450-f Gaming Carbon AC motherboard for pickup. I received 3 calls stating different issues with the board everytime and a whole different issue while I was in the store. This is annoying, however, I bought a different MLB and CPU because their prices are good.

Overall, the customer service needs to improve.

The one thing I hate about them is that they are the only one of their kind in my neck of the woods. They have no real competitor.
Having said that, this store is exactly what I would expect from any store with computer in its name. Huge inventory and fairly helpful employees!
If you're looking to buy a computer exactly as you want, given them a visit.
Being unique around here their store can get very busy. Half of their on site parking is littered with huge, bumper-crunching, tire-flattening potholes. Unless you're driving a serious SUV you cannot park in that part of the parking. It looks like a former minefield.
Otherwise, if you are a real self-respecting computer nerd, this store is your heaven on earth.

These guys lost a $190 sale because of a 18 cent screw. I was amazed. Went in to buy a M. 2 SSD and I know my laptop doesn't have the retaining screw so I asked for one. The sales guy tried to tell me that every MB has the screw. Right. So, I asked service if they can sell me a screw and they told me I had to contact the manufacture. You guys don't carry MB screws in your repair shop? No. The service guy even told me to hold down the M. 2 with electrical tape (smh). I returned the item. Turns out you can use a M3 5mm screw.

Service is exceptional, prices are good, store is terribly out dated. The major problem is the Scarborough location always runs out of stock. I end up having to drive up to the Markham store to purchase what I need they always have more than enough. Whoever does the stock ordering and control for the Scarborough location either needs to get their act together or be replaced. I understand it is a high volume store, however, because it is a high volume store then the stock quantities need to be adjusted to reflect that. You are losing sales to the Markham store.

NOBODY ANSWERS ANY PHONE IN ANY BRANCH OF THE COMPANY OR INDIVIDUAL STORE AND ZERO RESPONSES TO MY EMAILS! I have never experienced such poor customer service.

Purchased video card that is "SUPPOSED" to come with choice of 2 games (Resident evil 2/Division 2/Devil May Cry 5). Resident evil has been released now and still no code received after following instructions. I tried emailing/phone/even showing up in store and the employee at the store said that the 2 games offered were "free" as in who am I to complain that I haven't received them! That is $170 VALUE THAT THEY ROBBED ME OF!

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS GARBAGE COMPANY ONLINE OR INSTORE. DO NOT SUPPORT THESE THIEVES AND GOOD LUCK IF YOU NEED ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Horrible place that scammed me. I bought all the parts here and paid for a computer to be built and it had a stuttering problem in every game. It was under warranty so I brought it in to repair but they said they couldn't do anything about it so Im out $1500.
