Beyond terrible. Mr. Sergio (the same white, bald guy who everyone is talking about in the reviews) shoved his finger into my face and did not even give me the opportunity to speak, after refusing to give me my passport. I was yelled at for a minute straight, till I broke into tears after being publicly humiliated. Later, upon calling Canada Post, I was told that I was not even in the wrong and had all the right documents to pick my passport. Even if Mr. Sergio genuinely thought I did not, there was no need for him to aggressively yell with his fingers in my face. It is insulting, intimidating and absolutely not okay. As someone new to this country and still navigating its bureaucracy, the least I expect is some co-operative behaviour. We are all allowed bad days at work but to be so disrespectful to a younger, immigrant woman who is clearly scared and intimidated is unacceptable behaviour.
What would it take for you to take some accountability, Canada Post? !

The Asian guy was so rude and mean. I showed him my pickup confirmation email, my G2 license still refused to give me my package. He wanted me to bring a green paper by MTO which I never had! Made my friend to come with the delivery package email printed and signed. He was in fact difficult to understand for his heavy accent and his mask on! Im gonna complain Canada post customer service! He should not be working here!

It was surprisingly painless… after seeing so many bad reviews about this location I decided to prepare everything I can so the staff won’t have a chance to say no to me. But in fact, after I handed the FlexDelivery page with the barcode to the Asian lady staff, she just looked at my Ontario Photo ID (great card to have if you don’t have a driver license) and let me signed the package and I was good to go! The whole process took less than 3 minutes.

Not even worth a star. They LOST my passport. Irresponsible staff and rude in the meantime. Never come to this branch as you will always face issues. They didn't even bother themselves to search for it in their office or to help me.

Please don't go this store, if you dont want to be mad and upset. The Asian guy, with glasses on, is not reasonable and rude. He seems know everything about pickup, but he doesn't. Not offering any help but yelling and offensive.

The guy works on the front dest should be retrained properly or should be checked for possibly mental health issues,he doesn't even know how to treat the costumer and even showing some attitude and anger when asked questions,this is totally rude!I would give 0 star if I can.

Probably the rudest service I've ever experienced. The guy working there on Oct 25 (closing shift, caucasian, goatee-like facial hair) not only told me to go away since he 'didn't call me' as I approached the till but also interjected when I asked the other staff member what time they were closing to indicate they actually close the doors at 5: 20. Even if you hate your job that much, there's no reason to project that dissatisfaction onto others. Best to take your postal needs elsewhere, no reason to subject yourself to such unprofessionalism and subpar service.

The person on duty closed before 5: 30 and was quite rude, for no reason. Would recommend going at least 30 mins before closing time. Another customer who came after me can vouch for this.

It’s not a “two star” bad experience. I’m also here to pick up my passport and I was super nervous after seeing sooo many bad reviews. But I got mine smoothly. Please make sure you have your id & email with you. Just print out the form if the address on your id doesn’t match. I gave three stars since the staff is not friendly, or maybe he is in bad mood. And they’re closed on the truth day, which is a Friday.

I have no clue why so many negative reviews for this location. I went to collect my passport and it was very smooth process. You need to bring your valid ID which has same address as the address you gave while submitting your passport application. Plus you must have received an email from canada post beforehand which has a bar code for pickup. Take these 2 with you when u come here to pickup and there wont be any problems whatsoever.
Overall I didn’t have any problems at all and got my passport in barely 3minutes.

How to understand “definition of worst service “? You will learn here.

Got an email from canada post to pick up my parcel. Drove from waterloo area (98 km one way). Email described to bring piece of government id. Did same as described in email. BUT

No they refuse to give me my parcel with foolish explanation. “ Employee at this canada post store told me that US embassy made a mistake so canada post employee at this location will not give this parcel to the person whom the parcel belong to. Waw

Employee said because its 3rd party address on package (my name, my phone number was on my package and address was canada post bay street, toronto).

They will not give my parcel which is under my name. But they will give it to some one (third party) but not to me. This is ridicules. What kind of mentality they have.

So i called my wife from all the way from waterloo to toronto downtown at this canada post location. (she drove in her cousion’s car filled up gas (1.73$/ L today). Meanwhile i spend 23$ to print two pages of canada post email which they wanted me to sign and authorize third party to pick up.

Here my wife became third-party for them. My wife eventually released this parcel from Canada post, where i waited outside in car.eventually ended up wasting 6 hours in total (waterloo to Toronto and back to Waterloo)

According to them third party could be anyone from street but not me. I could request anyone from street and sign paper so that unknown person is allow to pick up my parcel but i m not allowed. Waw

This place is sucks, people works here sucks. They neither understand simple math nor logic. They are not practical but they look in only one direction without any proper understanding.

Canada post needs to train their own employee. BIG TIME

Worst of the worst service ever existing in this planet. The tall Asian Male is very incompetent, rude and has no idea what they're doing. I have to wast the whole day to pick up my passport.
Myself + my valid ID are not okay. They told me "your address has to be the Post Office to pickup the stuff (what the hell?) ". But they think a random stranger with my signature to pick up my own parcel is okay instead.
Overall, again, worst of the worst. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE!

I visited to pick up a package. In and out in 5 mins max. Person asked for barcode, ID proof and phone number and after 2 mins he got my package. No issue at all!

I'm really hoping this was a mistake and not some cruel joke. I came here to print my online shipping label and send off my parcel. The employees said they didn't have printing so I asked which location I could go to and they gave me the address for a place that didn't exist. I spent over 20 mins walking around the area looking for the store. Finally I just went to my usual 465 Yonge St store which printed my label in like 10 seconds.

Really old fashion workers include the younger employees. My printed label said 1 pounds and the worker told me to cancel and but another label cause it supposed to weight 1.3 ️. Is better to talk to machine than these people

I've used this location for at least 20 years without incident. The staff have always been courteous. However, I've never shipped anything to a post office or anything else out of the ordinary.

This location also sells coins from the Canadian Royal Mint (i've bought a few over the years) and special stamps.

I've also purchased an all-you-can-stuff shipping box (pay one flat mailing price and ship anything you can fit in it).

The location is brightly lit.

There is no free WiFi. There are no customer washrooms. It is accessible.

Unfriendly staff. It's the first time I've encountered someone who insisted on seeing a physical bill with my address when I tried to pick up my package. They acted like they were doing me a favour when they reluctantly accepted an electronic bill on my phone. "I'll give it to you this time. " Thanks for being so condescending.

Go to the Canada Post at the basement of Shopper's on Dundas Square. They have longer hours and less grumpy staff.

Poor staff with no patient. I reference their policy number for equipment return. The staff told me there is no policy number. NO POLICY NUMBER AT CANADA POST guys! Don’t go there, period.

I arrived at 5: 28pm. The doors were already locked. I kocked on the doors and explained that I needed my passport. The guy shut the door on me and didn't even want me to finish. Poor poor customer service and poor poor manner.

They employee I had is very incompetent, i had to pick up my passport from this location, I had clear instructions on what proof to get in the email I received from them, but the employee was questioning me so much for no reason even when I had all the current proof. She was also being so condescending at end, telling me “Good luck crossing the border lol” sort of way. 0/5 stars, pick another post office if you can, because this is terrible and incompetent imo. Thank god there was another person who at least sort of pushed her to do the right thing. Otherwise I would’ve probably not gotten my passport without escalating the situation.

Friendly staff & convenient location. Gets very busy during lunch time, so expect a line up. Very quiet in the morning.

Utterly INCOMPETENT, better off going to the shopper's at yonge and dundas location.employees at this location do not know what they are doing.the employees here need more training on giving the correct information.bad service, fine, i can deal, but giving the wrong information and having me run to another post office just because you can't do your job correctly is NOT GOOD

Staff are not aware of normal protocol or customer service. Also why is it that this location charges more? My normal shipments cost the same everywhere else, every time, for the same item, but for some reason are more expensive here?

I am a nice person who just wanted to see if my package was in this facility this morning at 9: 40 am. The man who attended me COMPLETELY REFUSED to check if my package was at this facility and treated me like I was a waste of his time even though his job is to do just that and it would have taken him a few seconds. I insisted a couple times before giving up, and I got the worst experience I have ever had on a Canada Post and it made me really sad, or ANYWHERE. I hope I never have to come back here. He hates his job, but then why is he doing it? Canada Post shouldn't hire people like this.
