For passport photos ever since the guy changed its been horrible communication and horrible service. I don't feel the nice atmosphere anymore. The last straw was today when the stamp of my PR picture was smudged and normally everywhere else I've renewed my pr card I've always had a free of charge 2nd try with careful instructions on smudging. But no he charged me $5 for a mere reprint. Ridiculous. I asked to speak to manager and he said no he's not on the phone today. What? I'm taking my business elsewhere from now on. Pathetic

The older lady that works there is always very rude, grumpy and impatient. In fact, since my last visit, it was my last straw with this location because of her attitude. I actually ended up spending my time to go to another location, where customer service actually exists, and where I trust my package will be handled by competent employees. And I guess I’ll be doing that from now on. Hopefully she retires soon though!

Just to put it into perspective, I’ve received better customer service in developing countries, whose postal services are known to be dysfunctional and untrustworthy. This is as bad as it gets. I’ll come back in a couple of years to check this location again and hopefully she’s not working there anymore by then, because all the re-training she’s gone through seems to only have made her even worse. Some people should just never be around customers. She’s clearly one of them.

Imagine being disrespectful to every customer you meet, that most from the neighbourhood can’t even stand you anymore.

If this lady worked anywhere else, I couldn’t imagine anyone would ever come back to that establishment. But this not like a restaurant we can just avoid and unfortunately people have to use their service and put up with her unpleasant attitude, for years! AVOID IF YOU CAN! But if you can’t go to another location, be prepared to be treated like a fool and receive below standard service if she happens to be behind the counter.

Not sure about other reviews, but I've had only positive experiences here at this post office the 2 times I've went. The staff go above and beyond to help. Will go there again in the future!

Just a question to hr canada post: are u part time working in Health Canada as well? Where are u found this crazy workers? So rudeeeee lady

This is the worst service in history, i sent a package to Ottawa and they said it's gonna arrive in 2 days but it never arrived now 3 weeks later. And when i came back and said what happened to my package they told me an older lady there is nothing they can do because it was not registered mail in the most unfriendly manner! My package is lost and it seems this is not the first time at this location this happens!

One women was working and serving all Canada Post. I think you need to hire at least one more person to make your service being faster.

I live in Peter Andrew crescent, Thornhill. Most of the time the post man delivers my parcels to other house and in tracking information they mentioned they left a note! But no notes in my door, and sometimes I have some mails for a different address in my post box!
It happens a lot and it’s so difficult to find my packages.

Rude employee. You must train your employees to show respect to the customers. Do not let them to communicate with clients if they are not able to behave properly.

Generally they are good. Not excellent, but good. I took away one star because in my experience there is elevated probability that the staff reacts emotionally on issues or what might look like a light complaints. I would recommend the staff to take training on emotional intelligence. If you service customers you must know how to manage your emotions.

Employees in this location are amazing! They are very knowledgeable and I never had any problem sending my mail and parcels in Canada and overseas.

Canada post cashier so slow and very not productive.
There was only few in front of me but had to wait so long.

I had worst experience ever in 30 years with this office. Avoid this mail office. My package never been delivered. When I went there and start to complain about the package she start to blame me for her screw ups.

Great Canada Post location. I go here every time I do a return or just send a package. Always quick and easy and I just like this location in general. You can take your passport photo here (never done it, but still cool).

Thieves - stay away - beware of parcels NOT being shipped out. I am currently reporting a parcel that was dropped off July 18 (today is August 2) to be sent and still showing with them per tracking which shows it is still onsite with the post office. The grumpy elderly lady who works there warned me that I'm responsible for shipment because the label was a bit faint and she refused to scan, so she instead manually entered. She does not like to work, and they are running a sketchy operation. They sell under the table face masks and sanitizers at a gouged price and within the Canada Post counter. They sell fake knock off Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga - truly unethical business dealings. Reported to Canada Post but stay away for your safety. Canada Post has confirmed the package has NOT left this post office and is conducting investigation and will follow up next week.

I use this location to ship out packages all the time and all the staff is always extremely nice except for the older lady. Ive only interacted with her twice and she's been beyond rude both times. She never smiles or says hello and she just seems fed up with everything. She never answers any questions and refuses to help in any way. If I see her working I just go to a different location because I know she's going to give me issues.

Worst service ever. I had to go there multiple times to pick up a parcel, cuz they didn't accept my ID as my address ON my ID is different than where I reside.

Good service, wish they would answer the phone often instead of having to call in multiple times.

The staff here are extremely rude. I came here on a Sunday with my fiancé so he could ship out a package. We didn’t realize they were closing in 5 minutes - our mistake for not checking. I understand it’s the end of the day, and the staff want to go home, but the woman behind the counter was SO rude - sighing and rolling her eyes when serving us.

As soon as 4: 00 pm hit, they turned off all the lights and locked the door. There were still about 6-7 customers inside the store at the time. This made us feel very uneasy, as if we were being trapped inside. Turns out someone was at the door trying to come in, but the staff rudely turned them away. The staff shut the door in the customer’s face, and held it closed when the customer tried to open the door. The woman behind the counter kept yelling ‘What does he want? Tell him to go away! Only the people who are inside can stay. Nobody else is allowed to come in! We are closed! ’

I wanted to buy some stamps, so I asked the woman behind the counter after she was finished helping my fiancé. It was 4: 05. She shooed us out of the store, barking ‘No! I don’t want to stay any longer! ’ I’ve never seen customer ‘service’ like this before. Definitely won’t be coming back anytime soon.

Service is always fast and the staff are friendly. I’m not sure about all the negative reviews but I have never had a problem.

Have never had a problem at this outlet, always good service and never too much of a lineup. I would be willing to bet that most people that are complaining cause a lot of the problem themselves. Make sure you have your proper ID and documentation to make things go smoothly.

I contacted the store because while doing my yearly bank reconciliations for my business, I noticed that the charges on my bank statement were higher than what is written on the receipts I was provided by this store. Every single transaction was off, which creates a huge problem while trying to reconcile your accounts during tax season.

There is no notice in the store about a service fee for using interac and there is no receipt provided for the transaction fee. This is unlawful.

The lady that picked up the phone today told me that its no big deal and she'll just give me my. 25 cents per transactions back. Complete disregard for how many people are scratching their heads and trying to reconcile their accounts during tax season.

Check your bank statements and file a dispute when the amounts don't match up.

If I had a choice to give them 0 star I would love to. They ignored me couple times being extremely disrespectful. They also cursed at me yelling F off and ending the call. I don't recommend this place you deserve better. Is this 1057 Steels Ave W, North York, ON? Also look at your reviews.

Incompetent and dim staff. I keep calling this post office phone number, and no one picks up or calls back.
