Canada Post

Horrible customer service. I brought in a prepaid Amazon return here today and was told to buy a box or a bubble mailer for an item no smaller than the palm of my hand. Every Canada Post office I've ever visited for a small prepaid return put the item in a clear shipping bag from behind the desk, stuck the label on and said have a good day, no questions asked. These 2 workers made me sound like a crazy person when I explained what I've always done with other offices, and refused to help me unless I purchased their shipping packaging. Stay away from this location, the mini-mart up the road is a much better location.

I recently visited this outlet to mail an important letter that I had already put postage stamp on and wanted to check that it was sufficient postage before mailing. The dark haired man who served me seemed to be suspicious of the stamp and picked at the corners before muttering it was ok. Today this letter was returned to me with a sticker saying “insufficient postage “ and a red rubber stamp across the stamp I had used saying”REUSED STAMP”! It was NOT a reused stamp! It came from a package of adhesive stamps that belonged to my deceased mother and rather than buy “new “ stamps I have been using up these old stamps and it was perfectly affixed to envelope before this worker started picking at the edges! Only one day has passed since my first going into this outlet and this very quick return can only mean that this postal outlet was responsible for canceling the stamp and returning it to me! All this for a $1.15 stamp and after it was “grudgingly” okayed and mailed! My advice to this postal employee? DON’T be so quick to judge others and a courteous demeanour wouldn’t hurt!
