Canada Post

Canada post department of store is completely CLUELESS. Tried to pay duties on a package, I provided a tracking number but they asked me to hand them the package to pay for the duty which makes zero sense…. I’m there to pay duties in order to collect the package …. It took two employees to still not figure it out, walked out. Don’t waste time here ….

Terrible customer service at this post office, truly awful. I can't imagine how someone who is elderly, or needs help, would cope. It is quite shameful for a place that is offering a public service to be so bad at serving the public.

The staff used to be very unfriendly (not to say rude) so I had stopped going there, but since it’s literally down the street from where I live I started going again a few months ago, and I have only had a nice experience since. They have, of course, changed the staff members, which makes all the difference!

I'm going to leave a positive rating to balance out the one stars.

This location is super convenient for me personally and I've always had great, quick service.

Please take the negative reviews with a grain of salt and give this place a try. It's not that bad and I really appreciate having a post office I can walk to.

I love this location! The service is prompt and friendly and the ladies that work there are lovely. I was reading some of the other ratings (specifically the low ones) and wanted to personally point out that the people that work at the desk know when there are new shipments that arrive because they are there at the desk to accept the deliveries. So. If the shipments haven't arrived yet (even though your note to pick it up says it has or online it says it has) it may not be there yet because the post people who are bringing it over may not be there on time. The best way to check if your item is there is by calling directly and asking the location if they have your item or not. I send and receive a lot of parcels so this is just from my experience asking them questions about things when I've had similar situations. Hope this helps! Thank you all for your great service. This location is far better than the one on Queen West that my parcels sometimes get sent to for pickup instead.

Terrible service. The woman clearly dislikes people and her job. She took my notice of delivery and didn’t even bother to check if they had it because it was the same day. She looked at it and told me to come back tomorrow. I told her it was already delivered to her location which was confirmed via email but she is lazy I guess and didn’t even fulfill her job of checking or scanning my delivery notice or my name or anything. Seems like she should be doing something else. I’ll never go back if I don’t have to.

Not one to leave rating. But this is the worst post office I've been to. It's like the manager is angry at mail, and you bringing mail or receiving mail just compounds the problem.

The lady I usually run into here is angry when you ask questions about how things work as if you're wasting her time by being a customer of the post office. After enduring her company, a live chat rep on their website told me that the information she gave me was incorrect anyway. I have spoken to several workers at several branches and they will all give a different answer to the same question. I wish I didn't have to keep using this service because I always dread going there.
