Open claim on February 6 2023 after mother passed. Was told 2 weeks to issue payment of benefits. 2 months later no money no reason no contact. I've called each week since beginning and no return call. Poor customer service claims department just gives the runner round.another corporate grab.

If you get a funeral protection coverage with them, anything less than $50K, clients can ask for express pay and be paid out within 5 business days. No more waiting 4 - 6 months for policy approvals. For those that have health conditions that would otherwise be declined elsewhere, Canada Protection Plan will have a program for you. Always keep your agent's contact information, so that they can help you fast track things with any insurance company.

The reason that I choose Canada Protection Plan for life insurance was due to my advisor, Kayden Buxton. I spoke with him initially, checked out other companies and then returned to Kayden. His knowledge, professionalism and communication skills are top notch. He is very personable as he clearly explains and clarifies each component of the policy. He also displayed a great deal of patience in responding to my additional questions. I feel that he represents this company extremely well. Needless to say, I would not hesitate to recommend him.

I recently felt compelled to contact The Canada Protection Plan for product information. Not only are the rates for their insurance products competitive, the agent with whom I spoke was prompt, thorough and helpful. Nasim Hojatpanah Montazeri was my contact throughout, and she served to be punctual, and knowledgeable. To a fault Nasim took the time to explain all aspects of the products, the industry and all pertinent regulations and was most effective throughout. Well done, Nasim! You are truly an effective ambassador, and I thank you.

I purchased life insurance from this company back in December of 2020 and have been paying premiums every month and I called them to ask a question about my policy and the customer service department could not answer my question, she said she had to email someone else and they would call me back and I never received a call back. It’s very important that they answer my questions so I know if it will be covered or not.

My father died a few years back and was paying a premium for Canada Protection Plan. Being the Executor, I called to find out hie coverage. The person on the line was rude, uncaring and callous. This company should be avoided at all cost!

My late husband died within the two years of incontestability period, the Forester Financial refuse to pay the claim saying that there is a question he should have said yes but said no to it. The cause of death was natural cause by the coroner's report but this company managed to find a reason to decline the claim. This is no medical insurance. When anyone is taking insurance policy, take a bigger coverage that will trigger the underwriter to request medical, that way you have proof to take them to court even if the deaths occur within two years. As long as they give you the policy, the liability is on them. FYI, no medical coverage means no death benefits from this company so never take a policy without medical, you will regret it.
