I have 2 issues with Canadian Appliance Source.

1. They have 2 prices when you go in-store: original and sale. It wasn't until after I ordered that I realized their original prices are marked at a way higher price and then was priced down displaying it's a sale when it's actually equivalent to other big box stores. Hence, I realized this is a scam.

2. They do not let you cancel unless it's with the same sales representative that processed your order. It took several days before I could finally reach him. Upon cancelling, the sales representative gave me a difficult time when I tried explaining to him that the reason I was cancelling was due to issue #1 (above). Instead of giving me any chances to finish my explanation, he stated that I was being unfair, wasting his time, etc. This went on for a bit before he said it has been cancelled and rudely hung up on me.

Fortunately, I received a full refund. However, I do not recommend coming here as it is a scam based on the way they mark their pricings. And I must say, as someone who also works in the customer service industry, this is the first time I have ever dealt with such rude customer service. I would give a 0 star if that was an option, but unfortunately it's not. I hope no one else ends up in a similar situation.

Today I spent about two hours emailing and speaking to Jay a sales representative at the Etobicoke location. I was interested in purchasing three LG appliances totaling 5000.00. To finalize the purchase and pay the 25 percent deposite, I went into the store. Upon arrival I was promptly greeted by Jay. He patiently showed me the display models that I requested quotes on. I asked Jay if there was anything better he could do on the price He replied, " I did the best I could, but I'll ask the manager. " The manager came, looked at the quote on the computer screen which we were looking at and abruptly said "I don't even want this deal. " I looked at them in disbelief, got up, said thank you. I shook Jays hand and left the store. Unfortunately, Jay today wasted his time, lost his commission and a return client because of the mangers lack of professionalism. As a result of this experience, I will cancelling an order for a Broan fan that I placed in October.

Complete lack of customer service. I walked in to purchase a dishwasher and was not even greeted upon entry. Was left to browse on my own with no assistance or acknowledgement whatsoever, few times the staff members who sit in the centre of the store not wearing their masks looked up to just stare, not a smile or a hello. I noticed two other groups of individuals who arrived after me were serviced, even though I had arrived first. Honestly felt that I was judged based on my age and not offered any service. Will be taking my purchase elsewhere.

Last delivery of the day.thought the gentleman would be tired! Nope! They scoped out the route for my new new stove and within minutes, it was throught the front door (I thought that would be a real choke point) up the stairs and in. Profesional and very curtious gentleman! Fantastic! Now to clean the new unit and start cooking!

Efficient, knowledgeable and organised sales person with access to all the relevant information. Good follow up to confirm order etc. Delivery notification is late the day before. It would be better to know earlier in the day for booking elevators etc. Day of delivery tracking very helpful. Staff super helpful and quick. The drain hose on the washing machine was too short and the installers had no fix so the install was not completed. I had to get a hose extension and install it subsequently. I would have expected the team to come equipped to complete the install as I am likely not the first customer with this issue in a condo.

If you are looking for the best service and goods selection, go straight to Canadian Appliance Source. All of my appliance purchases for many years were made in this place. They have not failed us even once. Unlike many other large appliance stores that promise delivery in January-March, this store had everything in stock. Especially we would like to thank our sales consultant Khaldoon Al-Warhani, who not only new all products very well, but also had limitless patience while helping us and counting the air holes in every fridge we checked out.
A special thank you to the company that delivered our fridge the very next day. This was the absolute best delivery service we ever had to deal with. We didn't have to sit and wait for the delivery for the whole day like usual. They let us know right away that the delivery will be made at 4pm. Receptionist called us an hour in advance. The fridge was quite good and was too big to fit into the elevator. Two delivery guys quickly took off fridge doors on the ground floor and just as quickly and professionally reassembled it upstairs. If only all stores had the delivery service of such quality!
Highly recommending to use the services of this store and especially their Etobicoke location sales consultant Khaldoon Al-Warhani.

Delivery team was courteous, friendly, careful and efficient. No visible damage from delivery. Delivery tracking app is very helpful and useful. Pricing, selection and availability of range was good. We also purchased our washer & dryer from CAS a year ago. Will definitely use CAS and would recommend CAS for all appliance purchases.

I had the worst customer service experience with this company at their Etobicoke location. I had ordered appliances from them months ago for my kitchen renovation and had never received any of the appliances to date. I requested they cancel my order as the wait time was unreasonable for anyone. They charged me an administration fee for products I never received! When I went into their store I was treated and spoken to like garbage by two of their staff Rajesh Sareen and Khaldoon Al-Warhani. When I requested the shift managers information he refused to provide his name and business card. My advice to anyone considering doing business with this company is save your self your time and dignity and take your business elsewhere.

Pay attention to the poor reviews here. They're legit. I had a bait and switch pulled on me with an online price. They claimed their system couldn't honour the free delivery the website listed and they would have to send me the invoice by email. When they did, it was the full price minus only $20. I asked them to correct it again and it was again not what they had offered. I offered to pay the correct price and I was ghosted. Not only very unprofessional, but just plain rude. They seemed to assume I was an idiot who couldn't do basic math and were hoping to swindle me. Go elsewhere. I ended finding the exact same models of appliance at Costco online for less and 100% less difficulties.

I went in to buy a microwave and didn't receive any service, which was fine as I knew exactly what I was buying. Not even an acknowledgement when we walked in. I bought it there because they're a Canadian company. Just over 3 weeks later, the microwave stopped working. They just directed me to the manufacturer. And yes I called After-Sales and they said the same thing. Call the manufacturer. I figured when under a month, the retailer would help me out a little more. Customer service sure is going down hill.

EDIT: I understand you don't manufacture, but after 3 weeks I thought you could've helped us out more. I thought you were a big enough company that had the purchasing power to allow returns at least within the first month or so.guess not. Next time I'll buy from Costco.

Horrible after sale service – rude, dismissive and contentious. Something has changed in this company.
We have purchased quite a few appliances from CAS over the years and always had a good experience until now.
Our sales representative has always been professional, responsive and someone I highly recommended (and CAS by default) when the opportunities arose. Our recent experience, with the after sale service, both the delivery and subsequent interaction with customer service, was so rude, dismissive and contentious that we will not be using CAS in the future and will warn anyone who may be looking for appliances.

7/22 - I have provided CAS with all my info - will update with any follow up on their part.

8/13 - Company did follow up - email to say they would look into it and nothing after that. My long standing business with them and the horrible delivery and Customer service I received did not warrant more than that. No phone call, no action to make up for the horrible service or to try to win back my business. Words on a page with no real value from a company that has lost touch with what made them a great company to begin with.

My fridge broke and I needed to find a replacement asap. CAS was the only appliance company that was able to meet my budget and time sensitivity. I was able to actually speak to sales person who helped me thank you Tim! Delivery guys were amazing as well. Most importantly I am happy with my new fridge.

I had my doubts ordering online again after a previous experience with an applience item purchased from one of the big stores. I had to wait half a year for the product. This time the product was ordered online 2 days prior delivery and arrived as promised. It was delivered at the scheduled time in a store-closed box to prevent any damage. Thank you very much CAS for restoring my trust in the customer experience.

I just wanted to let everyone know of the awesome customer service I received from CAS recently. After purchasing a fridge and having a mix up with the delivery I proceeded to do a live chat with "Summer" who was extremely pleasant and helpful. It appeared my order was cancelled by mistake and Summer apologized on behalf of CAS and quickly went on to get me a fridge later that day. Meanwhile I noticed my " broken fridge" was now actually working so I contacted CAS again and asked them just to leave it cancelled because I don't need it after all. Initially I was told I would have to pay a 25% restocking fee. I then contacted customer care and spoke with Jane O'Donnell who again was extremely pleasant. Jane allowed me to tell my whole story (which was a little long) and she really seemed to empathized with my story. After putting me on hold for a short time she came back and informed me that I would receive a full 100% refund. Jane was an angel that day and I couldn't of been more happy. Thank you Jane, Summer and CAS. I will definitely come back for all future purchases! Not only are the prices unbeatable but so is their customer care.

We went to a showroom near Etobicoke. Joseph was extremely helpful and we found what we wanted (a freezer) among multiple choices. He offered us a good deal that I found it the best between other options that I had.

Better be prepared and research on what you want.sales rep was not all helpful. Would not have the item shipped (small range hood) to Toronto location and had to pickup in eticoke a week later.

Ordered a LG dishwasher. Took over a month to get when the salesman said 2 weeks. When I called to check the status of my order, the representative didn't acknowledge the situation. Face to face the people were friendly. I won't purchase an appliance from here again.

Don't even think about ordering form here. Terrible service, and a less than transparent refund policy.don't give them any money for anything.

I ordered a dryer, then realized shortly it could be fixed. I was told that I needed to forfeit 25% of my purchase. It was never delivered, and I tried to cancel it about 36 hours later. On top of that, there is no one you can talk to. They made me fill out a pdf form and scan and email it in, after which someone who didn't identify themselves except by "management team" emailed me that he/she wouldn't refund the purchase. He wanted me to pay $250 for the pleasure of using their online site.

Do research. Nothing except BBB complaints on this company for bad service and opaque/unclear return/refund policy. Go to Lowes, HD or somewhere else. ANYWHERE ELSE.

NEVER WOULD REFER ANYONE TO ANY OF THE CANADIAN APPLIANCE STORES. My husband and I bought a microwave from CAS and it was delivered to us obviously opened previously as it contained an oven rack and didnt work.
CAS replaced the microwave but would not deliver. Although it was delivered initially.
We had to pay to have a redelivery charge because my husband is handicapped and cannot lift or carry. Customer service and escalations were rude and would not listen to reason. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Anyone who rates this as a 5 star must work or have relatives working within the company.

I suggest people think twice before place an order at Canadian Appliance Source because they don't offer full refund even you never received the item, provide bad delivery service and bad customer service. It is not a good idea to buy appliance here and there are plenty many better options out there.

First, they charge 25% restocking fee when you apply the refund, it does not matter if you placed the order by the phone or online or you ever received the item. For example, even if you try to get a refund three hours later after placed an order online, you still have to pay 25% restocking fee.

Secondly, they delivery service is not very convenient. They will give you the delivery window time like 4 hours during the day, but the driver will never call you before the departure. For instance, my delivery window is today between 8 am 12 pm, I assumed the driver will call me like 30 min before the arrive, so I can go home and receive the items since I work near home it only takes 15 min drive to home, instead they got my home waited like 10 min and the driver called me and told me they are only going to wait another 5 min and leave, so I have to pay for the second attempt delivery fee. They don't provide the service that calling the customer before arrival.

Third, the customer service is not for customer. I tried to get full refund since I haven't received any item surprisingly I placed my order almost month ago, but the customer service told me I have to fill up the form to pay 25% restocking fee and non-refundable delivery to get partial refund. If I want to get my item for the next delivery I have to stay at home for the entire delivery window, so i have to take vacation and stay at home to get those items. And there is no weekend delivery.

As a result, I personally strongly suggest people to be really careful and cautious to place an order at Canadian Appliance Source because consumers can end up paying 25% restocking fee to get nothing, and pay for poor management of delivery service and unsatisfying customer care experience. I personally still waiting for my items to be delivered. I place my order at Nov, 9th, 2018, I "missed" the delivery today (Dec, 4th, 2018), I paid extra fee and rescheduled to Dec, 14th, 2018. I still want to get full refund if they let me do since I still got nothing so far, but I will follow up more as I receive those appliances. I don't understand how they can get so many five star reviews for those three points I listed above.

I had an excellent experience at CAS. Anthony spent over two hours with me, explaining all of the options for the new range, and taking time to listen patiently to my needs for this purchase. He was knowledgable and I felt no pressure whatsoever. The range was delivered on time and as expected. Thank you! Will be back.

I recently ordered a microwave from here, but found the same item at another store that was much cheaper. I called back right away to cancel my order, and I had some trouble doing so as the company said I was not eligible for a refund. After some back and forth, they finally allowed me a refund but they did not clarify if I was able to get back my deposit for $139.27. After a couple days of no response, I called the company again and spoke to Haroon Safdar. He was very nice and helped facilitate my deposit refund. He was very accommodating and made sure I was taken care of, despite all that happened with the company prior. Haroon was kind and understanding towards my situation, as he helped me get my money back!

Went in to look at a dishwasher and range. The model of dishwasher I was looking at was available as a floor model unit which Rajesh showed me. Unfortunately, we were not made aware that it would be missing the crucial brackets to install the dishwasher. Of course I only noticed this after my old dishwasher was removed. I contacted CAS support and was told "too bad". They claim that floor models often come with missing parts. I would have appreciated being told this up front. Furthermore, though the dishwasher looked good in the showroom, there was a sticker covering a couple small scratches. I'm not sure if this was intentional or not, but I was not impressed.

Worse yet, once I ran a test load, I heard a terrible noise coming from the dishwasher. I opened it up, looked in the drain and found 4 ball bearings from one of the sliders had fallen out. My experience with CAS for service has been lackluster so I will likely go through the manufacturer's warranty, but not a great experience for me.

I am waiting for the range to be available for pickup in a few days which should be brand new in box so we will see how that goes.

The actual interaction during the sales and pickup was fine to be fair.

We bought a washer just under a year ago and it recently had an issue. Haroon was extremely helpful in helping me understand my current warranty service options and was even able to provide me an extended warranty months after purchase at a great price. Given that I received a great price on the machine initially and now have coverage for 5 years, I would certainly recommend CAS to a family or friend. The issue with the machine has nothing to do with the retailer so I have no complaints with CAS.

We bought a refrigerator here a few years ago online and the experience was great, so we decided to go in to buy a washing machine when ours started to die.
The in store experience was great, we bought a front loading lg washing machine along with a pedestal. The pedestal was expected to be in a few days before delivery, but unfortunately this didn't happen, so two days before the salesperson called and let me know it might not be in and offered a floor model at a much lower price. The only caveat was that the customer needs to look at it first, so I had to go back into the store to pick it up.
All of this was fine and made perfect sense to me though having to go back into the store was slightly annoying, I understand the policy and I did end up saving substantially.

The one star deduction is just from delivery. They unpacked the washer out on the truck, and left trash from the unpacking all over the front yard that we had to clean up. We wanted it in the basement which they complained endlessly about. It was only 5 steps down. Then when they were bringing it down, they destroyed the screen door closing mechanism.

Unfortunately, while I have had great experiences with the Canadian appliance store itself, this delivery experience will make me think twice before buying here again.

My order was not available on the date promised by the web site and the sales person. Haroon, the customer service rep helped determine that one piece was still with the manufacturer. As I have contractors here expecting to install the appliance on a specific date, Haroon arranged for me to have every other piece of the order delivered when I required them, although I will still have to wait for the range. This is being done without my incurring any extra costs.
