The most disappointing, infuriating and terrible experience dealing with CAS. We trusted them to be the best at what they do and were blown away by the worst customer service we have experienced. Our order was delivered late and without any care by the delivery team resulting in a damaged drawer and scuffs on our floor, etc. Due to the late delivery we had to postpone the installation. Our installer came the next day and was shocked at the height of the flames and deemed the stove top unsafe for use. We contacted the supplier (Frigidaire) to assist our installer, because CAS does not perform any support services for the products they sell. No one was able to help the installer on the phone, and after a 400$ service call we were left without an oven as the installer did not feel it was safe to leave it installed. We contacted CAS on this day to notify them of the issue. They informed us they do not provide any support and we can only rely on their supplier to send a technician. A technician was unable to come from December 18th until December 28th. We tried to ask for a refund or for another delivery to be made and were completely ignored, with the customer service team hiding behind the fact that they do not support the customer after the purchase and everything has to be resolved through their supplier. For the entirety of Christmas our whole family did not have a working stove/oven to make food for our children. On the 28th, a different installer was sent who was not certified to work on a gas oven, when our service request was clearly indicated to be gas related. The next available appointment was on January 2nd. For another week my family could not use the stove/oven. Finally after the new year the oven was assessed. We were told that with this oven the appropriate heigh for flames was 8 inches (shocking) and we should buy larger pots and pans. No where on their website did this unit specify that the range provided extremely high flames and new cooking utensils are needed. The oven was left installed without any further help from CAS or Frigidaire. Deplorable customer service all the way through. CAS should provide support to their customers and assist in getting resolutions that take less than 2 weeks. Will never be shopping here. Order number T2828558.

The salesperson (Rebecca Chan) was knowledgeable and not pushy at all. She helped us identify the right size of range & refrigerator and answered all our questions. We'll definitely use her service again in the future.
However, the delivery team could be more courteous. They tried to get us to do their work (remove the door) and the lead person was on a personal call all the time that he was at our house. Not impressed at all!

I recently visited the Markham location of Canadian Appliance Source (CAS), and the overall experience was wonderful. It was based on a referral, and I met with Naveed Afzal. Initially I was browsing through the showroom, which is quite impressive & stocked very well, searching for the units I had pre-selected. The sales staff was very pleasant & respectful, allowing me to browse on my own. Ultimately I had the opportunity to meet with Naveed, and his knowledge & expertise was incredibly helpful. Together, we were able to narrow down & refine my selections, based on my current needs & wants. This took a fair bit of time, and he was both patient & accommodating. I left feeling satisfied & pleased, with the level of service that both Naveed & the staff provided.

Andrew at the Woodbine location is amazing! He is super helpful and accommodating, this is our second time purchasing from this location and it was only because of Andrew! Will definitely be sending all my family and friends to him for their appliance needs.

We had a great experience. Our salesperson Joseph was helpful and accommodating. The delivery men Kelvin and Roger were excellent. They went above and beyond to make sure that we could get our fridge inside as our entryway was very narrow. Without their advice my husband and I would have had to send back our fridge. Thanks again to the Canadian Appliance team.

I'm a simple person.i don't ask for much. I pay the ticket price, I pay for the extended warranty (5year), zero negotiation, zero hassle. All I asked for before I purchased is that I would like to make full payment to ensure the product is ready for pick up from a third party agent as he will be installing the product. Was notified that he will do a portion payment to get the order set up for pick up and the rest will be processed after. Guess, what call i got this morning from my third party agent.outstanding balance on the order. Now it would be a simple fix by just taking my credit card number over the phone to the sales team but their undisclosed company policy was that they cant take payment over the phone and the only way is for me to come down to make payment. Now i have the choice of leaving work and driving 50kms to the distribution center and paying and driving 50kms back to work and having my installer leave because whos going to wait an hour for me to come down. Best part of this whole situation, my sales agent isn't picking up his phone and when I ask to speak to a manager, "oh sorry we don't have one, were in a call centre". Never in my life am i going to give this company another dollar of my business.

I was blown away by the exceptional customer service and support I received from Akshika Bhayana, Customer Care Consultant at Canadian Appliance Source. She was incredibly responsive and assisted with every aspect of my purchase of a dishwasher from selection to delivery. She even followed up after the delivery to make sure everything went well. I highly recommend Canadian Appliance and will not purchase from anywhere else. Thank you Akshika!

Worst of the worst. Can i rate with no star?

Think about this - when you provide a feedback to these guys in a delivery followup call, and they didn't even acknowledge but just said "have a good day, bye" with hanging up the call. How does this happen? Do they really care their customers?

Not mentioning the messy logistics such as only advising the date and time slot for delivery LESS THAN 24 HOURS NOTICE (ONE DAY AHEAD 3-6pm), over promise on a basic task of stacking washing machine and dryer, etc.

If you live in a condo or environment where you need to arrange your end of logistics ahead of time, CAS can't accommodate and can't be helpful at all.

There are tons of appliances retailers out there and you deserve something better.

To respond CAS, we fully understand the limitation and the volume issue you may face. However, the experience was terrible due to the attitude how your "so called" customer service responded to our concern.

More importantly, your sales person kept telling us we can book ANY timeslot we want which gave confidence to use your service. I believe it was not your first day encountering the high volume issue and your sales person should have been trained properly to provide caveat on your service instead of "OVER PROMISING" your customer.

You as in CAS are either failed to manage your logistics or to train your employees properly by sacrificing your customers' experience.

Saying "you have no control" is just an excuse to hide you are being incapable.

Again, can I rate with NO STAR?

My basement fridge stopped working, so I reached out to CAS. Yvonne was able to answer most of my questions and get my order processed for next-day delivery via the CAS online chat tool.
Once the fridge arrived, the delivery team determined the ordered fridge was too large to go down the stairs. Akshika in customer service spent quite some time with me going over my options and finally was able to find a fridge that would fit into the space I have.
That delivery was done within a day as well.
Overall, am very satisfied with the sales and customer service teams.

Doing business with Naveed (sales person at this location of CAS) was easy and saved me time and money. Over the last year I have been purchasing 4 kitchen appliances at this store and anytime service was great.

I was looking for a good deal for a 5 pieces of appliances. I met Naveed the store manager & it was great dealing with him! He is honest, efficient & to the point. He understood my needs and offered me the bundle I was looking for & within my budget. I really recommend him.

Purchased a washing machine with Canada appliance and it was agreed that they will install it and help to stack up the dryer on top. I am disappointed by the fact that it was not done, despite they say they will do it. Be careful on what they telling you they gonna do for you.

We are very pleased with CAS (Rebecca of the Markham store) who helped and guided us through our purchase of a gas stove/range. It was a bit of a wait but the wait was worth it. The delivery guys were efficient, friendly and careful with the delivery. Extremely pleased with CAS's services and can't wait to try our new range.

I have bought all my new appliances from Canadian Appliances. By the time of buying they want to take your money but after the appliances are bought they are not there too help at all. They tell you the date appliances are available but they are misleading you. After the appliances are delivered then they don’t take care at all. I would not recommend CAS at all. Disgusted by there service

Tim Turingia helped me purchase my appliances. The disappointing part of my experience is that I paid for ALL of my appliances to be removed and installed. Tim told me that all my appliances will be delivered and removed, however, I just learned that I have to pay separately for my dishwasher to be installed and my old dishwasher removed. And good luck in getting a hold of someone at Quick Contractors - I was on hold for 54 minutes and then the line cut and told me to leave a message. Tim Turingia never disclosed the separate charge for the installation and removal of my dishwasher. Telling me that someone is going to call me from Quick Contractors is not the same as telling there's a separate charge for the removal and installation of my dishwasher. Pretty shady IMO.

Sales team are professional, delivery is quick. However, the Whirlpool Fridge I bought is dead after 25 days of use. I contact CAS, the customer service is not helpful, and suggested me to contact manufacture, that is disappointing.
And you know what? I contact Whirlpool and let them send a technician to check, the technician told me the compressor is dead and need to wait for the parts. And he also suggest me to contact return/exchange department to exchange the fridge since it's only 1 month old. I contact the return/exchange department, they refused to exchange, they can only offer me a 150 dollar reimburse and repair. What a shame.

Very responsive customer service for the recent purchase of the Whirlpool Electric Range Model YWFE745H0FS. Johnny Wang our sales rep at the Markham store answered all my questions about this appliance and he confirmed availability and delivery for me right away. CAS delivered the stove to our condo downtown and although I was concerned about matching up our requested service elevator time with their delivery window my concern quickly evaporated! Delivery was very easy and efficient and Jeff wheeled the stove into the condo, removed the exisiting stove and guided us through a few prep issues before turning on the power to the stove. Overall, a great experience!

I ordered a Samsung Range Hood that was on backorder for over 2 months. Akshika was very helpful and provided excellent Customer Service. She took the initiative to follow up with the Purchasing Department and got back to me right away with an update. She updated me regularly with when they would be receiving the product, reserved it for me as well as booked my appointment to pick it up. I highly recommend Canadian Appliance Source, great products, great pricing and great team. Akshika went above and beyond to make this shopping experience great.

Stood for over 20mins and no one attended to us or let us know they would be with us 'shortly' so we left. Even when sales reps are busy with other clients that customer service of letting people know you 'see' them and want their business is key.

Delivered this morning by two very experienced men. All in all a very good experience. Their prices are the same as everybody else’s. So it is the service and sales that matters.

I purchased an entire appliances set (Fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, dryer, washer) and I am MORE than pleased with the items and service. My advisor Nina Zheng went above and beyond to give us the best deals and advice. The delivery guys were great too! They handled everything so well. We had trouble getting the fridge in the house so they helped us remove our front door so we can get the fridge through. Thanks for you SPECTACULAR service!

We received what we ordered on time which is an achievement given the current pandemic related delays we have all been experiencing! Next time we are in the need for a new appliance, i will go to CAS first!

Be aware to shop here if you live inside a condo. The delivery team is painful. They took you more money $129 and say they will secure you a specific time for delivery. But at the end they do nothing. The time is never the one you requested.

THE WORST POSSIBLE PLACE YOU CAN GO TO BUY ANY APPLIANCES!
I BOUGHT A FRIDGE FROM HERE, I WAS TOLD SOMETHING IN STORE AND SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT OVER THE PHONE THE NEXT DAY.

WHEN I ASKED TO RETURN THE FRIDGE THEY SAID IT'LL TAKE THEM 2 TO 3 WEEKS TO GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY AND THAT TO BY CHEQUE, EVEN THOUGH I PAID CASH IN STORE.

HIGHLY DISCOURAGE ANYONE TO VISIT THIS COMPANY TO BUY ANYTHING. THEY ARE LIARS!

First off, I would like to clarify that this review is not about the store itself, but about a particular salesperson who clearly has no respect for his customers. My rating reflects as such. My husband and I arrived at the store on a weekday and we were the only customers in the store. Soon after we walked in, we were politely greeted by Rebecca who asked us our names and if we needed any help. We did, and she said she would connect us to a salesperson shortly. I then went to the restroom and when I came out my husband had been introduced to Joseph. I was first put off by him as my husband asked him a question, and Joseph only spoke to him and had his back turned to me for the first few minutes. He kept addressing my husband by name, but at no time asked for mine even after it was clear that we were visiting the store together. We then proceeded to look around further and then eventually sat down to talk about making a few purchases. Joseph again only spoke to my husband and barely made any eye contact with me. (Let me add here that I have no problem initiating greetings, but when I'm a customer, I expect the employees to do that first. It's called customer service.) We ended up making a large purchase (which I now regret giving him the commission on) and even as we got up to leave, he only thanked my husband. This type of treatment is unacceptable and I'm disappointed that a reputable store has a salesperson like this. Why don't we invest in some training on respect and equality for this guy?

Bought a maytag washer and dryer from Andrew Lee last week. Dryer never worked since day one. Called them the day after delivery. They refused return or exchange!

I had a very positive experience with CAS. My customer service rep, Akshika B, was prompt and thorough, and they even helped me add the refrigerator door hinge swap after I placed my initial order. Not to mention, my order was delivered next day! All in all, I’m happy with the product, but especially with the service. 10/10.

My experience with CAS Woodbine Ave, Markham branch for purchase of a gas range was excellent.

In particular, I have to provide a great deal of credit to Mr. Naveed Afzal - the representative who serviced my account.

Naveed is most knowledgeable of all products in the store not only because he was able to answer all my questions, but I also noticed couple of other representatives consulting him from time to time on technical issues. Based on our discussions, Naveed was able to recommend and help me to narrow down and choose a product amongst many, that best suited my needs and one that was within my budget.

Naveed was very responsive to my phone calls and emails and was extremely polite and patient with my queries despite the busy schedules that most representatives of CAS are subject to during the day.

If I were to rate CAS and Naveed, I would give them both 5 stars out of a total of 5.

Over promised and has yet to deliver.

I ordered a Napoleon bbq June 13. I was told they would have it for me within 5 weeks. I agreed to the purchase based on that delivery date. My visa was charged half of the net cost plus all of the HST, a 55% deposit.

Since then they have spammed the email address I gave them twice a week with urgent order "updates". There was no real update the order status remained the same. When I complained about the spam they said just ignore the emails.

I checked back in with them in July the delivery estimate was updated with the new arrival date of August 20. August 20 I went to their online chat asked the robot for customer care and waited.to then be told, "Aug 20th was the estimate for arrival at the manufacturer. We should have it in about 10 days.

Thought I should check in this week and see if there was any news. Waited again for the customer care chat person. While discussing the order with her I mentioned the the order status on their web site had not been updated since July 6th. She said she would look into and to check back for an update in 48 hours.

The order has been updated.new ETA Oct 22nd.

I don't even know what to ask for in terms of compensation. What is the value of a lost summer bbq season. I ain't getting any younger, I could die before I receive this damn grill.

Don't buy from their call center. I bought from their call center and didn't had a good experience. I even reported this experience to their customer service but no one ever responded. I recommend you stay alerted and don't place order on their call center in a rush. Take your time. Do your research.
