All i can say is that DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME in this clinic. Wait time for me was 4 months. And at the same time I was waiting for 2 hours inside the clinic:). Looks like OHIP patients is not worth it to care. This is very disrespectful.

I had the absolute pleasure of being attended to by Paulina, a beauty technician at the Canadian Dermatology Centre. From the moment I stepped in, her professionalism and warmth were immediately evident.

Dr. Greenspoon was amazing. Warm and professional, she removed a lump on my face quickly and painlessly, healing was fast. The overall office experience was like nothing I’ve experienced. I waited a total of 6 minutes before being brought to my private room. 5 stars.

Doctors are good, but it’s impossible to reach anyone at the reception desk to make or change an appointment. There are always at least 2-4 receptionists, but the calls are often put straight to voicemail.

Emily, the laser technician, is amazing! She is so friendly, easy going, and dedicated to her work. Whenever I come in for a laser session, we always have such great conversations about so many different things. I highly recommend Emily! I would go back to her for future treatments in a heartbeat.

I have visited Dr. Kim Blakely at this practice for various skin concerns. Dr. Blakely is professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and caring. Her follow up is excellent as well. I feel I am in very good hands with her.and would recommend her care to anyone looking for a dermatologist.

I have done a laser + microneedling treatment for my acne scars. After the initial miscommunication with the former employee, I was contacted by the management that went above and beyond to solve the issue. They demonstrated the responsible and human approach, understanding of my situation, and offered the best solution that satisfied me. Special thanks to Emily who performed the treatment. I can already see visible results from the treatment!

If you’re coming in to see a doctor through OHIP, expect to sit and wait for a long time. It seems they prioritize private clients. I don’t know why they quadruple book patients as if we don’t have work or other commitments. I’ve always had to wait a minimum of 30 minutes past my appointment time. And an unpleasant sidebar: the entrance/waiting area of the clinic always smells terrible - like cigarette smoke.

Hi, I had a good experience with Canadian dermatologist center they are kind and friendly I had an fungal issue they recovered soon I too had an another issue on my skin colour were I was slightly disappointed as I don't find any recovery and to get an appointment with my doctor is very difficult, hence I request to take.some.immediate measure to have an oppointment in case of issue, over my doctor Jessica asgapora is, hence kindly undergo some measure to resolve my issues as well as for getting oppointment

I had to wait a little longer, even though I had my appointment, but Dr. Juthika Thakur was amazing.

I took my child to visit Dr. Greenspoon for a dermatology appointment (this doctor was excellent). I was very impressed with this clinic, would definitely return in the future, and have already recommended the centre to family and friends.
The office was very clean, and well organized. The staff members were professional and friendly. It was an easy visit (easy to locate office, find parking, check in, etc.) and was comfortable in the spacious waiting area.
I was really impressed with Vivian, who made the entire booking process enjoyable. She was so nice, responsible, and helpful and set the tone for our upcoming visit. Thank you for all of your help Vivian - you are wonderful!

I have been to the CDC for over a year now and had trust in their services but after my appointment yesterday I will not be going back. I have done the same procedure before here and was fine so I thought I just had to tough it out but I can confidently say it was the most pain I have ever felt. After the appointment, my skin was swollen and felt like it was intensely burning for hours. Now after 12 hours I feel very bruised and it looks like I have burn marks. What exactly went wrong that it was much more painful this time than in previous sessions? I was in excruciating pain the whole time and the technician couldn't be bothered to lower the intensity, stop the procedure, ask if I needed something to lessen the pain or even offer me ice. She pretty much just laughed it off, joked that I am being a baby and told me to ice it when I get home. The least she could have done was explain what happened but she just found it funny and seemed confused when I asked why it hurt so much. To top it off, she increased the price of the procedure telling me it was the same price I always paid. It was not. So glad I kept notes of how much I paid in previous sessions. As mentioned in other reviews, this place is just a money grab and doesn't actually care about their customers. Stay away!

I know they are limited as to what they can do that is Ohip covered but the doctor didn’t even look at my skin. I told her my concerns and she prescribed ointments. Didn’t check my scalp that I have issues with. Also skin lesions related to lymphedema not checked. It’s like an assembly line at this place.

Sharon is beyond AMAZING! She's extremely knowledgeable, professional, her treatments are extremely thorough and she cares about her clients. Wouldn't trust anyone else with my skin.

Dr. Ruppel is a phenomenal dermatologist. She's attentive, knowledgeable, and thoroughly explains the skin condition and the different treatment options available.

Had a consultation/minor procedure at this clinic. Was super clean, bright and service was great. I was seen y Dr. Kim Bakley, the appointment was quick, she was very understanding and professional. Overall great experience would recommend.

Canadian dermatology center is amazing. The clinic is clean, comfortable and modern. The front line staff are professional and friendly. I also can’t describe how fantastic Dr. Asgarpour is. She is knowledgeable, personable, compassionate and a pleasure to work with. I came in for acne and hyperpigmentation issues. She recommended an individualized treatment plan that was considerate of my needs and shortly after my skin has improved incredibly. I finally feel confident enough to go out without hiding behind makeup. She is the reason why I tell others to get referred to this clinic. Thank you Dr Asgarpour for your care. Highly recommend!

Visited the Canadian Dermatology Clinic with with my daughter, she had a small operation that was performed by Dr Chivers. The nurse that prepped the operation showed care and was very informative, it was smooth every step of the way. I appreciate the time and effort that was put in, it allowed for my daughter to feel comfortable through the entire procedure. My daughter's health and happiness is the most important thing to me and she was well looked after.
Staff was very accommodating, facility was warm and welcoming, didn't feel like I was walking into a dingy, hospital type environment. They were right on time for the appointment, didn't take my entire day. I run my own business so time is very valuable to me.
Every touch makes a big difference.

Great experience as a first timer. I barely waited to be helped when I checked in. The staff and Dr. Asgarpour were all very friendly and helpful. It has been 4 months since I have my surgery done due to carpal tunnel pain on both my left and right hands. My left hand was released first then followed by my right hand a month later. So, this review has been overdue. Dr. Quinton Chivers and his team had done a wonderful job on both my hands of which I am very grateful. I no longer experience the numbness, tingling and burning sensation on both my hands as healing progresses. I also notice that both my hands are getting stronger each day. I am able to resume my normal chores to the extent my hands enable me to do so without experiencing much pain.

Thank you Claire for your heart and sensitivity in understanding my pain and able to fit me in your schedule early after waiting for 8 months to have my EMG done. Thank you Dr. Quinton for doing a wonderful job on my hands even though the pain was excruciating in the beginning, the surgeries were worth it! I will certainly recommend you and your team to anyone who wishes to have their carpal tunnel released.

Waited for more than hour for my procedure and was told to purchase an optional $100 skin care package for scarring. As it was a doctor telling me use these products, I trusted her and purchased them. When I got home I researched the products and realized I had been sold a $15 product available at Shopper's Drug Mart. I opted to do my test results call via telephone (thinking it would be quicker) however no one called me at all. I called the front desk multiple times asking if someone was going to call me and was never contacted. I would have been happy to reschedule at the doctor's convenience but was instead told to wait. No one ever called; I still don't know my test results. Beyond unprofessional and I strongly suggest if you are interested in going here for a procedure, look elsewhere.

After extreme difficulty with getting to see a dermatologist at another clinic, I was able to squeeze in here.

The service rendered was of highest standard. I felt I got what i was looking for - A dermatologist who wasn’t rushed and spent the much needed time to assess and give me treatment solutions. I went to this dermatology clinic in Toronto. Dr Ahluwalia was great. Everything was quick and streamlined and I got what I had wanted. I have zero complaints to mention. Very friendly service.

This it not an office for medical issues, they should only accept cosmetic elective patients. I'll quote Dr. Ahluwalia "it's not my job to figure out the source of your reaction. " The doctor was also dismissive and insulting calling my wife dramatic and saying she caused "a scene" to get an appointment that wasn't months away. The doctor barely assessed anything and spent the majority of the 5 minutes she was with my wife trying to sell creams and other products. If you want lip fillers I'm sure this place is fine, but if you have an actual medical issue then you should go somewhere with doctors that actually care about patients and not only making money.

Almost forgot, when we arrived the receptionist was not wearing a mask. It was hanging on one ear with no solid barriers. Other people inside were also not wearing masks.

Response: when a person is referred by a gp to a specialist they DO NOT expect to be sold on products during the entire visit. About your mask policy, it may be in a place, but it is not followed. Your response just demonstrates to me that you are a for profit clinic that is only concerned about selling overpriced and ineffective products. FYI your doctor suggested numerous expensive creams, 1$ Vaseline fixed the problem.

If you have a medical problem seek treatment elsewhere.

Can’t say enough good things about this dermatology clinic because of the dermatologist that i saw here. I really felt that I was very well taken care of. My first appointment and the two follow up appointments were superb. My skin condition and quality improved tremendously.

Great experience from start to finish!

I received a call from the clinic shortly after my family doctor faxed the referral and was able to get an appointment very quickly (unlike other clinics who book months out). The front desk staff was friendly when booking the appointment and also when I had arrived for my visit. I spent no time in the waiting area and was brought directly to an examination room!

Dr Ahluwalia was thorough and eased any concerns I had. I found she was easy to talk to and very positive! I also spoke to Barry about some of the skinceutical products and he was able to recommend a few products that I am currently using and loving!

Rachel is super nice and professional. Yes, there was an initial charge for removing a few moles by freezing them off ($100 I believe) and to return for a follow-up in a month or two. I did and she was nice enough to touch up the ones she did the 1st time and she froze a few newer ones at no charge. Excellent customer service, Rachel. Thank you.

I had 3 sessions of laser treatments at this clinic. The redness i was trying to get rid of has disappeared significantly and there is definite improvement in overall skin tone and complexion. I had doubts about the possible treatment results before starting so i am really happy!

I received laser treatment at the Canadian dermatology centre. I initially saw dr AhluwAlia for medical consult and was referred to her laser team. The laser team gave me thorough assessment and consult. The treatment was carried out in multiple sessions and each time was very relaxing and well done. The results are undoubtedly noticeable and i am very happy with the treatment.

I couldn’t recommend this clinic enough!

I had to get a sun mark zapped and removed from my lips- the technician who helped me (Vivian) was overly professional, attentive to detail and made my experience so pleasant and comfortable.

I also spoke with the clinics plastic surgery director (Mike) and he was so helpful and ensued my experience was nothing but positive!

Finally, I always buy my skincare with Barry and he is so knowledgeable and will take the time to listen about your skincare concerns to recommend the BEST products.

Please visit this clinic if you have the opportunity!

I was only presented with one option instead of the four options listed on their website. I wish that the physician explained why a certain treatment is better than the others and how it will benefit me. The pros/cons of a certain treatment wasn't discussed (just what to expect after treatment). I wish the website listed all procedures that are covered under OHIP so the customer won't get blindsided by costs. I was seen for about 5 minutes and that was it. Overall, the customer experience wasn't great.

I was so excited today after waiting for 5 months, now I finally get a chance to meet a dermatologist and discuss my problem about 2 dark spots I have on my face and also discuss the treatment.
I met this doctor RENITA AHLUWALIA, in 5 min with just looking at my dark spot from a distance of 5ft, without looking closely or trying
to inspect, she said oh that’s pigmentation, and talked for 4 minutes why it happens and what I should use and walked out.
Really? It was a devastating experience. A dermatologist has to examine using the technology available at the Center because
what is the government paying her for?
I guess she just is interested in the number of patients visit her.

I dislike doctors that speak on topics that are out of their scope. Just say you don’t know and refer out. Went here for suspected thrush during breastfeeding - they do not know how to help regarding this. See a doctor who works with IBCLC.

We didn't meet the doctor. But I was very upset they rescheduled my kid appointment one month later than suppose to be. Maybe because we use OHIP.

I had the pleasure of consulting with Shantelle to discuss some concerns regarding some areas of concern on my face. She provided me with all my options, and was very thorough, answered all of my questions. I decided to proceed with having a botox and filler service done. I purchased a bunch of skinceuticals skincare products from this clinic. 2 months later and Marvellous results! Before and after really shows. When I was looking around for the products I didn’t know where to start because there are just so many to choose from. I booked a skin care consultation and Barry who guided me and really did a fantastic job. He asked me bunch of questions about my skin and picked out ones that are just right for skin. One of the product my skin had weird reaction to it so I notified him right away and they got me on something different! I even had a question for the dermatologist and dr ahluwalia answered my question! It was a marvellous experience and I will be back to restock once I used all my products!

After hearing good things about effectiveness of microneedling i decided to give it a try. I searched online and booked a consult and the procedure. I am now 8 weeks after the procedure and i can say with confidence it was worth every penny.

The clinic is beautiful and the nurse or aesthetician that did my treatment did a great job. It wasn’t painful or uncomfortable. I was very relaxed throughout but your mileage may vary. In the end i don’t have anything bad to say about my experience

I have really bad hormonal acne that comes and goes. I booked to see a dermatologist here for my acne after reading good reviews online. My experience accurately mirrored the reviews. I was serviced well and the treatment that was recommended has been effective.

I got facial fillers here for my nasolabial folds. They did a fantastic job smoothening out the crease which is biggest self conscious part about my face. I have plans to return once it wears off because i just cant live without it and they did a good job. The doctor was really nice and fun. Highly recommended. 10 out of 10!

The best clinic for facial peels! I had skinceuticals facial peel a few weeks ago and wow! Very effective. Their products are amazing but the peel is even better in my opinion! The masque they give at the end is so soothing it is the best feeling! Highly recommend others to try!

Dr Renita suggested I try Phloretin CF from skinceuticals for my oily skin over the CE Ferulic. I have tried many products but this one is unique. I wasn’t too thrilled with the smell and the consistency at start, but the results make up for it! Actually now I have gotten used to the smell and frankly, my main concern is the effectiveness anyways.

My skin looks brighter and I am seeing positive difference for sure. My enlarged pores are less noticeable. I will 100% be re purchasing this product again from CDC because they were spot on with their assessment of my skin and their recommendations.

It was very easy to book a appointment. The inside is gorgeous! Looks brand new. The front desk receptionist was very nice and guided me to a waiting room where i met my doctor. I had all my questions answered and got prescription for my condition. Wasnt rushed. Didnt have to wait too long. Was very happy overall. I recommend this clinic!

My experience was lovely at the canadian derm clinic! I gave their chemical peel a try after my friend who had it recommended it. This was my very first ever peel and it was a lot of fun and really got to learn about how it works and what it does. My face is so glowly right now i love it! 5 star!

My experience was very good! I had a suspicious spot on my skin which was spotted when I was at walk in clinic. They referred me here to see a specialist. They took a close look and cut it out and also biopsied it. Luckily it wasn’t anything too serious. Anyhow the process from start to finish and phone call from the doctor reassuring me that everything has been cut out was very good.

I was very impressed with my visit on friday. All the staff were extremely professional. Clinic was very clean and tidy. The doctor spent good chunk of time with me and was able to address my concerns and answer my questions. I would recommend this dermatology centre to anyone looking for dermatologists in Toronto. I had these skin growths in my armpit area which recently started causing irritations from rubbing. I went to a walk in clinic for remedy and they referred me to a special doctor at this clinic. They removed it really quick and it was done! It was too easy. The doctor was fast and super good at what he was doing. Front reception staff were also good. Nurses were as well.

I went in thinking I wanted to do a bit of botox for the first time in my life, but after getting her professional opinion I decided to do botox and a bit of filler (also my first!). It’s been about a month and I am very pleased with my esthetic results. Now i understand why people do this routinely!

I saw Dr Renita for rashes on my tummy area. It comes and goes but was very irritating. Dr renita explained thoroughly what may be causing this and what i can do to mitigate. She also recommended a few things to try and they have been very helpful. I had the chance to ask her all my qs and she answered them all and i didnt feel rushed one bit. She really cares about her patients! I am seeing her again soon in followup which i look forward to.

What a beautiful clinic with fantastic doctors. I saw dr chivers and dr ahluwalia for two separate medical issues and they were both amazing! They helped to address my medical concerns succintly and I would recommend this dermatology clinic to anyone in Toronto. Also, i felt very safe with all the covid precautions measures in place. I got warts removed at this clinic. They do a good job screening everyone for covid status and wearing protective equipments. My wait time wasn’t long at all and the doctor that I saw wasn’t rushed at all. I felt that she made sure all my concerns were addressed and all my questions answered. After seeing my family doctor I was sent to this clinic for my skin condition that just wouldn’t go away. Waited for about 30 mins before getting to see the specialist. Very good experience. All my questions were succinctly answered and I came home with a solid plan. So far so good!

I switched to a new skin care regimen based on Dr Ahluwalia’s recommendations. They are awesome! They make my skin glow i don’t think my skin has ever looked this good. When I went to see her she was patient, super thorough and really explained everything in language that i could understand! Usually i feel super rushed when seeing a doctor but she was different!
