We built a small icf home on a slab in a community more than 2 hrs from home. Its remote so trades are hard to get there. Canadian In-floor Radiant Solution supplied us with a great HTP boiler for our infloor and domestic hotwater. The system is simple but robust and works great. Their support is second to none, recommend

I needed some assistance with designing and purchasing an in-floor heating system. I happened upon Canadian In-Floor through a Google search and reached out to them to discuss my situation. Although my job was at that point purely speculative and to be supply only, Walter took the time to discuss my needs and assist with designing the system. The parts and equipment he eventually sold me are of very good quality and he took the time to explain everything I needed to know along the way. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to my friends.

I don’t understand why Walter (the owner) would get a booth at the Cottage show (where I found out about his company), if he doesn’t seem interested in servicing his systems? I purchased one of his systems towards the end of 2015 for my new-build cottage, and have had several issues with it. Initially, he was somewhat supportive, when it was convenient to his occasional trips up this way, but over the past year+, he doesn’t even return messages. He sold me an HTP on-demand boiler for this system that few other HVAC technicians are familiar with (stating that it was a good brand and very reliable). BRUTAL SERVICE! He also did not provide the outdoor sensor, or the necessary connections for the boiler to be able to clean the domestic hot water side, which two other HVAC technicians told me should have been included with the system.

I reached out for a quote on a new construction project. When I told him that we are interested in an electric boiler, he told me that there is only one company that makes such a thing and it cost 12 times that of a gas boiler. Incorrect.

When I told him we have a 6kw solar installation and are keen to support green energy, he proceeded to inform me of how inefficient my solar system is.

When I told him that we had drawings and asked if he would be interested in bidding for the job, he told me "Look buddy, I'm at my cottage. I tried telling you electric was inefficient. Do you want my help or not? ".

Clearly my answer was not. After contacting dozens of contractors throughout this process, this guy was easily the most arrogant and pretentious of them all. A 3 star rating that he currently has is flattering.

Walter and the team installed a new radiant infloor heating system in my new home last year. They were very knowledgable and gave me a few options to choose from. The work done was professional and they were flexible when other build delays occured. My warm floors feel awesome!

I was driving on the 403 near walkers line in bumper to bumper traffic that was barely moving. I was in the hov with Approx 2 car lengths behind the vehicle in front of me. A pick up was behind me who started honked and swerving to the median. He then proceeded to pass me on the shoulder when I realized he was also pulling a large enclosed trailer. There was barely enough room for him to fit in front of me. Right behind him was a suburban also passing on the shoulder except there wasn't any room for him. He dove the suburban between me and the trailer and was within inches of taking the front end off my car. Both vehicles and trailer were decaled with your company name and info, I am disgusted that anyone let alone someone driving a company vehicle would use such reckless and dangerous driving tactics. When I called the phone number and explained what had happened I was hung up on. From this experience I don't how anyone would allow you to work in their home or business. Horrible brand representation.
