The sod from Independent Sod is fantastic. It is thriving in my garden and looks absolutely fabulous. The service is wonderful very they are friendly and extremely helpful. It was a pleasure dealing with this company.

Bought Sod there. Good quality and much cheaper than Home Depot. Infrastructure needs improvement.

Good sod, reasonably price, purchased during Covid 2021 spring when home depot etc had nothing. Saw alot of contractors and even city of Richmond Hill workers picking up landscaping material and sod. I picked up 20 rolls for my front side lawn, they brought out a fresh pallet for me. Lady operating the phone and cash was pleasant.

We purchased 2 cube yard of triple mix soil. What we received was very poor quality soil that is not suitable for garden or plants. It is very dry and looks like construction soil. We will never buy from

WoW! I have really loved being able to stop in and pick up grass or dirty from this family run business. I am currently in quarantine and wanted to reseed a few patches in my grass. I wanted to order a small bag of seed and a small bag of top soil. I live 1.5 km from Canadian Sod.a 3 minute drive! They want to charge me $65 for delivery! $65! Seriously! I know that delivery is a hassle but I can not leave my house and it would be an additional max 6 minutes for someone to dump a small bag seed and dirt in my yard! Unfortunately this means I will not be supporting this family business. I know my purchases have been minimal but it is unfortunate.

They promised fresh sod for me. But the sod they delivered to me was totally terrible. No fresh at all. They lie to small customer.

Decent local source for sod, fertilizer and soil. Probably not the lowest cost but good quality. Been here few times and quality and service was consistent. A better choice than local home improvement shops.
