Aunty at the return counter is so rude. I bought air mattress from Canadian tire (mclaughlin and bovaird) at 10: 40 and come to return that at this location at 12: 00. I was not aware that these items has to go to same store from we purchase. And lady said whyyyy are youuu here.

Today I went this place, staff in customer care, carvin she gave me hard time to me, she was rude too but other staff in other counter was very helpful name Taran. I was there for return the product but she attained other customer who is after me, may she know to him. After him she told me this item is not refundable you can exchanged with other item. I came with the two items she exchanged one item and asked me to pay the difference amount, I requested to please take another item and I will pay total but said go to another counter. This just simply scanned the price only. But she is not willing to do so. I went to another counter and lined up again it take time. I requested to management please take care customers service.

They make return process so over complicated and almost impossible to return anything. You are questioned like a criminal and they look at you suspiciously. After all the interrogation, they break the news that they can only exchange as the item was not purchased from their store. Never waste time torturing return anything. Only buy why you absolutely need and can not find elsewhere. Always bad customer service consistently.

They charge $25 + $5 per tire for air. Claimed that they needed to inspect the tires for where they were leaking from. Thing is.the tires weren't leaking, its simply been cold and because metal contracts faster than rubber.they lose pressure over time and use.

Took my car to Kal Tire instead. Much better service and don't charge for what's not needed.

I bought a pool filter, was wrong size, came back the next day, although i did misplace the reciept, i came back with all the items that was purchased.the female manager short lightskin with dreads, was very rude, and provided no sort of assistance.so i got stuck with a wrong size filter.if it was walmart, and the package is not opened, and just bought the day before, a exchange is not a problem. NEVER AGAIN

Pathetic service.
The boy I asked for help first was busy helping other people while ignoring me completely and stood me up for 10 mins like I have all the time in the world.
At least keep educated and helping staff who wants to do their job and not just come to work with dead and least interested faces.
That boy will bring your business down because of his pathetic customer service.

5 hours wait to install new winter tires and align it. Started at 8am went they open until 1: 00pm. Waiting room does not even have coffee? I will never go back to that place for any service. Company big as Canadian Tire does not even customer service is not acceptable.

I just visited the auto department to cut keys I used the self serve machine and it didn't print a receipt. I waited in line to ask a employee there and met Vern. I asked for a quick question and his response was " do I have a quick question about auto parts or because he has to get back to another client. I took 5 secs and responded thank you for your service. And he walked away! I then waited for another lady inthat department and she went to find another employee, who told me I had to call a number on the machine to get a receipt wow.

Friendly staff here. Usually canadian tire half of time staff just direct you different aisles and you have yo run around to find your stuff. This canadian tire is different when it comes down to customer service.

I tried to exchange a faulty Mastercraft 8-Outlet Power Bar today (I bought 2 of them about 3 days prior). I spoke to the customer service rep and was told to bring the faulty one (things plugged in are loose) and get a new one to the cashier. Grabbed a new one and went to the cashier. The cashier told me to go to customer service but I replied I had just had come from there and she helped me nicely. After passing through the cashier I opened my new power bar and tried testing it before going out (by plugging it to itself) and one of the outlet covering came off exposing the wiring. Went back to the Customer Service rep and showed her that and told her if I can exchange it again. I went and grabbed a new one testing it (once again plugging it to itself) along the way and the same thing happened again. An outlet covering popped off. I went back to the customer service rep and showed it to her to which she replied "You can't be doing this. " with a quite negative tone of voice which felt like being accused of intentionally damaging the product. This had troubled me but I said if I could just get a refund instead as the power bars could be poor in quality (and I no longer wish to take much time) to which the customer service rep said that I must go back to the end of the line (there was already a long queue and my mother and I already finished our purchase). My mother heard this exchange which resulted her being upset on my behalf (I tried to calm her down but she was greatly offended for me). Essentially raising the issue to the manager. The manager was quite professional in handling the issue which was a stark contrast to the customer service rep. I explained that I am not intentionally damaging the products (Mastercraft 8-Outlet Power Bars) and was testing its quality by just plugging it to itself (parts should not be coming off if you are plugging devices in to the outlets of the power bar). You may check the authenticity of my claims by the security cameras and perhaps do a quality check on all including the ones I returned a few minutes between each other that the Mastercraft 8-Outlet Power Bars where 3 of 5 I have encountered today were faulty, things plugged in are loose, and the outlet cover pops off all the while testing these in store. This incident occurred today November 19,2021 at Canadian Tire Shoppers World Brampton. (I know its on sale but quality should not diminish along with price). I do not wish to further escalate this matter but I write in hope that there will both be excellent service and products in the future.

This is an horrible store with super arrogant staff. My experience is so bad that i still remember being treated disrespectfully from back in January 2020.

I went to the store to get Car floor matts. I had a question since i was new to how they fit and all. First i was scrambling to find someone to help, then on top of that when i found someone, the lady shouted at me, whattt. I politely asked if she could help me with car matts and this is all they have and quickly ran away. She was extremely rude and looked like why i was in the store. Horrible. I was amazed of how unwanted i was in the store.
Will never visit this Canadian Tire store in Shoppers world.

Canadian tire, if you are wondering why your store is doing bad. This is probably one of the reasons!

To be honest, I never shop there but the new general manager Jamie Lapensee used to be my second boss at the Canadian tire 264, he was a operations manager at Agincourt Ontario. He is such a nice guy and I know he will be a great manager at this location.

I am bit late to post this review. I visited this location on Sunday 11/14/2021 looking for a wiper for my car. I was helped by this nice gentleman name ANDREW (not sure if I got the name correct). I am really hoping he get some sort of appreciation for his hard work and kindness. Thank You Andrew:) for helping me out:)

This store is located at a very good place, nearby Sheridan college and bus stop. You can get almost everything here. Good quality, beautiful and with discounts. Bigger discounts in Black Friday. Christmas decorations are really nice and if you visit there, surely you will buy something. There is also vacancy for all positions if anyone is in need.

Big store with different sections. Some regular seasonal automobile items were not placed at proper place, like I was looking for blind spot mirror which I have found after 30 mints of hustle. So they have to place seasonal items in different SEASONAL racks to get them easily.

After browsing through the housewares department and picking up what I need, I got to the cashier realizing they don’t stock shelves properly.

Picked up an item and even matched the sizing on the shelf tag to make sure there wasn’t an issue and it scanned for the wrong price.
I explained there were many in that spot under that tag, which the housewares staff confirmed then fixed, but the manager at the cash did not honour the price.

Decided to go back and choose another one because it was on sale, to have it scanned wrong at the cash AGAIN even after someone was there to fix products on the wrong shelf.

They used the excuse that customers move things around. But I refuse to believe customers are putting full shelves of items in different areas and right after a staff member was there? Give me a break. Poor excuses.

Then even after the second time it scanned wrong it wasn’t honoured and refused to do it.
What a waste of time. They are making up their own rules as they go at this point.

They have the scanning code of practice which they would not hold to. So reporting it to the BBB is probably my best bet.

It’s very frustrating shopping for a while to realize things are the wrong price and you’ve just wasted your time.

Canadian tires across the nation are poorly run and managed. Outdated systems that run on as400 with inaccurate inventory counts which is also another thing I’ve experienced here multiple times.

This review won’t change much. But I hope the next people who experience what I’ve experienced, voice out too so that they fix it.

It’s all a numbers game and not actually providing customer service or quality products.

I don't think I've ever wrote a negative review but I had one of the most bizarre retail experiences at this location. I went to the store to return 1 of 5 items I had purchased. As me and my wife were walking towards the store, we were aggressively approached by a man in the parking lot (who said he was the owner) and immediately accused of stealing. His first words to us were "did I not just see you walk out of the store with that" when in fact we had bought the item earlier in the day. When he realized we didn't just walk out, he then started accusing us of trying to scam the store by saying "you know my staff is going to open that box up when you go inside"

When we went inside the store I insisted that the customer service rep (who was super respectful and helpful) open the box to check that everything was inside. At this point the "owner" came to try explaining the situation and why he approached us the way he did. My basic assumption is he judged us on how we looked and jumped to conclusions. Simply put, a store like Canadian Tire should not be approaching a customer in the parking lot, rather, just open the box at the returns desk like any other big box store would and inspect it.

To be treated this way after having spent just under $400 at the store was extremely disrespectful. I would never step foot in this store again and would encourage others to avoid as well

I Just came to this store for curb side pickup. Be advised that that does not exist at this location. You need to park and physically go into the store and wait in line like everyone else to pick up your order. They don’t tell you this online. They also do not answer their phone lines if you try calling for information. Also the girl at customer service directed me through a gate but neglected to open it. I walked into it and bruised my leg pretty badly. When I told her what happened she didn’t even apologize. I’d recommend not visiting this location. They are not following any covid protocols.

Bought a bike from another store.
I needed bike ti be assembled.
Came by one day and asked representative.
He said yes they will assemble it.
Came in today and another representative said they fo not assemble bikes from different stores.
If your representatives do not know something, have they remain silent or direct guests to someone that actually knows what they're doing.
This has costed me money. I left the bike at the front of the store. Free bike.

Not too busy the day I visited. I needed synthetic oil for my vehicle. 2 gentlemen helped me out. One was technically off duty and still they helped me. Very grateful to both. Marcy served me at the checkout counter. She was sweet and attentive, even though she most likely spent all day ringing out customers. Store is clean and masks and sanitizers available at the entrance.

Refused to credit/exchange unopened garden products which weigh 54kg for other items I needed for work due to Covid stay home order (expected to keep it stored for 28 days!). Was happy to take my business to Walmart. The corporation needs to review management here is caring for business revenue and customer satisfaction. They lost a sale of 625 Litres of Scott's turf dirt and their attitude costed me nearly $6 extra than if bought from their store plus the gas. Also quickly exchanged a broken dethatcher opened out of store when dealt with in person even though I didn't buy insurance for it the day before. Mid-star for now.

If you order curbside pickup make sure you arrive before 6pm as thats was the cutoff time for when I made my last purchase. While I do not blame the staff, and management, the Canadian Tire Corporation can definitely do better by mentioning curbside hours on the website and/or conformation emails so you're not wasting your time. Beyond that, staff was friendly and super helpful and didn't hesitate to answer questions

I have placed online order for curbside pickup. As expected their should be proper facility and location but on arrival i found that they don't offer curbside pickup at all.i wonder whats the fun of doing online shopping with canadian tire if they can provide curbside pickup while their is an option for this on every canadian tire store. I really don't recommend this store at all to anyone.

Ordered product online for curbside pickup. Got to the store they told me to go into the customer service desk to pickup my order. Went in, there were about 10 people in a very tight space with very little distancing. Wanted 15 minutes for them to find my order of 2 items. While I waited there was a continuous flow of people by me in an aisle not 3 feet wide.
Haven't felt this uncomfortable during the whole pandemic.
Called the manager to see why they didn't have curbside pickup. She said the garden centre is open so you have to come into the store to pickup your items.
I replied I will never be back.

On today's visit it was a disappointment. The store was still displaying a discontinued model on the shelf and there was no inventory.
Overall the store was well marked ro help with social distancing. Staff was available for assistance.

Shoppers World - I ordered online a wardrobe and you know what they sold it before i picked it. I was shocked to listen this. Moreover i was not compensated for this. Just got refund and said bye bye. Ipurchased same n paid 30.dollars.extra. Hoorifying experience.

Not bad customer service. But Clifford Dias never has a straight answer. Always feel like I'm being conned when I talk to him. He holds up the line because he never gets to the point. I find people end up asking more questions after hes done talking rather then feeling sure about the answer.

Enderly need to be careful. They make u at 55 60 years old leave your bag or back pack at customer service like your some child in high school. Who going to rob the store. Even if u have meds that you need to have on you at all times. Shop somewhere else. There is better respect for our elderly at other canadian tire stores.

Showed up Saturday, December, 8th to purchase a bicycle. We found the one we were looking for on the top of the racks, and requested help getting it down, and then waited. We waited while the woman "helping" us spoke about inner tubes to another customer for 10 minutes, we waited while she wandered around sporting goods next to us, and we waited while she sharpened skates. Suffice it to say we didnt wind up getting the bike, but they clearly didnt want our money, message received Canadian Tire, I'll stick to other stores.

Worst experience ever. Understaffed and don’t know what they are doing. Sent me to counter to counter to counter back and forth person to person. One repersentive would tell me I have to do this and send me to another counter. Then another rep would tell me I would have to do something totally different and go to another counter. Took me 3.5 hrs just to purchase tires. Do not visit this place unless you have alll day to waste running back and forth. Very unprofessional and will not visit again. If they knew what they were doing I would have been in and out in less than 20 mins. If you are looking to purchase tires don’t make mistake of going here i would recommend Costco or princess auto P.s they don’t even deserve the one star.

I am only rating my Customer Service experience with Chris from the automotive service department today. After a frustrating couple of days calling this location and Canadian Tire Customer Service to track down new tires I bought (no one was willing to help at all or even look into my inquiry) I spoke to a Chris and he went above and beyond. He was polite, professional and friendly, but also obviously very knowledgeable. He tracked down my order (which actually wasn’t entered correctly so it wouldn’t have gone through as expected) had my tires brought to the store the same day and had them installed. After numerous very disappointing experiences with Canadian Tire I just had to shout out Chris and his wonderful customer service. It is so appreciated. Thank you again.

My father went to this location with today and I have never been so pissed about how a business deals with a customer in my life. My father ordered and paid for two toolboxes from this location back in June.

Between my father and I, we have gone there several times to try and pick them up. Each time we went, we were told that a manager had to release them to us and that they would give us a call when it was ready.

On Wednesday October 31st, he finally got a call saying that he could go pick them up. My father went on Friday, November 2nd before work; however, when he went to get them, an employee there kept trying to multitask between bringing my father's toolboxes out and putting a battery into a key. He took so long on the latter task that my father went to have a look, this employee was struggling to the point that my father even offered to do it for him so that he could bring out the rest of his items. The employee declined and my father left the store empty-handed.

When he went today, my father was denied his order by this toddler-sized man, who was either a poor excuse of a manager or masquerading as one. This toddler told my father that as far as he was concerned he picked up his items yesterday and that he would need to review the surveillance video to confirm it.

A normal manager, would at least try and find out if the employee who was supposed to help my father was scheduled today to streamline the process. But no, not this toddler, he actually had the nerve to call my father racist when he described the employee as a white guy with glasses. Friends, when you don't know someone's name, is describing the person not the next best thing? Apparently not with this kid. (No, no.you can't do that, it's racist).

When my father started to raise his voice, this toddler-sized "manager", had the nerve to say, "if you don't lower your voice we're done! ". Excuse you! Money was paid out for this items in full. What do you mean we're done? We're done only after 1) The money is refunded or 2) he gets the stuff he paid for. He definitely thought and thought wrong.

I can't wait until Monday because after the surveillance video is reviewed, I hope the toddler-sized "manager" chokes on those damn toolboxes. This has been 5 months of stupidity. If I could give negative stars I definitely would. I will not be going back to this location and I would advise people, if the item you want is not in stock at the location, DID NOT order from them.

To does, who wants purchase new tires? Don't buy Michelin tires. It's not the same tires what was in the past. It's a joke! The quality is a joke and the way they handle the costumers is a joke! I got my Michelin Premier LTX for mi Toyota Sienna 2015 and the tire wear out after 4 months of driving and maybe 10k km. The rubber is so soft that tread looks like it's rolling down, there’s chunks of rubber hanging. You can see them on the pictures. The 100 000 km warranty it's a scam. Michelin told me to go to authorize Michelin dealer I went to Canadian tire for inspection. After one hour of inspection the try to found that something was wrong in my car but everything was right, the alignment was right the suspension was OK and the only thing that they found was that my tire pressure was 38 psi and recommend pressure is 36 psi. The written down that over pressure of the tire caused this wear out even that on tire sees 45 psi max is allowed. So when i send this inspection to Michelin they of course respond to mi "We appreciate you providing this information to us. However, the report from Canadian Tire states that the uneven and rapid wear that your tires are experiencing to cause the issues you are having, are due to the tires being overinflated"

I purchased a bike from this store in July 2017 for my son - it has been giving nothing but problems from the first 2 weeks of my son riding this bike.

From the chain to the breaks all the way to the pedals.

I've done repairs with this store and the same issues keep occurring but they refuse to return the bike.

Last week my son was riding and the pedal fell off, he had a horrible fall of his bike and I'm at a point of frustration.

I was told to contact the bikes manager, Kim but she's never available to speak too.

The customer service rep was completely rude and useless.

I'm not sure what type of faulty products are being sold at this location but I have never in my life experienced these types of issues with a bike and I've had mine for 10 years - this bike is a year old.

Furthermore; as a consumer, I don't feel Canadian Tire has trained their employees with proper customer service etiquette because no one is willing to help or solve this problem.

I'm beyond frustrated with this company and will definitely advise all of my family and friends to never purchase anything from this store ever again.

For the times I needed to get tools and parts from the store, they have either carried the products or been able to direct me to another location and called the other location to help get the product placed on hold without any hassles. Sales associates have been friendly and easy to locate throughout the store.

Store contains a huge variety of things. It is rather crowded. However got my first product at a delightful discount.
