I’m gonna start with a Big ThankYou to these two Professionals Upreet Bath & Hemil Rajput! My experience at Canadian tire was very Pleasant thanks to the Helpfulness and courtesy offered by these two employees. I obviously expect a lot when I enter the doors of a large establishment as I know I will be paying a pretty penny for my purchases and the staff attitude and willingness to assist is very important to me. Without going into the details of my transactions I can safely say you’re in safe hands when you go to Canadian Tire in Meadowvale Mississauga. Very efficient/Good product Knowledge and No Fuss with Returns and Exchange. Wishing great success to the establishment and these two and other employees at this Branch…. 5 ️️️️️

I am very disappointed with Canadian Tire services and my suggestion is to improve the way to deal with the customers. In less than one year I changed the brake pads with roaters, now i got shake when pressing brake. All under warranty, but they asked me for high amount (more than actual price) $ to change that. Unbelievable, I was very loyal to Canadian Tire, but unfortunately this experience makes me feel bad and I’m starting dealing with private mechanic shop in Dixie road with amazing services.
All my respect to Canadian Tire staff and my notes is for enhancing quality services don’t take it personally.

I purchased a set of brand new Continental Winter Contact SI Plus tires online and had them installed at this location. After the tires were installed I saw that they were 4 years old (this was my first opportunity to check the tires). I then requested a refund to which they said that they don't do refunds on tires that are already installed.

Great location. Nice staff, very friendly and happy to get or help you with what you need. Check out line got a little long but they quickly set up another cashier and got things moving.

This store almost always has what I need at a decent price. BAG CHECK. New owners as of last fall. Now require you to check in your bags. A lot of smaller stores have it. Closed bags I understand. But WHY AN OPEN WAGON. I was shopping with it and you can see thru it like a shopping cart. But “store policy” states that as well needs to check that. What I REALLY don’t appreciate is being FOLLOWED until I checked it. You guys seem to be VERY worried about shoplifting. This economy. Small objects. Maybe the customers aren’t the problem. Especially being in a rush and shopping with all this happening. I’d suggest checking yourselves because I don’t appreciate this. I actually felt like I was almost being profiled. And another ethnicity will accuse you of it. This is BS. NO OTHER BIG STORE DOES THIS!

I feel untrusted at the cash register. I bought nuts and bolts (you write down the item numbers and quantities on a plastic bag) and the person at the cash register did not accept the quantity I wrote down. She had to count each item to confirm I wasn't stealing anything. Of course I wasn't. I miss the old Canadian Tire where they trusted their customers.

Canadian Tire absolutely doesn’t care about customer service. I had ordered a Christmas Tree Online and paid Cad 22 as shipping charges. The next thing I know is that I get a Notice Card from Canada Post saying I need to go to the post office and pick up my item myself. Why should I pay Cad 22.99 dollars as shipping charges to eventually pick up the tree myself and incur additional charges. When I call the customer service, they mentioned it’s not their problem and I need to follow up with Canada Post on why they did that and they have nothing to do with this (in spite of the fact that they chose Canada Post as their shipper). The customer service representative didn’t seem to care at all and was quite rude! She also mentioned that they don’t guarantee that the item will be shipped to my doorstep. I’m sorry but I didn’t see that mentioned anywhere while I agreed to pay the shipping charges. Canadian Tire should put a disclaimer about this while placing an order so that the person placing the order can make an informed decision making the purchase. This is unacceptable!

Went in for fly traps. Asked a sales associate. She literally told me "I don't work in that department, you're going to need to find it yourself" and then walked away. Obviously I didn't wind up buying a single thing and likely won't be coming back.

Curbside pick up service is excellent, much faster than going in person shopping. Placed my order Thursday morning, received notification for pick 10pm, arrive er Friday at 9: 39 am, checked in on the app and received my order within 15 minutes. Too much congestion inside the aisle. Shop it on line for curbside.

Worst service! I have never seen a worst auto department like this. They don’t respect your time. They booked me 6PM appointment for winter tire change and gave back my car around 10: 30. When asked, there was no proper response. The guy named Hassan is not kind or responsible enough to the customers and he was very rude. He don’t give a damn to our queries. If the management really concerns about customer satisfaction, please do something about this. I will never go again to this store. This is the 4 th time it’s happening and they are not improving

HORRIBLE customer service at this branch. Came in to return a heater since realized it was too small when I received it. The cashier kept saying she will only give a store credit since its used. Kept saying we never opened it. If you can't seal your boxes before selling them, dont blame the customers for havjng used them. When we told the cashier that they have the worse customer service, she said 'Thank you'. Never coming back here.

Their repair shop is the worse I have ever been.
They are incredibly disorganized. The staff was not polite. If you get an appointment it doesn't mean anything. Be ready to sit there for hours while listening the phone ringing non stop and no one ever picks it up.
They repaired my tire with a patch did not explain what caused it. I had to bring it back 2 days later and then they refused to fix it again after waiting for 3h after the appointment time. Was ripped off and treated badly. Never coming back.

This location is a joke. They show something is in stock online. I go to the store and spend 30 minutes checking seasonal where you think artifical turf would be and aisle 34 which I was told it would be there. After calling the SAME guy back to help me I'm told it's "packed away" at the back and he cant get it for me. Maybe update your website to show that's it's "packed away and not accessible" instead of wasting my time.

Boy oh boy.they were setting up all shelving for Christmas. YAHOO. Good bargains to be found. Helpful staff.

People at the car service some look fresh grads. They have little knowledge and experience in costumer service and fixing cars. I only had to changeover my winter tires but it took me almost 6hrs there waiting with my kids. I asked a young guy at the counter why my car was still outside 2hrs past my schedule while watching other cars come in and out, only then they found out my form was not at the line up for service but was left at the counter where I paid 2hrs past. Only then after they took my car from the parking lot. He tried to deny it and was telling me it took that long because the shop was busy, he was not even sorry and the way he talked to costumers was so arrogantly rude. This is not the first time I had arguement with an employee at the car service but several times before. They're arrogant, dishonest and rude! I will not go in this branch for car service anymore and not recommend my friends to go here!

One of the better and clean/organized Canadian Tire's around. Bought a treadmill, picked up from the back with little wait time. Overall, great store.

Booked my Tire change appointment showed up at the to right time and was told there is no appointment. Twice

Good place great staff, practice good Covid protocol, bit finicky on returns in my experience from the past. Great curbside delivery process!

Staff twice pointed me to the wrong aisle, didn't care. New signs up scolding people about what line to use (exclamation points and underlines are for friends or criminals, guys)

This location has the best customer experience Canadian Tire has to offer. The employees know their job and are super helpful. The shop is well stocked and although the curb side delivery during the peak of covid was not the best, this location shines during normalcy.

I recently spent over $400 on storage solutions at Canadian Tire Meadowvale (way more than pictured below). One of the multi-compartment containers was cracked (it had come in a 3 pack). I had already loaded up the other two storage containers with thousands of little pieces and didn't want to empty them. But that shouldn't be a problem.so I headed to the store with the cracked item and receipt looking for a replacement. Nope, not in stock. Ok, no problem.then I would like a refund. Nope, I'd have to bring the other 2 back. Ok, that isn't going to happen as I'm not going to remove the thousands of little bits I stored in them (remember? $400 in storage containers from CT, because I needed to store things!). Ok, no problem, please just refund the $7 for this one broken container (the 3-pack was $21). Nope, nope, nope, she wouldn't budge. Basically nothing, she had no solution and was just done with it. “Sorry I can't help” she says. Nope, manager lady, you could have easily helped, you just chose not to, and here we are (I don't know the managers name because she refused to write it down for me). This may seem petty over $7 but I feel I wasn't asking for much to rectify this issue, but based on principality alone I have lost confidence in CT. I'll just buy my stuff elsewhere so I don't have to argue over a $7 defective item that was clearly damaged from the store. I expected more from you Canadian Tire.but in the end, it's the manager who failed on this one.

Visited this store twice and experienced really poor customer service with rude staff both times. Please fix your attitude! Makes me not want to shop at CT.

This Canadian Tire is slowly earning back my trust. Years ago we had horrid experiences here with a number of purchases and car appointments but recently the service has been good. The store is large and organized. The staff helpful and knowledgeable. We haven't had cars serviced here in a decade though so can't speak to that.

Great place for hardware needs and some bbq stuff. Cleaned and well organized, stock count is usually accurate per website. Bought plenty of car maintenance gear from here and it's pretty solid and good quality. Some things are hit and miss when it comes to prices as prices are insane when it comes to some equipment like different wrenches/sockets/adapters. I would never buy these kits from here that's how overpriced those are.
Earlier summer I bought the pack of 6 growing peppers. It was advertised as 2 of each colour (red, green and yellow peppers). To my great disappointment all of them were green. Deceiving and false advertising is very dishonourable.
Customer service is friendly and helpful

Frustrating experience. Did a price match w another CT store (should they not all be the same price?) That took for ever and was eventually resolved but.

Canadian tire did my 2014 Honda Accord oil change and tire change over. First of all they didn’t check my tire pressure which is safety concern
And they didn’t check visual inspection of my brakes
They only try to tell that you need change some filters and some other thing which makes them money. Now because they didn’t tell me about my brakes I have to spend $500-600 extra for the calliper and rotors. My advice to anyone is that Canadian tire charge same money as dealer ship or more and for that reason you should take your car to dealership.

So I called the corporate number to see what they can do. I gave them all the information and now all of a sudden Canadian tire are telling me they have all the information about my car checked the pressure and advised me to do certain things. But all these were ignored when we called before and none being disclosed to me. It’s not that this is my first time in Canadian tire and I know what I’m doing when I take my car to do servicing. All I can say is that Canadian tire didn’t provide me with right information at that time and because of that I had spent money else where.

I tried the Auto service twice, and I ended fighting with them both times. They lie, they are not honest, they sell wrong items. There is guy there I don't know his name but seems like a technical supervisor, at both times he had the same attitude, he blames you or accuse you being a liar. Very very bad service. I will never ever do auto at CT again. The auto team at CT in Meadowvale must change, all of them.

Every time i come for service I find myself paying more than was quoted. A simple tire purchase of 600 + 120 installation cost me 4 hours of my life and $200 dollars more because of hidden stuff like their warranty I never agreed to and "highly recommend wheel alignment".

Like Canadian Tire for many things specially when they're on sale. Swimming pool supplies are very well priced. Garden centre at this location is better than other locations.

This is a great place if you know just what you're looking for but forget it if you need help. There is no assistance available, it seems the workers are just there to stock shelves!

This is a very good store and they have a lot of things. They have a lot of sales going on all the time. The only downside is the thing that there tend to be a bit pricey.

Response to Cdn. Tire's response below: Nope not calling you because I don't believe it'll amount to anything. You need to spend more time in your own stores. Canadian Tire used to be a good place to shop, now your stores are chronically understaffed. If you can find a staff member on the floor, they never proactively ask you if you need help, and many of them actually avoid eye contact, because God forbid, they might have to speak to a customer. I bought what I needed on Amazon.

Well thanks for waiting everyone's time. You show your store opens at 8am. I'll sit here and wait with the dozens of customers waiting for the store to open at 9am.

The manager and responsible person is very rude and it was long line up for returning and the people under rain. There’s only one guy for returning with very slow motion

Very clean and organized store. Has a Walmart type of vibe. Updated with modern signs. It was very easy to find what I needed and this store seems to have a great selection of product. Very happy with my experience here.

I needed hunting pellets and they couldn't get me a pack ready because of age restrictions. I took my business to Sail, my favorite outdoors store. They asked for my age and address to be confirmed by my identification upon pickup. Canadian Tire is becoming worse and worse as I grow up.

I went yesterday June 17th 2021 to repair a flat tire, I provided all my details as they requested such as full name, full address, phone number, care make and model, plate number and even the color.after over an hour waiting, I received a call from someone in the service asking me to come to see the car, when I went inside, his recommendations was to change the 4 tires with new ones as they are old and the flat tire is not repairable, when I refused he said that's fine and I will wait for few minuets to get my key back and he will speak with the shift manager to wave any charges. I wasn't informed or told that there is an inspection fee when I provided all my details in the beginning.
He came back to me and said that the manager refused to wave the charges but I can speak with him if I want.
When I went inside to speak with the manager (Mike) I started my conversation with him in a nice way saying my friend why you are charging me for a job it was not done and I was shocked from the way he answered, he looked at me and said in a very aggressive way and almost yelled at me saying I AM NOT YOUR FRIEND AND YES THERE IS A CHARGE HAS TO BE PAID, IF YOU DON'T WANT TO PAY LEAVE BUT YOU WONT GET YOUR KEYS.
I decided to go to the office and speak with the employee and try to understand why I was not informed that there is a charge for inspection even if they can't repair the problem, Mike came inside and requested the 2 employees not to refund me anything and each time I tried to tell him that I am not talking to him right now, he kept yelling saying OUR SHIFT IS FINISH GO OUT AND COME BACK MONDAY FOR YOUR CAR.
I was forced to pay to take my car to go home and look for another place to repair it.
Mike is extremely unprofessional person, he shouldn't deal with any human being, he has no sense what can be said and can't be said.
I should listen to my friends from the beginning and go elsewhere but unfortunately I didn't.
Your place is not recommended at all.

Prices may not be the cheapest but they are within walking distance from my house and they always seem to have what I want for my car, home, and garden - and no crowds.

Giving a shout out to the curb side pickup team. Multiple pickups from this location, super fast and friendly service each time. Very impressed! Like another reviewer mentioned, other hardware stores and even other Canadian Tire locations could learn from this store. Thank you and keep up the great work!

Disappointed. Really poor customer service, for 15 minutes there was only one cash counter open and people were waiting, then that cashier also disappeared.

While waiting in queue I asked one staff member could you please have one more counter open. To my utter dismay she very rudely replied I AM NOT CASHIER.

Well so what? You work in this store, At least have the common sense to get it communicated. Horrible customer service, they lost me as a customer. Will not return, home depot is way better, well trained polite staff.

Canadian tire is always a great store. The meadowvale store is well organized. You will find the things stocked and readily. The only issue is that they should have good people at the customer service. They could work on that a little bit.

Staff on the sales floor are not very helpful or friendly at all. The only friendly area is the customer service desk and cash.

Very slow service. Curb side pickup needs better organization. To have to wait 15 minutes (with no one else around, so it's not just a matter of waiting my turn) and then I have to go into the store to finally get my package, should not be acceptable. And not so much as even an apology, shows poor customer service.

Some of the staff are very rude and disrespectful. I had an awful incident today with one of them, and will not be coming back.

Their website is misleading as well, I went to get an extension cord, it says on the website that it's medium duty, only to find out at the store that it's actually light duty. What a waste of time. What's the point of a website if the info on it has no credibility?

Went to do an oil change. The wait time was too long, waited almost an hour for my oil change to be completed. The guys up the street usually will get it done within 10-15 min. 2 stars because of long wait.

Our car wouldnt start one morning so my husband brought the car in for a battery change and was told it shouldn't be too long - this was at 10: 30am. After checking the car they told him he was going to have to change the alternator belt as well so we agreed to change it thinking we had to have it done or the car wouldn't run - it cost us $500. He was told it would be an hour.he didn't get to leave Canadian Tire until 5: 30pm! HE WAITED AT THE STORE FOR 7 HOURS! Everytime he went to get an update he was told "it will be another hour". Then we started reading about the countless fraudulent activities happening at Canadian Tire auto centres with people being ripped off and lied to about what their cars needed and we really started to worry. Needless to say I will be bringing my car in to our regular mechanic to have it checked thoroughly to make sure that what we were sold was legitimate. Regardless of this, it is completely unacceptable to leave someone waiting for 7 HOURS and consistently lying to them about the wait times! We will never be giving them our business again.

It's an ok store. If I didn't have the app to tell me aisle something is in, I probably wouldn't come at all. Sometimes they're cheaper than Amazon, but not always.

Terrible experience with the automotive department today. Brought my vehicle in at 10: 30am and left at 5: 20pm. Was initially told 30 minutes and then never received another update on timing. When I asked for an update (twice) I was clearly not told the truth based on the progress and service request (an hour of work). I saw other similarly frustrated customers, who experienced issues with their service in addition to slow service with no communication. Avoid this place for auto needs unless you don't value time or your vehicle.

It has everything and sometimes great clearance offers. The staff is mixtured. Some are awsome, some have no idea what helping is.

Bad no enough people to ask questions about product. I wait for about 35 min. To as a single question at customer services.

Went to buy skates for my boy around 8: 30PM last night and knew nothing about what I had to buy, so I asked a guy named Nathan for help. Many times. He was awesome and helped me get everything I needed before the store closed. 5 Stars for Nathan's service.

The store is really well kept too and the 2 women at customer service were incredibly nice and helpful to me as-well. A+

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. We spent $1000+ on new winter tires, rims, and labour to change them, and booked an appointment to have them changed a week and a half later. The day finally came, and we decided to go in a half hour early to have the car available to them to work on. When we went to check in, we were told the store did not have our tires (that we already paid for prior). We were told simply "we will call you whenever we have them". We asked if any other Canadian Tires in the area have them, and they offered that if they do we would have to go get them ourselves. Secondly, we offered taking another set of similarly priced tires; they offered that if that happened, we would have to pay the difference, or take cheaper tires. After going to speak to his manager about covering the difference, 30 mins after we initially walked up to the counter; he came back to tell us that the store did in fact have our tires (?). We were slightly confused but glad the issue was resolved, and gave him the keys. He told us he'd call in an hour and a half. 3 hours go by and we decide to just show up; we see that nothing has been done on the car to this point. When asking when it will be done, he gave us 20 minutes and said " the mechanic does not have time to only work on your car". We understood this but had an appointment booked, to simply change the tires, and were told it would take max an hour and a half. We waited 20 minutes (3 and a half hours since we gave them the vehicle) and were told it was still not done. When we asked what was happening and when it would be done, they rudely dismissed us and said it will be done 'soon'. We asked to speak to the mechanic specifically and told us 'it was being done', but couldn't even point out OUR VEHICLE in the garage. We told him that it had been (at this point, nearly 4 hours), and he simply said "ok we're doing it". Another mechanic IMMEDIATELY ran to put them on; 7 minutes later the car is done and in the parking lot. Not a single employee apologized or offered anything in the way of assurance, and it simply adds to the bad stigma against mechanics and Canadian Tire automotive specifically.

The deals are not great and much worse as compared to other competitive stores like Walmart.

Updating my review to 5* Ruth from the garden centre is so knowledgeable. Gave me a ton of help and info for the care of orchids.

Bad auto service. Incompetence + scam behavior.went there to get my brake checked, because it was stiff to press down.

An hour, and after the 90 dollars inspection, the mechanic said that the previous mechanic didn't do a good job, and that the brake are not installed properly. He gave a proposal to change pads, rotors, calipers, and brake fluid flush.total quote $1500.00. Said they'd wave the 90 dollars if I went ahead with the suggested fix.

I got a second mechanic to take a look at it.turns out the rubber mat was blocking the brake pedal. Guess it got pushed up under the pedal somehow, and caused the stiff brakes.the consultation was free and entire diagnosis and fix took less than 5 minutes.

Sure glad I didn't listen to Canadian Tire's advice.

Automotive dept. -
I had winter tires put on here. Service charge of $200. Not really well explained. I booked an appointment a day before and from once I dropped off my car it took 2 hours until I was able to pick it up.

Just got my daughter skates here. The selection was better than in other stores near me and the staff was super nice and helpful. My daughter loves her new skates. Thank you everyone for your help.

Well stocked facility. Went to pick up a pre-ordered item. Quick service. But it's boxing day evening, virtually deserted.

If you want to get your tires installed, get ready for waiting for more than 4hours after the time they said it would be ready.don't even try to call them to ask about your car because they will not answer your calls or they will just ask you to wait and then end the call.

For a place called “Canadian TIRE” the tire service is surprisingly bad. Booking an appointment over phone to put on my winter tires was impossible as no one picks up. I had to go physically to try book an appointment and of course waiting in line for around 20 min to speak with the staff. No appointments available but until after around a week with no guarantee of time to take back my car. The lady advised to drop the car on the spot to get the tires changed and that it should finish by eveing. Of course it did not finish and now its the second day they still have my car and not answering phone!

Go to smaller businesses rather than big names.

Hey it's Canadian Tire - Great sales every week. Well stocked Store and Staff are very helpful. I do not get my vehicle serviced at Canadian Tire and therefore my review does not include vehicle repairs - always seems to be too much drama going on over there. The best part? The Hotdog Guy Outside - Best Street Meat in Meadowvale!

Horrible communication with customers, I bought winter tires from here wanted to get it installed there because it just more convenient to do so, anyways I make an appointment to get my tires installed I show up to my appointment on time and then I leave my car with the for 4 hours and they dont even touch my car its just standing there and they didn’t even bother to tell me it was just standing ther while I could’ve just found another place if they told me from the beginning. Horrible communication skills I would not recommend won’t be returning for anything that has to do with tires, ironic how they have “tires” in their name what a joke.
