If you’re looking for help in the parts department good luck,
every single person behind that parts and service counter are not knowledgeable about anything automotive.
It’s not the employees fault it is whoever gave them that position.

I was at the Alcona store Jan 19/24 around noon. The cashier didn't acknowledge me at all. I felt like I was interrupting her break time, as we spoke to another co worker about her resent vacation. The only time she stopped talking with the other coworker, was to tell me how much I owed for my purchase, then she resumed her conversation. I felt this was very rude, and not very good customer service.

Not all the stuff are willing to help. Some of them have bad attitude towards customers or depends who the customer is, because I have noticed that. They shouldn't be working there. Unfortunately that's my experience at this location

Huge inventory of goods, but can do better by listing items in the lane to purchase items efficiently.

Had issues with the service team in the past however this experience was far different they were very friendly very accommodating and I'm glad to service my vehicle with this company.

I am sorry for the head office of Canadian Tire, which has no supervision over this department especially on customer service

Avoid the auto department at all costs. Just found out all the 'work' they've done over the past 2 years was done wrong, and that my vehicle was close to catastrophic failure.

If this were any other company I would sue, but I know I won't win against a billion dollar conglomerate.

Save your time, money and sanity, and go to Barrie.

Whatever you need they probably don't have stock! Staff are great but so hard to get anything. Pool stuff not in stock, nuts and bolts good luck to you! Take nuts and bolts for example, the sizing guide is broken and every nut and bolt is the same in each individualized compartment

This is for Alcona Location. I have been going here at least once a week for the last 7 years. Extremely friendly and helpful staff but I do need to call out one person. Laurie goes above and beyond her duties every time I see her working. She is super knowledgable and friendly and embodies all the values a superstar employee should have and strive for. Beyond the regular store stuff she rocks the garden centre and truly belongs in that setting as a team leader or manager if she isn't already. I have never had a question unanswered and she is always fun to share gardening tips and tricks with. This employee is why I usually spend more time in the store and spend more money because of her vast knowledge and speed of finding me things. Give this superstar a raise!

Shopped the garden center yesterday around noon hour and the lady and young man were amazing. Very helpful! Finally found my hibiscus plants and more!

We would provide zero stars if applicable. This is for the Canadian Tire auto service. We booked an appointment to have our vehicle looked at. We brought it in for the appointment time, and the first response we received was "why are you here? ". We advised we booked an appointment to have the vehicle looked at and explained what we are experiencing. They "huffed" and said they don't even accept appointments here, but will look at the vehicle. After a couple hours, he called to say he can't help us, can't order in parts, can't provide us a quote or an ETA then said do not drive your vehicle. When we asked why we cannot drive our vehicle, he was extremely rude and followed up with "I can't tell you when you can or cannot drive your own vehicle. " He couldn't explain why, followed up with that comment and then wrote on our paperwork "advised client do not operate the vehicle. " But we want to know why? Is the vehicle going to explode if we left the parking lot? Is it going to catch on fire? Is it just going to die randomly in an intersection? He never explained ANYTHING. If you dislike your job that much, then leave it; this has painted a very negative impression for Canadian Tire in Alcona. But don't take it out on customers who truly need help with their vehicle and were nothing but kind the moment we stepped foot into the location. Absolutely ridiculous.

Great store with lots of stock. Parking lot is large and suitable for the amount of traffic. Only issue this store has is lack of people answering the phone. You can expect to be on hold for up to 30 minutes on most days and will be bounced around to other departments. Other than that it's a good place.

It was Boxing day 2022 at the very end of the day 5: 58 pm (they closed at 6: 00 pm).

They not only let me in the store but the staff was very helpful getting me out of there quickly.

By far one of the worst customer service received in any retail store I’ve ever entered in my entire life. Been here a more than a few times now so I know it’s not a one time thing. Staff is so miserable, entitled & very rude. I hate having to go here and try to avoid but given there’s not another Canadian Tire here in Innisfil in emergency quick events I have no choice. Mainly the mid aged & older staff. Try to be nicer, more friendly & less like a corrections officer. We’re humans who did nothing other than give your store our business. I’ve discussed this with a few of our neighbours & all say the same so it was about time I write a public review. If you can avoid here do so. There’s one in Barrie less than 15 mins away. Hopefully management can look into this & re-train better!

Called for appt for tire swap Tuesday, no answer left message, no one called back.ok so I booked online Wednesday went smooth confirmed appt, had email reminders of appt day before.get to the store 15 mins before as requested not open, left in cold until exactly 8am.get to counter advise had appt…looks me up says we cancelled you and sent you An email. I stated I did not and certainly wouldn’t be standing in front of him at a 8 am on a Saturday if they had.then the old fall back blamed some girl who was supposed “to call me “. Very poor service from start to finish. And this was the last free day we had before going away next week.now we have to scramble to find someone who will provide real and honest service.

Had a great experience with the auto centre. They were very helpful and even went out of their way to get me my estimation. Everything got finalized before EOD. Great job!

A great Canadian store lots to see great variety and more hopefully the owner's will bring more selection.

Went to the store and it was closed. The associate piped his head out and said the store closes ahead of the posted time. So I couldn’t go in even thought there was time. I had to drive to Barrie even though I explained I needed something very specific and quick. Was told to bad. If your time is 5: 50 on a Sunday then post it. If not keep the doors open. What a waste.

Do not purchase gifts from this place unless you plan on attaching the receipt. They used to provide credit notes if you did not get a receipt with your gift. Not anymore. Shopper beware!

I'll tell you what an experience there that store is run by a red-headed mother hen I wonder what her ideas ofCanadian Tire is, what a joke. Take the tire out of Canadian really bad experience

Usually a very helpful place with staff available. Tonight not so much. Hopefully tonight was just an off night.
Good selection and often really good sales on.

As a car person it sucked. Lots of thing behind glass and overpriced parts. The lady who unlocked the cast was rude when I looked looking to pick out a tool I needed as well

Asked the woman at the auto desk to help me find coolant. Eyeroll, told me what isle and that it’s on the bottle. When I clearly have no idea what I’m doing. I tried finding the plug on the rad after to drain the water as that’s what I drove to the store on TO BUY COOLANT and was struggling really bad so I went back in and politely explained I’m struggling and if someone has two seconds to help me. Another eye roll, said she has one tech and he’s busy. But when I walk back to my car that no one can apparently help me with for two seconds to pull a plug, there’s four of them standing around in the shop. That woman was so RUDE. Thanks.

My experience with the store was exceptional. The gentleman in Home went out of his way to ensure my product was in stock. (Barrie store said was in stock, 3 days later said it was out of stock). 2 star rating is because of Canada Cartage who does your delivery Very rude driver who argued with me about unpacking the product even though I showed I paid for that.

A welcome addition to the town friendly staff and mostly have everything I need also a nice food truck to quench your hunger after shopping

Decent place for most things, but often doesn't carry the necessary metric screws/bolts for display mounting Also, they seem to be short-staffed every time I go!

Store portion is fine, but if you have to take your car in to get serviced or fixed, try to avoid that and do it yourself.wanted to charge $1000 for a $150 part and maybe an hour to install.

I don't understand why they don't stock replacement parts and batteries for some of the products they sell. E.g, vacuum filters, solar light batteries etc.

Worst Canadian Tire yet. Half a dozen or more people not wearing masks and the workers said nothing to them. Only one exit and to get through to it you have to push your way through the big lineup. With several people not wearing masks in it. To everyone who waited in that big line to pay: enjoy your covid, I hope whatever you bought was worth it.

Very confused by this Canadian Tire store. Decent location, decent size for a store, but almost no one working in it. One out of three staff members were helpful, with the other two seemingly bothered by me asking for help (was my first time in this store).

Also, they have barricaded one set of doors, so there is only one way out, which is a little annoying when you go in for one item and need to get back out. Aisles are laid out in a most bizarre way as well. Overall, I'm not sure what to make of this place, and don't really want to go back.

Got some skate sharpening done, exchanged another pair and got some equipment all in one place. Great shipping experience and service.

I was in prior to Christmas to purchase a seasonal item I wasn't even sure would be in stock. Mack was in the sporting department and stopped what he was doing to assist me. He gladly got the ladder out and climbed up to help me find a baseball glove, and then back up again because I forgot to ask for the baseball to go with it. He answered my questions and was happy to help. I wanted to thank him for going above and beyond for me, and help me make someone's Christmas. I hope he can be recognized by his management team.

A young man there called me RE-a raincheck of a Pots & Pan set. So pleasant.went there and messed my card up (trying to make a pymt, was keying my CC pswd for my Bank card) now gotta hope I can get there b4 Friday and they are still in stock

Poor cashier service many people in-line and cashier talking to much on personal things will be taking my business to the North store much better service and self check outs

Great service from the automotive department. Lots of knowledge and pointed me in the right direction.

With this Canadian Tire, the answer is always NO! Waited in line before opening of 8am and was third in line, just to be told they are booked already for the day on oil changes. Liked it better when you actually booked an appointment. Slow as hell and no sense of urgency. What a joke!

Went in to purchase a 1 gallon sprayer. Unfortunately I was unable to locate one in the store? One of the employees noticed me walking around from section to section. Laurie (Red hair) went out of her way to ask if she could help me. Then found exactly what I needed upstairs. Thanks Laurie! Great Job!

Came in for a front end wheel alignment, sold me on replacing parts on one side of the vehicle was told only would be 195$ extra ended up paying 700+, now I need new tires, front end was off by 1/2" Never going back for Auto needs.

Bought some winter tires! Price was exceptional, tires were top rated and the service was fantastic.made my day!

Not very professional automotive department. Went there for tires and the guy seems not to interested in giving me information has to look up info, and then they tell me if I buy tires I can’t make appointment to put them on. It’s first come first serve.
Like it’s Canadian tire have your workers educated on what they are selling and have scheduled appointments to put the tires on. Oh but you can make an appointment for an oil change ridiculous and you lost my business. Went to a real tire shop where they knew what they are selling and put my tires on with an appointment. Customers rely on proper information not a guess to a question when buying an expensive item or items.
Anyhow not a satisfied customer.

Store is cluttered with bins of unknown products. Very difficult to find anything and isles are too small to keep distance from others. Self checkout machine reads your qr code and hesitates so you scan again and it gets charged twice. No doubt customers are being ripped off with multiple charges for one product on their credit cards.

We will not go back to this Canadian Tire in Innisfil.
Their customer service is nonexistent and almost to the point of being rude. We went there with a marine battery purchased 4 months ago. It would not hold a charge. They checked it out and sure enough it is toast. The fellow at the service desk virtually said too bad. We then took it to the CTC on Mapleview Dr.where they again checked it out for us and confirmed it was toast. The service manager immediately said that they would replace it. We walked out with a new battery and a “have a great day” from the staff.
We are never going back to the Innisfil Canadian Tire……

Waited for 30 mins for tire inquiry and the guy at the desk told me come tomorrow for this tires we don’t have the tires and in the website it is showing available pick up today and the guy told me you can’t place an appointment for tire change you have to come tomorrow at sharp 8 if you want. I have serviced my vehicle from I purchased to Canadian tire only now i will not go at Innisfil ever again due to the bad behaviour of employees.

Always busy. Extremely helpful staff go on Tuesday or Wednesday. I had to buy a tent only had one left when I checked online and when I went it was not on shelf. A staff member went out back and brought it out very impressed

Absolutely horrible customer service in Innisfil by what I assume was the supervisor. She caused a big argument with me and my family because she refused to give us a pair of skates for the price they are on display for. That it was our job to check that the product code was the same. That's not our job as customers! And continuously cutting us off and being over all very rude. I will be making my purchases elsewhere from now. Absolutely ridiculous and neither me, my husband or my children are impressed.

I was in Canadian tire Innisfil today looking for some fence parts I had asked 3 different employees of Canadian tire and none of the three could tell me where fence parts where only needed a new hinge for a gate it is so bad even the employees don't know where anything is one employee I asked worked one isle away

Even after the multiple complaints of a single cashier and line ups at the register.

Loved the service centre at this Canadian Tire. We were able to bring in our vehicle for a tire puncture when no other Canadian tire had the time. We dropped the vehicle off, went and had breakfast and it was ready when we were walking back from the restaurant.

I was in need of a electric Yardworks Blower/Vac and was unable to find one to replace my old one which stopped working. I found one which I purchased and when I got home and opened the box it was too heavy, so I I returned it and the Customer Service Clerk who was very pleasant allowed me to find one of my choice as I only wanted a Yardworks. I was very pleased with my old one which gave me great service for many years, so I decided to go with a smaller one which I purchased. I found it a little smaller than my previous one and would like to get a larger one to match the old one. While I am very pleased with Canadian Tyre Staff and Service I would hate to get a different make as I find Yardworks equipment very reliable.

Was in the store today around 11 AM. They had about 15 people lined up and one cash open, why would the manager staff the place that way? Happy to take our money but doesn't seem eager to provide customer service. Not the first time this had happened there, seems to be how they run things.

Would be a 5 star like any other canadian tire but last 3 times I've been there there's been a lineup of 15-20 people and only 1 person on cash. I cant understand how that's supposed to work. Other than that it's great.

If I could rate lower than one I would have.
I live in Innisfil and have to wait days for a pick up confirmation.
Now I go to Barrie south where the staff is much more pleasant.
This is the worst CT I have ever been to the management in Innisfil is the worst and very unprofessional.

Shop at the Barrie locations or Bradford and avoid this place.

3 days ago I ordered a bucket for curbside pickup. 3 days. 1 bucket and its still not ready for pickup.how long does it take to carry a bucket to the front of the store? And you all wonder why Amazon is taking over the world.

Good luck getting in touch with the service department. Ether on the phone or in person. Getting service related help is near impossible.

Also only 2 cashiers open on a Saturday afternoon is beyond ridiculous and that seems to be the standard. 2 on case 37 in line.

Ordered some ice fishing lures today did the covid curbside as I'm leaving check the bag found out one of the lures was missing call them and they said oh yeah we're out of stock on those, didn't bother to tell me or credit my card I guess hoping I would drive off not noticing and they would be 10 bucks better in their pocket last time I'll shop at that Canadian tire

Nice young man was very accommodating and got the ladder to retrieve a toy for me on the very top shelf! Thanks CTC. Finished my Christmas shopping now!

Store has curbside pickup only, this would not be to bad if the website was set up for it. I couldn't order an item online because it was store pickup only. So I went to the store and it took them over an hour and 15 minutes to get my three parts. Only to find out, I was only getting one part because they said the other two were damaged. I asked them to check the parts, and could I see the parts because I've now wasted an hour and a half of my time. I wanted to see the parts to see if I would still take them, as I only needed half of the item. They couldn't be bothered to take the 30 seconds to walk to isle 44 where I told them the items were, to show them to me. I basically wasted, (by the time my driving was done), over two hours to get one item which turned out to be broken when I got home anyway.

I went here for Tire change.
The customer service was poor. An old man working with auto department was not at all friendly. Wait time were above average for tire changes. Worst part was there was no appointments. I was told it will take 2 hours but the entire tire change took more than 4.5 hours. Would definitely won't come here again.

Ordered parts yesterday. They only ordered half of what i needed and didn't have any in stock. Even tho i prepaid for them they didnt have them all.

Decent store, a little bit of a mess. Some of the employees don’t care about customers or their job at all, but some were quite lovely.

The service of on-line ordering is very poor and unacceptable. I have spent more than half hour to place my order for tires and have to wait for 3 days for the cancel response; it is cancelled without having given any reason! If the items are not available, why have you wasted our time for ordering it.if you cannot support on-line order, then just simply disable it. Do not waste our time with your very pool service anymore!

I will say to start, the staff has always been very pleasant to me and I always thought I was well taken care off, until my last visit, they called and said I needed a bunch off things done to my SUV. As a senior and living on a budget I was extremely concerned about how much it was going to cost me, They assured me they had given me a great deal, but because so many things were going wrong, I asked is it worth it as the was so many km on it, they assured me it was, So I spent almost 2 grand on the SUV, which maxed out my card, not even a month later, transmission oil started pouring out, because I had no money, a friend took it to his mechanic, that mechanic said, Canadian tire should have told me it was not worth fixing as the entire under neath off the car was rotted. Now I sit no car. No money, and in a location where due to my health, I am unable to walk to and there are no buses, because everyone is always so nice to me there, I unfortunately put my trust in them

I had a good experience here. I could not find what I was there for but when I asked a full-time person. I had the item in seconds. They seem more set up for crov 19 then they were a month ago.

I have had encounters with the only red headed, glasses wearing employee stocking and working the floor. Always rude to me and other customers whenever I am in the store within earshot. I had another rude incident with her again today! She should get another job or be kept away from customers. NOT A PEOPLE PERSON! It's a shame, as a loyal customer, I feel I have to avoid an employee!

I came in for one set screw and the entire hardware box was basically blended together, at least the employee's sympathize with you and giggle about how "this is just the tip of the ice berg" (also barely even wearing the masks just pulled past their nose)
