Jhon who works at the Canada, s Garage is very rude.he didn't help at all even though I was right as per the store Manager.

I hope he learns how to speak to customers when they disagree with him.

Today I went to to this store. After scanning what I bought at the self checked out, the store staff came and searched the lunch bag I bought from the store. It was so offensive and hurtful to me. I hope they train their employees to respect their customers. I mostly shop at this store rather than Walmart. Coz I believe Canadian tire is the best for me as a Canadian. But from now on I may change my view about this store. I am sorry.

We recently purchased 2 folding chairs. When we got them home they were not comfortable and didn’t fit at the table properly. We returned them yesterday. Unbeknown to us chairs can’t be returned! Seriously! It’s on the bill but who looks at that! We were never told when we purchased them that this was a final sale…nor did the sign above them say it. The young girl at the returns desk said they couldn’t be returned and went on to say they were dirty! We said they had never been used and were not dirty. She told us she has eyes! To a customer! Wish we’d gotten her name but she’s young and lots of nose piercings. We asked for a manager and there was a guy right there. Manager or not he told us the policy as well to which we again responded that we were never informed of this. He said he would return them because they were in perfect condition! Never apologizing for this very rude girl. Customer service was just awful, we still can’t believe this girl spoke to us like this! Or that we were not informed of a final sale.

I have been a loyal client for over 20+ years which included many franchisee changes, some good and some not. Thankfully, there has been consistency in their auto service department lead by their top mechanic, Uma, Uma does a great job and is a strong brand ambassador for Canadian Tire. At this location, you get to know ALL the people who you are dealing with, from the auto advisors to the mechanic.

I was at Canadian Tire (Hyde Park Gate, Oakville) on Dec 2,2021. I had the great pleasure of being assisted by Lisa at the self serve checkout. She was very helpful, courteous, professional, patient and sympathetic. Overall she provided exceptional customer service.

This was my second visit to Canadian Tire that day as the first location was sold out of the item I wanted. I forgot to get a rain check as well as a photo of the sale price. My phone was very slow in accessing wifi and data in your store. I was not aware that Canadian Tire price matches other stores. Lisa went above and beyond her duties and assisted me without hesitation. She saved me time and money. I was so very impressed with her fabulous customer service, I just had to commend her service. She should be a role model to others. I applaud her service, she deserves a big raise! It’s people like her that makes consumers like me to want to go back again. She also set me up with the Triangle Rewards card, which I will definitely use in the future. I rarely shop at Canadian Tire (approx 1-2 times per year) But I will be back to shop at your store more often. You have gained a loyal customer now. Thanks to Lisa!

p.s. I forgot my receipt at the store maybe because I was too focused on Lisa’s wonderful service, I called back within half and hour and had the pleasure of speaking with her again. She found my receipt and it is waiting for me at customer service until my next visit.

Getting help is a challenge, I had gone to purchase a helmet for my daughter, this store didn't have in stock and the store down on Dundas Oakville had 5, asked the staff to call the Dundas store and put one on hold. They said that they don't put anything on hold and if required we should call the store ourselves. What kinda service is that, either they are to lazy to call or don't care about their customers.

One of the best experiences I've had to date with Canadian tire Auto Service. All the staff were friendly, informative, and quick to resolve the issue with my car.

Best part was, they seemed to have fixed an issue that may or may not have originated from another auto service company. Not going to name names. Also cost less than I anticipated.

Was good to go there. Marked for one way isles but some had stocking boxes so cart couldn't go through so had to use the return isle. They didn't have the masks in stock that was advertised in the flyer. No issues otherwise, nice clean store. Cashier was friendly.

The sports staff at the meadowvale location is horrible and month of a terrible experience with a 600$ bike the 403 location was ready to refund my money and found out I bought it at meadowvale. The manager there did his best to not only give me my money but to force me to pic another and purchase on a credit. I went to another cdn tire and got a credit because the way they did it.

Horrible customer service. Employees are hard to find when assistance is needed and even when you find one they don't seem to know any of the products being sold. Manager on duty seems lost when answering questions and not willing to offer assistance in any capacity. Overall very disappointed at this location and would highly encourage people to go somewhere else.

The manager Nadia B is absolutely rude, instead of solving my problem with one of the employees she started to shout at me asking me to leave, she didn’t even try to listen to my complaint. I hope someone from management calls to file an official complaint. This’s nota way to treat clients!

I had the experience of speaking with Jamie the store manager regarding a $1999.00 gazebo that I purchased 32 days ago about getting $200 back as the item was now on sale. He told me that there would be no way he would be able to price match the $200 difference unless I packed up the gazebo that took me 8 hours to assemble and return it, obtain the refund and repurchase the product. I asked him to please make an exception for me as I would not be able to take down the gazebo and that $200 was a lot of money. He was extremely rude and told me there was not was he would be able to help me out. I called the customer service line on my way home and they informed me that 100% I would be able to get my money back for the difference of my purchase, especially that the stores were closed due to the pandemic. I drove to the Mavis location and went to the customer service desk. The lady processed the refund right away without asking me a single question. I didn’t have my previous method of payment so I got $226 back on a gift card. I am in disbelief that a store manager would be so unwilling to help a customer that frequents at this store on an ongoing basis and would not be able to make an exception to save a customer $200. He didn’t even take the time to really listen to what I had yo say. His answer was just no, sorry I can’t help.

Let’s say I will not be returning to this store and am very disappointed with my experience. Thankfully I was able to get this situation resolved by another location which I will be bringing my business to moving forward.

I attended the Garden Centre at this location. What a joy. I got what I needed Peat Moss and garden soil. I didn't know that peat Moss could weigh so much. Thank you Kyle for your assistance. It would have taken me much longer to get these to my car. Great customer service.

The curbside pickup is shokingly bad. Been waiting for 20 minutes, called the helpline, answer I got was: "I cannot see your order, are you sure you ordered online? Oh wait.here it is". Second round of lockdown didn't give Canadian Tire sufficient time to sort the curbside pickup.

Overall good store but fails at curbside. Take your orders elsewhere.

As per lot sign and email I self checked in online. Waited patiently as people who arrived after proceeded to leave with their orders. Didn't want to be that guy who walks up to the door and nags the workers so I waited patiently. Called after an hour and turns out I'm not supposed to use self check in, was waiting for no reason. This was not stated anywhere. Still had to wait another half hour to get my order.

Hate being the guy who writes 1 star reviews but I would have paid the expensive shipping if I knew I'd waste over an hour of my time.

Attempted curbside pickup. The website indicates they are open until 8pm. The voicemail says they are closed (it is 7pm) and no one is answering. The emailed link to inform the store I am here to pick up does not work. The parking area for pickup is full and customers are leaving. After a year of working through curbside pick up this is unacceptable.

For the second time Curbside pick up took 40 minutes. Going in the store was useless. The blond at Customer service gave even more attitude when I expressed shock at a 40 min wait. So much for service. What’s the point of curbside pick up of it takes this long.
Same experience the third time because I mistakenly picked this store over the another one when ordering online. 9a Saturday morning. 25 min later the pick up status still says “processing your order” step 0 of 3.

Sometimes customer service can be so bad that it just leaves you shaking your head.

Went to this CT at about noon today to buy a seed spreader and bag of fertilizer from the garden centre. Spreader was 49.99 compared to Lowe's at 37. Asked the garden centre cashier if they price match, and she said yes and called a manager on her walkie to do the override.

A tall-ish blonde emerged from the store and wrote down the item SKU to verify the competitive price at Customer Service. Disappeared back into the store for a few minutes and returned with the message that "We can't price match because Customer Service is closed". I asked to explain, but she just coldly repeated herself and walked away. Garden centre cashier was really embarrassed and apologized to me, but couldn't do anything to help.

I'd love for the store owner to reply to this review and explain why this happened to me.

BTW - Home Depot down the street happily price matched and won my $80 order (I bought a hanging basket too, since they were so nice).

They closed early but the curbside pick up site was still running, me and many others were waiting in the parking lot because when we clicked the link to say we were outside it said to wait and someone will bring it. After 30minutes of waiting we all realized the store was closed.

I went the next day but the curbside pick up site still had my info from the day before and it wouldn't let me redo to say I was there or which spot I was in, after calling the store a staff was very HELPFUL and made a note that I was not in spot #3 any more, but I was there in spot 4.

What I like about Canadian Tire is that they have items in stock that are promoted for sale in their flyers. And they often have good discounted items: I usually get items for sale with 30%-40% off.

And she said also that when you buy make sure you like it because we have the policy. I will never come back to this store again! Horrible manager and customer service! And she was rude by the way!

The worst customer service I have ever received. Maxine hates her job clearly if someone hates there job you shouldn't allow them to answer your phone. Asked to speak to a manger was put on hold 7 times for about 15 - 20 mins before being cut off each time and having to call back still haven't spoke to anyone except Maxine who did I mention has a horrible attuited. My employer pays me to to manage my team and also make sure customer concerns are addressed immediately. I have never dealt with a center that has absolutely no care for their customer and I will never spend a penny of my money in this location ever again.

Brutal service go anywhere else. 50+ minutes, 3 phone calls and a request for a refund was the only way to get our product in the most unorganized curb side pick up around. The snarky staff did nothing to solve the problem and suggested on multiple occasions the product was coming or already delivered (when it was not). While I want to support local during covid never again at this store. Curb side pickup should not be such an awful experience.

Inventory on shelves (or not) doesnt match online. Drove there as internet and another Cdn Tire showed they had 4, but actually had none. Helpful staff commented they'd been looking for these items few times and not found any.too bad they didn't bother to update inventory system.
