I was at counter 3 for return with a picture of barcode of receipt. The first person here couldn't scan the barcode, I asked her to put barcode number manually but she doesn't even know about it and pissed of on me. This girl was yelling oh my God, oh my God, this can't be done here. I told her to call supervisor and someone with big attitude came. These racist people think that customer came to their home. There was a Sri Lankan guy stood there in the beginning laughing, commenting to girls 'look one Indian guy is here'. I told the supervisor to type barcode numbers manually. First she told me it won't work without paper receipt. I told her to try enter numbers manually again and again. Later it worked. Guys please teach these staffs some customer service. Between 7 10 - 7 30 pm.

Do not shop here. Employees make it known they are doing you a favour if they direct you to the general vacinity the item you're looking for MAY be. Do yourself a favour and just shop on amazon

What is the point of the appointment system if my car is not going to be worked on at that time? I asked 2 hours after my appointment if I should go home. I was told one more hour. 2 hours later i was told one more hour. I got screwed over on my day off. Get your car serviced somewhere else

It's not that big as compared to other locations but have all the stuff and we'll organize to find easily. There is plenty of free parking available there.

Do not recommend this place. Everyting is not organized and I checked on website some items were in stock, but they did not have them. Also, I showed it and asked to find them, but they even did not try to find.

I couldn’t buy batteries that I needed urgently nor umbrellas because they were locked away due to alleged thefts. Inefficient and depressing to lock all items from customers. It means you are not interested in selling anything. Very poor customer service. Won’t be visiting this location again.

Very price for auto repair there. The charged me over $1000 to pass safety certificates years ago. I was told the break locked and it is dangerous to drive, while I did not feel any issues before I drove to there.

Kind of had an very uncomfortable experience. Went to get a product from one of those "locked " cabinets. Was treated like i was there to swipe some stuff of off there. I was not allowed to touch the product and was given directly to the cashier. I wanted to buy multiple things. But I was bummed by the experience. So I left.

I asked price match with Amazon. CA but I got rejected, the reason was amazon is warehouse, not store. I've called Canadian tire customer service and got confirmed that they do price match with amazon. CA.

Scam artists i did some shopping around
$79.99 to change tires at any canadian tire without rims

I dropped off my car asked for a work order and confirmed the price $79.99 they said we don’t give no paperwork

So how do i know you have my car etc.as every mechanic shop gives you a work order
I understand its holidays and its busy but now i got stuck with a bill that is way different to when i dropped off the car

They started to threaten me with police
Because i caught them in there lie

Very shady business

Waited 10hrs

Could have gone to mr lube for the same price and only 1hr turn around waisted a day of work for no reason

They ended up charging me double and had no choice to pay as i need my car for work

Lady at the entrance from mall doesn't know how to ask people nicely. Even after I bought the products already, she spoke loudly to leave my cart with her. I assumed she didn't see that I put stuffs in my cart after paying, still she can say nicely not like I'm trying to steal things. Also, I have to wait long to help getting stuffs from where I can't reach even after someone already called the phone to help me, nobody showed up. Asked other workers twice later finally can get that.

Horrible, I'd give less stars if I could. You get told 3 different things from three different people. You get told you can return your item if you don't like it. "you have 30 days.oh I mean 60. " to make you buy it. So you buy. Then when you return, you're told you need the exact card. Then you are told you can only get a store credit.from the manager.take it or leave it and that you're a liar, the employees in the store told you that after ripping the box while opening the box.extremely disrespectful and rude service.
**Be VERY carefully when you talk to someone at this location as they don't know what is what and where is where. Just a warning.
Patricia the manager at the return counter isn't in the business of serving the customer but more or less, move over.next!
So I wouldn't bet on her helping you maybe the time of the week? May that helps who knows. But she could care less about you experience shopping here.

Placed an order for pickup. Have done it multiple times since it was introduced and it’s been terrible each time, this location seems to be the worst. I went to the pickup counter and I was the only customer there. The employee looked up at me, then proceeded to ignore me and wrap a box instead. I waited ten minutes and went to look for another associate.

I was lectured about taking their time and not following the signs, for the pick up counter. The associate walked away when I said the person at the counter was not helping me.

I then went to the checkout line to ask someone else for help and was again lectured and told to go back to the pick up counter. I waited another 10 minutes, it took the associate 30 seconds to find and give me my order.

My overall experience was over thirty minutes for a 30 second pickup. I’m not sure the savings are worth the horrible experience, I must be a glutton for punishment.

returned a brand new item bought from another CT and PATRICIA (supervisor) refused to accept the return bcz it was purchased from another CT forcing me to go back to the same CT.very rude and disrespectful to a loyal customer. One should be out of mind to go there for purchase or return!

to CT folks:
This branch is hurting your business, you should seriously consider closing it or make them practice proper customer service! Not first time came out of their doors disappointed.

Been a loyal CT customer for over 10 years. Will be my last time visiting a CT.

This store is really awesome. I have visited the store to purchase a bike and I didn't know anything about the bikes. Then I asked to the two guys working in the sports. (Their name is Josh and Anoj) They were really helpful. They helped me to purchase the best bike from the store and also they helped me to purchase bike accessories. I am really happy.thank u Canadian tire and the guys who helped me.

I was looking for a kids bike for my son and it showed 2 in stock at this store.   I approached the first sales associate at the bike section and asked for assistance, he told me is sold out when I showed him the picture.   I asked him again and told him it shows two in stock at this location on the Canadian Tire app on my phone. The associate didn't even bother to double check or look for the bike. He just told me to look for the bike myself on the ceiling of the store.   Apparently all of their kids bikes are hung up on the ceiling to save space.   I find this kind of customer service is unacceptable because he didn't even bother to help or try to sell me something similar. I think I should just go back to shopping online if I was going to look for everything myself.   Why shop at a store and get lazy answers to your questions.   The associates working there just don't want to help and just stand around yapping to other coworkers.   The second sales associate that I asked was nice enough to help me get an orange bike for me to look at.   He was very nice and helpful. Hope this store hires more helpful associates in the future.

Better lighting than the Yonge and Bloor location so it's easier to decipher darker blues and blacks in clothing. One main service counter with several cashiers rather than 6 cash desks but only one being manned.

I returned an item that I bought 4 days ago at another location at 8.30pm tonight. I had the receipt and the item was brand new. They told me that it was not coming up because the other store was closed and for some reason the system was not connecting.

I asked how we could make it happen as I had been told when I bought that I could return it to any store for 90 days. It is a large item and all I was asking was for them to do what is promised on the receipt.

Patricia and Radi became extremely hostile and refused to return the item for me and accused me of dishonesty.

They were rude and accusatory for no reason - they said
1. I am bringing it in too late (the store closes at 10pm)
2. I must return it to the store I bought it from (not Canadian Tire policy)
3. I should come early (no reason given)
4. Patricia asked me why I am returning it to her store when the original store is far away. When I asked why she enquired, she accusingly said "well you have a receipt that is not scanning"
4. I got offended (understandably I think) and Radi, who claimed to be the store manager, swore at me and forced me to take the heavy, large item back with me.

Their behaviour was so bad, that a woman followed me out of the store to tell me how many times she has seen Radi behave disgustingly to customers in the past, and how she can't believe what she just saw them do to me.

I have a video of all of this, as well as this witness' name. Honestly I could not make this stuff up.

What is particularly concerning is that everything I have experienced tonight has been reported by other reviewers, including being sworn at by a manager, and refusal to accept a return from another store. Very disappionting.

CUSTOMERS BEWARE! Awful return policy! You can't return open box item and get your money back.even if you hate the product. Bought a fan which was advertised as super silent. No product on display to test it out. I tried it at home and in fact, it was very noisy and loud. I took it back the next day and was told no refund on any open box items. I couldn't find another product that fit my needs. And now I stuck with useless store credit and no fan.

This Canadian Tire is an older store built in the late 70s so the aisles aren't S spacious but the staff keep the shelves stocked well and are able to give quick accurate directions finding a product which can be attributed to Canadian Tires excellent employees employee relations and is recognized as top employer with benefits offered, training and fairness. But they have many staff members with years of service and tbjer service reflects that in a very positive way. I had family visiting from the UK a few years back and told.them if they wanted to have Canadian shopping immersion and see from a shopping perspective who we are to give me a morning or afternoon during the visit for a trip.to Canadian Tire which honestly does.mot describe to visitors from abroad or those immigrating what thier niche in the market is but the first time UK family members were impressed with variety and pricing they made two.more trips privately before returning home. I love Canadian Tire all but the Tire portion of thier name with its failure to market itself.

Worth customer service ever in Canada.
They keep you one hour on line up to return an item also when I got something wrong they said they give me the half of the price after 2 days passed of my shopping day.
CS desk people are so round with customers and never try to help. They usually ignore people on the return line. I experience this issue just in these branch.
Also, when you got items from another Canadian tire they try to avoid to accept the return and I was asked to go back to the same shop.

Terrible location, awful customer service, manager is a joke I don't know why they call it curbside pick up when you have to wait over an hour in your car after checking in. They hang up the phone when you call (when and if you even get through) would never return. Go to another location, this place and their "curbside pick up" is a disaster

Worst CT in northyork. Customer service is horrible and has attitude towards customers including its MANAGERS! No respect regardless of being a new or a old customer what so ever. They even start Cursing in their language under their mouth if they are sure you are not informed of it or cannot understand the language. (this is unacceptable) and its not just one person. On top of all no covid messures is being done at this location, if you take a look inside from its curbside location. FOR THE HEALTH OF YOUR WALLET, MIND AND FAMILY, DO NOT SHOP AT THIS LOCATION!

Curb side pickup is a joke. You get email confirmation that your order is ready. Arrive and park at the designated area. Check in online. Wait 1hour sitting on the car only to have someone knock on your window and tell you the system is down. And now you have to line up and wait again

What a terrible service they have when it comes to their Express Oil Change. They stick to using Castrol 5W40 and use it for all BMW diesel vehicles. It is LL01 type high-SAPS oil and cannot replace the LL04 or LL12fe oil that BMW recommends for its diesel vehicles.
They don't care what kind of oil the engine needs, they use what they have, and their software helps them in that. It all looks like and most likely is a big scam.

Terrible! Owner of the business is ruining this company’s brand image. I ordered a fishing rod for curbside and it was delivered to me not only wrapped in tape but also missing parts! When confronted about the situation, she (the owner) very rudely told me to come back in a month because there are “no exchanges or refunds right now” and if I didn’t like it “I should leave” then told me to go away after I tried to explain the situation. While I can appreciate that times are tough right now, the experience I had today was completely unacceptable under any circumstances. After tracking down the employee who brought me my order in the parking lot, he was able to fix the situation for me. Absolutely ridiculous that it was the sales associate and NOT the manager/owner who was able to find a solution. Beware of this woman, if you find yourself having to deal with, prepared to be let down. Not what I expected from Canadian tire. Especially from an owner/upper management.

I had a really good experience in the auto centre, but all of my experiences in the rest of the store have been negative. The auto centre was very fast and helpful with my tire problem. The staff I spoke to were all really personable and friendly. The rest of the store however is always horrendously messy. There are frequently dismantled pallets in the store, cardboard and wrapping just strewn about in the aisles. Could definitely use some organizing!

I have been shopping here for over 12 years. I have known Rog the store manager for just as long. I can praise him enough. He is incredibly friendly, helpful and respectful. He will do anything he can to make sure you are happy and have a great experience. Arbee in the automotive department has also helped me a few times and she is also just great. So friendly and helpful! They both went above and beyond to help me. Thanks for the great experience Rog and Arbee! Keep smiling and keep up the good work!

Changed a car tire, after a month of using it I found out that they gave me the wrong size of tire.
They refused to give me a refund or change the tire to the original, claiming that I should have checked the tire before I left.
Don't use their auto service, you'll end up paying double the money.

I placed an online order from this location to get it delivered to my home, they were quick with it except that they've sent me wrong items. Now according to their customer support, I need to go there in person to return someone else's stuff to get a refund and make another order if I still want items I wanted to buy initially. Trying to traverse the hellscape that is this CT location is a wasted effort. Can’t find anything, the stock for sale items is nonexistent (if you can even find where among the tall, disorganized aisles the item is even supposed to be). And the wider aisles look like flea market with everything dumped into bins haphazardly. The parking lot is another matter. There are deep gouges, not potholes, in the parking lot and the lines can barely be seen. The people working there were polite, too bad the location is terrible. This location is a disservice to their employees and customers. Do better Canadian Tire.

We had an emergency with our car and this Canadian Tire location was the closest mechanic at the time. The assured us that they would be able to make our car safe to drive and proceeded to fix the exhaust with silicone. This did not seal the exhaust and will expire at high temperatures, which is great considering exhausts get very hot. The lack of seal means that carbon monoxide is getting into the cabin. Very poor work, we should have hired a tow for the exuberant price of the awful work. Save yourself having to get work redone and do not use the Canadian Tire Auto Shop.

I bought an elliptical online from Canadian TIre and I choose this location as nearest store with home delivery service. After couple of days they didn't deliver it. I Call to customer service center.they transfer my call to branch.nobody pick up. I call the branch next day. Somebody told me Home delivery is by third party company and they are waiting for them. After 2 days they told me they ran out of it and they are waiting for delivery from Montreal. (At the time I bought 3 was available.). I went to branch to cancel it and buy it from another branch they said order status is waiting (or something) and they can not. Nice worker but confusing system. Those stars are for employees. Finally after 3 weeks from ordering, I get my elliptical.

I felt completely ripped off by the Auto Service Department.
Firstly, I asked for an oil and filter change, with the same previous oil, which they have in the system and they showed me on the store computer, the Castrol conventional 5w30 (CAD 27). Of course I was surprised to see that on the invoice was another oil, the Castrol Edge (CAD 39.95).

Secondly, I asked for a tire rotation service. The service supervisor called Safeer Jeffer (a very rude and unprofessional employee) who said that the service could not be done because the “expert” Canadian Tire mechanic, broke MY wheel locker (My Lug nut key) and they blamed on me. He said it was my fault and Canadian Tire could not do the service (tire rotation) and above all, they will not replace my lug nut key.
Moreover, he charged me CAD 61.00 in "Shop charges".

Another attendant called Araz understood our situation and gave us the contact of the manager called Joe. She and another attendant were totally surprised by Safeer's attitude. They totally agreed that Safeer did act disrespectful and unprofessional.
On top of that, he didn't give me my wheel lock kit back. Just the broke one.

Although I tried to contact Joe (the Manager), he wasn’t at the store and I have to go back there another day.

The auto service department at this store is horrible and I don’t recommend it to anyone.

Stay away and stay alert!

I am still waiting for a decent solution.

I would like to report that I returned to Canadian Tire and we had excellent customer service by the Service Manager, Qiushi Joe Guo. He understood what had happened, explained to us in detail how the procedures were done, and how they would rotate the tires properly. Thus, we agreed with the values ​​and services provided.

Although this does not eliminate the extremely bad customer service that we had previously, I certainly appreciate the attention we received by the Manager Joe Guo, who promptly has offered a solution for this issue. After all, we are paying for the services and that was not for free.

Got a tire replaced. Had my vehicle towed to Canadian Tire with a flat. They quickly assessed that the tire wasn't fixable. My tire wasn't in stock, although it appeared to be in their system, but they had the product delivered first thing in the morning the next business day, gave me a good price and installed the new tire right away when I showed up. Big thanks to the automotive service team and mechanics.

Worst customer service! They took advantage of my Wife's lack of understanding of cars.she went there for a tire puncture repair. They told her that it cant be repaired and she need a new tire. Reluctantly she agreed, they didn't ask her what brand she wants, didn't explain the tire types, cost etc.they just replaced it with their brand MotoMaster.and they only replace ONE TIRE.usually tires are replaced in sets. I went back for answers it turned out, they cant do anything. This is the last time i am going there that is for sure.
