Canadian Tire

We went yesterday to return a defective item. We had to deal with a rude, arrogant and young cashier. We had a lecture.we had to argue to have our refund. We are clients there for more than 16 years. You are a disgrace to treat you clients like this.
Shame on you.

Blonde straight haired short girl needs to learn how to treat customers with respect, obviously hates her life. If it’s so bad just quit, we don’t want to deal with rude arrogant customer service either.

This store really does have everything.
They carry more in their store than many of the other stores I have been in.
Some owners just try harder.

I left the Essex store feeling very disappointed. I had purchased 4 new tires from them and then returned to have the installation done. At that point I was told by an automotive service representative that they were refusing to work on my vehicle unless I were to have 3 ball joints replaced, claiming that I had an unsafe vehicle. When that employee told me that my tires had worn unevenly I suspected that he wasn't being honest with me, because I had looked at this before coming to the store. I chose to leave the store with my tires and have another shop install them. This second shop told me that he saw no signs of wear in my ball joints. Just to be safe I took my vehicle to a third mechanic for his opinion, and he also told me that my ball joints did not need to be replaced. I really hate to say it, but it seems clear that the automotive service people that dealt with me at the Canadian Tire store in Essex were knowingly lying to me in order to bring in additional sales revenue by performing unnecessary work on my vehicle.

I really try to support and help my local stores in a small town. I called at 8pm tonight Nov. 15/22 and asked if they could hold a stick vacuum until the following morning. They only had one left in stock. The cashier asked her manager and she replied absolutely not, order it on line. I checked the stores in the city of Windsor and they have plenty, so tomorrow before work I will pick one up in the city. Just when you try to use your loyalty to support your small town this is what you get.

I was at the Essex location today and received nothing but attitude from the auto service department after spending $2000, I will certainly not bring my vehicles back to Canadian Tire ever again.

I was with my family today as they spent 2 grand in the automotive area. They lost the lugnut key and gave attitude. I felt bad for my family to deal with the arrogance and ignorance of these unprofessional employees.

Never enough associates to serve customers and when you find one they are generally not informed enough to serve you.

Scouts Canada Apple Day. Stopped by to make a donation and get an apple. Happy that they are able to be there.

Got tires put on today they didn't have my truck more than 2 hrs and they lost the wheel lock and the attitude we received over their screw up. I already contacted customer service to file a complaint and will be contacting the CEO of Canadian Tire.

The staff at this location could not be more helpful. Typical busy layout but the staff will help you find what you need.

Canadian Tire with a small town customer service approach. Staff searched until they found the one item left in stock and walked it to the front for me.

Stock levels are inaccurate, some product qualities are questionable, but they really do excel in customer service. Compared to an experience at say, a Wal-Mart, Canadian Tire employees really do know what’s going on in their store and are willing to drop what they’re doing to help a customer. Somewhat of a rarity in today’s retail shopping ecosystem.

Canadian Tire is a great place to shop for all your needs, have been shopping at Canadian Tire for the last 50 years! I still enjoy going there!

The Essex Canadian Tire is so friendly and helpful. The store may be smaller, but it's stocked!

Store staff needs to learn CUSTOMER SERVICE. Not stand around talking making inappropriate jokes while the customer is standing there waiting for service

I'm disappointed that at curb side pick up, everything was in 1 bag and something leaked and got on everything in the bag. This is my store and I'm not often dissatisfied. I'll keep them

Young lady at the automotive desk was extremely helpful. They were out of the wiper blades I needed. She took the time to go check the shipment that had just arrived to see if any blades came in that shipment. Most people any more would not bother.

Great store with great people. Staff are friendly and helpful. Was recently at the Essex store and saw an anti-masker acting like a jerk to the manager. The manager was polite, respectful and calm. The staff don't deserve the abuse they get.

They terrible for service and discriminated against others. The manager is arragant and ignorant of the law. They were bulling me into try and were a mask while exiting the store to purchase something. I and other will never shop in your store.
