Came for a specific item and found it. Price shown on the shelf was great, even confirmed with an associate that the price shown was correct. When it came to checkout, the item rang up at a much much higher price and was told they couldn’t honour price shown on shelf which was confirmed by associate. Beware of bait and switch.

I go to the store in Stratford Ontario. Often staff, when I’m looking for a product. Will direct me to the wrong place or say they don’t know, go to customer service. This causes a lot of wasted time for me the customer. However I’ve run into an employee who stirs me in the right direction and has often taken me to get my product. I’ve searched her out many times but never got her name. Wednesday Nov 1st I visited the store and found her. This time I asked her name, because I had dealt with her so many times. She told me her name was Nancy. She makes my visit to the store hassle free and has done this regularly. I gave a three star not because of merch but because of indifference by some staff. She is a 5 star employee and I thought it right to give her a kudos. I will continue to seek her out in the future.

A huge shout out to Natalie who assisted me at the party city counter. I had just come from an ultrasound with a top secret envelope containing the gender of our baby, as well as 4 balloons (2 boy gender and 2 girl gender) that I had purchased on party city online. I requested for Natalie to open the envelope, fill 2 balloons and refund 2 without revealing the gender to me. She did this FLAWLESSLY. She was clear with her instructions, and ensured there was no trace left over from the packaging. She also shared in my excitement, which added to the special occasion. Thank you Natalie for being so wonderful, I have shared this positive experience with so many!

Worst Canadian tire in Canada. I purchase a code reader ODB2 and ask if it can be returned if I don’t use and was told by the lady working that it could. 24hrs later I go to return the item and they refuse to give my refund. After taking to 2 manager who were so rude I have no words to explain they finally give the refund with a trespass warning to never come back. I was never rude or cursing. I talked a little much but I was frustrated. I don’t know why they gave me such a hard time and a trespass warning other than the Colour of my skin or the fact that the 2 manager are low paid cranky old farts. 0star to this place if possible. I called customer complaint and filed a complaint against the manager.
UPDATE. I go into the store again today to buy a 14mm Allen key and the lady (manager of automotive short blonde with glasses roughly 50-60yrs old) comes up and tells me I must leave. I question here and ask why and she states “ you can’t come back into the store because you were talking to much and cut me off while trying to speak the other week” in those exact words. As I’m being escorted out like a criminal I say to here “I don’t understand why talking too much and cutting someone off while talking constitutes to being kicked out of the store for life, It’s the colour of my skin isn’t it” and she replies NO WAY, HARDLY with a weird smirkish frown. I’m going back tomorrow and I will record for evidence as now I will look around for discrimination lawyer and see if something can be done. I’ve tried calling their customer service and the say the owner will contact me but nothing ever happens. SHAME on this owner for letting employees get away with this. Remember that I never once spoke loud cursed or was rude in anyway. The whole time I just expecting or hoping they say, “ok I know we made a mistake” and give me a refund or the store credit and let me be on my way. I could understand being kicked out if I was freaking out yelling swearing and losing my mind. Hell I would be embarrassed to even go back. But this.
I will continue to go back until they call the police

Easily the worst CT I’ve been to. Frequently out of stock, even if the website says otherwise. Staff are not helpful or knowledgeable. Lineups at the cash are usually 6-8 people deep.

I am local to Chatham and probably will live here for another 40-50 years (hopefully). Unless the store manager changes I will never visit Canadian Tire in Chatham.
They are worse than terrible. If leave my dirty sock in the store, it can manager there better than that manager.
They must find a manager who does not hate people, who does not have abuse customers. I am 40 and so far i have not seen this bad customer satisfaction.

I think this is the very WORST Canadian Tire in ONTARIO. I hate this place. And I hate even more that I HAVE to get the product I want from Canadian Tire. Their Curbside pickup option. Is so FLAWED and takes 20mins to pick up 1 order. There is no way to avoid going into this store.

That being said, I've started making my monthly Canadian Tire trip to BLENHEIM. Worth the extra 20min drive.

Use the button for call assistance 6 times, waiting 25 minutes, no body came. Find one guy and ask him about help, he said “I’ll help you in a minute “ and gone, wait for him 10 minutes more, without result… better to buy online something

SEVEN employees standing around at checkout while three try to help lined up customers. Items difficult to find, aisle not labeled on mobile website or touch screen at front of store.

Been a while, but good reminder why I usually only go Canadian Tire for 50%+ sale items or desperate.

I really find it unpleasant when there is a representative following you around the store trying to sell you credit cards. If this needs to be done a table in one of the isles would be less intrusive.

The store return employee today, was awful. She treated us like criminals because we had a few returns since lockdown didn't allow it and searched everything with a rude look in a rude way even completely closed sealed product. I do understand this has to happen but not in the way she did it. I will go to another store from now on.

Only giving one star because that’s the lowest I can go. This is the second time I ordered online for curb side pick up and have waited over an hour for items they had in stock both times. The second time the order was made was 15 minutes after they opened so they weren’t busy!
Now I’ve updated this post, have now waited over three hours for what has been ordered and still haven’t gotten it! Is it beyond stupid and unprofessional!

This store is very unprofessional and say they can't take phone orders cause of regulations they just don't want to be bothered to get the business.and be helpful. I will travel to another store that treat people qith respect.your store lost should be boycotted

While I have been shopping at Canadian Tire for some time, I thought that their Noma lights where a good quality light. I was sorely mistaken it seems. I purchased ten to fifteen strands of their lights this year and had trouble with at least 75% of them. Exchanged some of the stands for new ones only to be left with the same intermittent issues (flickering / very dim / refuse to come on). If you plan on shopping here, I suggest you stay away from any of their brands, and stick to others that seem to value quality more.

They were great, broke down on highway, limped my car there, they had what I needed (thankfully it was a basic repair) they have "curbside ordering" at their exit doors so there was no wait as long as I knew exactly what I wanted. The most helpful Canadian Tire I've ever experienced!

It’s a Canadian tire. They sold me the wrong size tires for my truck and I didn’t realize until I noticed my speedo was out. Return to stop sorry nothing we can do you drive in them. Will never buy tires again or get repairs done.

Canadian Tire is my all time favorite store, you can get everything here! Great deals, great items, great staff! The other day I got a lightning bolt strobe light with Thunder sounds for $5! On sale from $33, definitely worth more than what I paid!

Not great customer service from the associates, to transfer call it'll take forever and in auot Lynn is very rude and gives vague responses as of its not her job to service customers. Bill was under training did a great job answering my questions.

With current covid situation, the place was clean, social distancing markers set up clearly, went in for one thing ended up seeing that there was sale pricing on a couple other items that I was going to buy next week, so got them this trip, the only thing that wasn't great, was a couple staff members and customers that cut me off as walking thru. Like take a peekaboo before just walking out the aisle.

Always great deals but three times I've had rain checks that I have had to keep calling about they never call when in. I still have 2 outstanding rain checks and now being told that one will not be offered at the original sale price. I am now getting frustrated with this location and have always had great experience with other locations. I have removed another star and will probably make an extra drive to better stores with a customer service that actually cares
