Canadian Tire is Canadian Tire. I have found, however, at this location there is a serious problem with properly labeling the products. Sometime customers put things in the wrong place, and I understand that. I have had several experiences now where they have just mislabeled the shelf. This causes frustration because customer service is always busy.

When renovating, the staff aren't told where the product is hidden. Quite annoying to have to go to another store when the staff are as lost as the customer.

Messed up on line order. Never communicated. Had to cancel. Will not shop online or in person again.
Then they ask you to call owner (customer support). I'd already called twice. Total waste of time. Know I have to make sure I get full refund for 2 kayaks U was told would be delivered for long weekend.

The aisles were very crowded and some sections were hard to navigate into as an able-bodied consumer. With how choked down some of the back corner is near where the bicycles, kayaks, and life vests were is Sporting goods, it would have been extremely difficult for someone on crutches or on a mobility scooter.
On the good side, this CTS had a lot of attendants in the store and the few I spoke with were quite helpful about my inquiries - Much better than the CTS on the other side of the city.

Went to get a Berkeley lightning rod that was advertised online, instore, and in the flyer for 55.99$ on sale. Went to buy it, and they said it was 89.99$ plus tax. They refused to honour the sale price cuz the codes didn't match even though it was advertised 3 separate ways for the price of 55.99$. Then they tried telling me that it must be a different rod because they didn't have any in stock and the different codes, even though the one I grabbed came off the shelf as there were several others, and they don't sell any other Berkley lightning rods, I don't even know if there are different types of lightning rods or not, I just know Canadian Tire only carries the one in 3 different lengths. The customer service lady I dealt with was rude and had an attitude and was trying every excuse in the book as too why they couldn't honour the sale price. Thunder bay, Ontario, Fort William Rd location.

I would like to personally thank this specific Canadian Tire.
Especially the gent at the auto service desk.
Not only did he listen to all the failures of Western Canadian Tire in my specific ongoing issues with my fuel pump.
But took time to sit and explain to me what wasn't tended to properly by these other shops.
Corrected the on going issue, kept Canadian Tire standards by not charging me when more money.
But also said if I had any more issues he would supply a tow for me to return.
I've now made it home to Hamilton.
So thank you.
Maybe somehow corporate can assist me in recovering some of the 2600$ a fuel pump has cost me between repairs, towing and Hotel rooms.

Went to buy a propane tank and have it filled the guy said we are only open till 5pm. So I said I would come back tomorrow. Only to get back in my car to find out its Only 4: 50pm. When I called the store said open till 6pm? Wth

This Canadian tire is the worst store in the entire city. Employee service is apathetic at best. The stock is never what is shown available on the website and if you can find an employee they will simply blame the system rather then check if there is stock. No one ever answers the phone in the automotive department. This has happened this month with a coffee maker, all season tires and an outdoor rug. After 3 poor experiences, I’m done. I no longer will be trying to shop at Canadian Tire.

If I could give a zero I would, no curbside pickup no customer service to answer phone went in on Sunday to pick up an order 1 person working the customer service desk, just gave up after 25 minutes of waiting. The store is a mess. No curbside pickup parking spots left no knowing where to go.and no managers avail or calls retured

Absolutely atrocious curbside system. I completed an order on Wednesday Apr 15. They processed payment almost instantly. Today is Apr 21, yet to recieve email to pick up my order. And yes, I have called the store and customer service.both essentially said I have to be patient and wait.
Thankfully curbside is no longer our only option!

My husband and I went purchased a riding mower. A young man, by the name of David, was called over from Hardware to help us. He was very helpful and kind. He watched while the mower was set up for.us, answered our questions and was very thorough in his approach to problem solving. Excellent service from all the staff.

One of my favourite stores. But shelf stock is terrible, and store associate service non existent, and when you do find an associate they are generally miserable. Don't count on their app having accurate stock numbers either.

I used to like this shop, but today really feel sad because I got discrimination by the security person. Although he has apologized to me, another people in the counter is not friendly at all. When I walk in the shop the security let me take the bag to the counter I asked him why, he said that’s the rule. Okay, I took my bag to my car followed the rules, I had no problem with that. However, I saw another lady with a bag can walk in the shop. But the security is not trying to stop her. I asked him why.he said that’s a small bag, but when I said my bag is same size bag. He kept saying my bag is big. That’s ridiculous, if the rule is can not let people take their bag in, please obey the rules, there’s no rules written big and small bag different. I started feeling this is kind of discrimination, judging me by different colour skin. I tried to talk to the general manager, but seems like a representative in the counter trying to help me there. I was wrong, she was just trying to blame me why I am breaking the rules, I said I haven’t I took the bag to my car, I followed the rules. And come back but see someone with the bag can get in, I am complaint the discrimination, she started asking where that women go, I said let’s see the monitor then the security person apologized to me. What I astonishing is that the lady in the counter who looks like with 20 years experience tell the security guy, “you shouldn’t apologize to him”. That’s really make me angry again, they just trying to let victims guilty, and get rid of the mistake they make, they even haven’t noticed their behaviour is discrimination. That’s a very bad experience I want to say, if this thing happen on themselves what will they think? I respect the rules at the shop, I can all agree, but please don’t judge people in different skin, and behave differently to different skin people. I think it shouldn’t happen in Canadian tire and Thunder Bay, that’s the first time I getting judge after live 6 years in Thunder Bay, Unbelievable!

If you are planning on making an online order or calling something in for curbside pickup, plan on waiting at lest 3 eternities to have your order put together. I have placed a couple such orders, small ones at that, and I swear this store has the slowest order processing times on the face of the earth. Save yourself time and go elsewhere.

Staff are great but companies organization for pick up is lacking, also only had 1 employee present for the 1st 30 mins of the backed up line to the road this AM. Make sure you've got the time to wait, yesterday evening was worse had to turn away as the line was far too long to be safe with road way. Very slow pick up compared to the stores using time slots.

There's a kid who worrrr.scratch that, there's a man who woooooo.alright people! There's a LEGEND who works in the key cutting booth that just made me the GREATEST fitting keys I've ever had cut! This legend will go down as the greatest key Smith I've ever met. To the key smith in glasses, you work wonders with your key forge! If you were a black smith 4000 years ago they'd still be yelling your name, but I'm glad you're the hero of our time cause I'll be telling your tale for years to come.

Dropped the car off at 7am to have a flat fixed that's on a rim in the back seat.
9.5 hrs later. STILL WAITING.

TRIED CALLING 6 TIMES. NO ANSWER.
FINALLY GOT A HOLD OF THE FRONT COUNTER AND THEY JUST TOLD ME THAT IT'LL BE BROUGHT INTO THE GARAGE SOON.

Getting pretty sick and tired of the BS happening at this store they are selling $10 trailer tickets that are expired.everyone at customer service just hangs up on you or gives attitude. I'm done with this location and everyone else should switch as well.

Not a big fan of the thunder centre Canadian tire. Too much stuff scattered everywhere. Seems really unorganized. And I can't stand looking at the huge eye soar in the parking lot everytime I drive up. (big blue mckevitt trailers) I only go here if I really have too. I will stick to the Arthur Street location.
