Your service department employees are the laziest, most useless employees I've ever dealt with in my life. I guess when you pay people minimum wage you can't expect much from them, but maybe add more staff if your employees aren't capable of working.

Took car there after warning came up in car. The shop fixed it twice in one week, charged me a second time for a fix they screwed up the first time. And after the second fix, and over 500 dollars later, the car warning still comes up. Car undrive-able.
Turns out, they replaced a burst coolant pipe. Twice, and twice did not refill the coolant! For that much money you'd think they'd fill you up on some fluid on the shop. Or.at the very least, tell your customer to fill it up! NOPE. I drove the car empty on coolant for a month because they didn't bother telling me they're too cheap to fill up the coolant themselves; or too incompetent to let me know it's empty after empty it, and I need to do it myself.
Do not give this place your money.

Has a wonderful variety of indoor decor and outdoor yard equipment as well as sporting equipment.

Fantastic place for shopping. Not forget to check weekly flyer before shopping it has good deals sometimes.

They have an espresso machine on the floor that I would have liked to purchase. It's on display but they no longer carry this one, only have similar models for sale, not the one that I would like and not the one they are showing. They explained they are keeping it as the display for the newer model ~ that has has different features.it's frustrating because I got the impression they will just leave it on the floor as the display model and sell a different model with other features to customers. Be ware when purchasing and make sure it's the one you want. The good news is they have a great return policy

Two for One Review - Based on Experience with Owen Sound Store and Weber St. N.store in Waterloo

1 Star Owen Sound - because I don't know how to give a half star rating. Half star because M answered the phone 10 minutes before the store was closing.

5 Star - Waterloo on Weber St.

Terrible customer service in Owen Sounds - Auto Service Department. Tuesday of last week I contacted the Owen Sound Canadian Tire auto service department, as I was having ongoing issues with a tire decided to replace all four tires on my truck. I called in at approximately 4: 50 PM and spoke with an employee, "M" and provided him with the brand I prefer, all sizes and the speed rating. He stated at least five times that the store is closing at 5 PM. He stated he did have an opening on Friday and would check to see if he can get the tires. After a minute or so he said there are two tires that can go on my truck, that I need to go online and pick which one and then call in first thing the next morning to secure the spot on Friday. I was told he would not book me in to the spot until I found and confirmed the tires. Phone call ended at 4: 58. By 5: 01 PM I was on the Canadian Tire (CT) website, found the "1" set of tires I was looking for with all the numbers I provided - Not two sets, the set!

I called in first thing the next morning and the same employee answered the phone. I reminded him of our call the day before. He said he remembered and then proceeded to tell me he is very busy with a line up of people out the door.he asked if I could call back later. I said you told me to call in right away to secure the only Friday spot available. I stated I found the tires on the CT website by running the brand name and dimensions with the 116T speed rating. He then proceeded to tell me I had to go back on and find the CT product code and call back in. He hung up.

I knew I had to be in Waterloo on July 10 and I have great experiences with the Auto Service department at the Weber St.location. I called and told the service rep what I was looking - Set of four, brand name and size + speed rating. I said I didn't have the CT product number and immediately after I finished my sentence he stated: "I have four in stock - When do you want to come in? " I booked for 8 AM July 10th. Total time on phone - less than 5 minutes!

Today's July 12th and as always, great experience with the team in Waterloo. Terrible experience in Owen Sound - Will never again set foot inside the Owen Sound CT! Perhaps if "M" in Owen Sound had not repeatedly told me the store closes at 5, he would have found the tires, had me booked and off the phone by 4: 55 ish.

Suggestion: Perhaps "M" from the Owen Sound store can be sent to the Waterloo shop for customer service training/retraining.

Waterloo - Always helpful and friendly service. To date I have had several vehicles serviced and have found the staff to be approachable, knowledgeable and honest!

I’m currently visiting from the US, after a day of hard driving my truck wouldn’t start without help of a jumper box, I called everywhere else even other locations- this was the only one kind enough to accommodate me and fit me in, they did an inspection on my starting and charging system just to make sure my battery really WAS the issue, (rather than just replacing and not caring like I’ve encountered before)
All in all, can’t say enough good things about this place. Between the staff as well as the services offered, They really helped me out and got me back on the road:)

The customer staff is rude, impatient and not helpful at all. They are a little racist too

I had a fantastic experience this morning with the automotive department. I came in thinking that I would have to replace a tire as it had become deflated overnight. They not only fixed the tire right then and there but they were able to squeeze me in without an appt.

This Canadian Tire Location is operated by scammers. The Auto service team is a joke. The makes you change unnecessary changes. Beware of this Auto Service People's. They are not doing things correctly. I am filing a complaint against this place to the Ministry of Transportation. Auto Service is operated by SCAMMERS. Get OFF

The service dept is great! I've been taking vehicles there for years. The store is large, with a good layout. Every year their garden center is amazing!

Great new way to pick items online. Very fast and efficient with lockers. Once you make an online purchase you can retrieve your item (s) very quickly. Highly recommended.

Staff in the main department are always friendly.

On the website it clearly states you can drop off old tires to help with programs such as resurfacing children’s playgrounds.

Upon calling I was told they won’t take more than 4 tires. This leaves me throwing out at the dump which it states also on the website it is something they are trying to help prevent…I guess I can understand it due to potential limited space etc. I think a limit should be clearly stated on the website however.

I love Canadian Tire master card, It feels great when I use points to purchase items I need.
