Extremely disorganized. Pathetic customer service and a lack of accountability are just a few reasons to avoid this location.

Can’t wait for a generic customer service reply to this review that attempts to show the slightest bit of care for their customers.

The black Friday sales were amazing. Customer service was very helpful when I was looking for an item from the flyer I received in the mail. The only thing that sucked was getting denied for a credit card. Lol

I am not happy theirs customers service, especially the cashier no appreciation or personal service.

I wanted to buy a patio chair today. The price tag showed $125, and I usually inquire about prices before making a purchase. So, I approached one of the employees, who scanned it and confirmed the price to be $125. After about 5 minutes, an elderly lady approached me and offered the chair for $125. I agreed and said I'd pick it up the next day. She then asked for payment and to create a bill. After I provided all my information, she apologized and said the actual price was $399. I was surprised and frustrated. I explained that it wasn't my fault, as I had confirmed the price twice with two different employees, both of whom said it was $125. She called the manager, Angela, who was rude and unhelpful, refusing to honor the deal. If a manager can't handle situations like this, it makes me wonder why the company hired her and the other employees.

New management is aweful! Only money hungry. They no longer price match at this location only. You will loose tons of customers and just lost 100’s from me today. Save your money and go to the one on Queensways, their service is 10/10 and have better prices

Great for finding products for everything but not enough floor staff for customer assistance

Called as I needed one patio chair to complete my set and they were kind enough to pull it from the back and held it at customer service desk where I was able to buy it

Worst service ever! Waited over 20 mins for help in parts department just wanted touch up paint. No employees would help me just pass me off to next employee. Never coming here again!

Today I went this store for my car battery change, the supervisor of parts and service Mr. Wayne was so rude and unpleasant. Very disappointed from his behavior. He should understand that he is working at customer service desk. And we are paying not getting free things

As an fan of Canadiantire, I've shopped at many different locations across the country. There are some locations that don't provide the same kind of positive experience but this Dundas location is not one of them. I've always had very positive experiences here and their stock is well managed. I've dealt with the manager Ryan who is truly a standup guy. You can tell he is very good at his job and cares about what he does. His attitude is a reflection of the rest of the store.

The gentleman in parts helped me in an efficient manner. I had a hard time explaining what I needed for under my hood but he knew what I needed. I walked out very relieved.

I had an appointment booked for 3: 30pm at the auto shop, for an oil change and to swap to winter tires.

Waited 45mins, they still didn't bring it in, so I wait 20mins in line to make sure they have my number. Meanwhile I hear a dude in front of me say he was told by his nephew who works there to "just come in after 4pm" despite them saying they have no more room. Guy is taken in.

Come back nearly 3 hours after my appointment time and see my car sitting in the same place. Wait 15mins in line while dude whose nephew works there pays and is on his way. My car hasn't been touched.

Absolute waste of time.

Richard at the Auto Center was amazing. In the short time we had to chat about my car issue he showed a high level of customer service and was able to provide a solution for me that was above and beyond what i expected. He really knows his stuff and after everything I was beyond satisfied with his service - he proved that he’s keeping customer experience top of mind. He had an in-training tag on but he’s already given me the best experience I’ve had at a Canadian Tire Auto center

Big store! Store is always fully stocked. Has self checkout which is great. Convenient location with the Marks across the parking lot and a CT gas station.

I have ordered online for store pick up and they would take forever to process or cancel order. It’s better to go the store to buy the item at times.

I wish there were separate ratings for the retail outlet vs.the autoshop. The store itself is fine and deserves a 4 or 5 star rating. The autoshop on the otherhand is terrible. I feel bad for the mechanics there who seem like nice people and are trying their best, but they are severely understaffed and the systems they have in place are very disorganized. Because of this, jobs are rushed and done improperly or incomplete. Even with an appointment, I waited 3 hours for a simple tire change (rims were on already). Gentleman in the waiting room with me waited over 4 hours for a battery change. Even worse, they installed my hubcaps incorrectly and I had to get this fixed by another mechanic at my own expense.

I think that’s a terrible Canadian Tire, it’s a headache to have to pick up an order from here. They will not find the items you ordered (happened more than 2 times) and won’t even bother to apologize for the inconvenient. They very unorganized. And what’s even worst is the management (at least the manager I spoke to was), she didn’t even care about customer service or customer satisfaction! Oh well, luckily there are better stores out there ‍.

Always have what I need at a reasonable price.
Auto service customer is hit and miss though. Most of the staff are awesome except 1 nasty man with an attitude. You know who you are.

My friend could have died because the people in the auto shop were negligent about the work they were doing on his car. Never bring your car here to be fixed.

DO NOT GET YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE.worst service we have ever experienced in our entire life. We were charged nearly $1000 for a job that would have costed half of that anywhere else as we got quoted from other places afterwards. The money was not even the concern as we paid for the charge and went about our life. This is a much more serious issue. The job itself was not completed and almost costed my boyfriend his life as the original problem with the car was not fixed and this resulted his engine to sieze. We now also have $7000 in damages that Canadian Tire refuses to fix as they're denying any fault in the matter, not that we would let them touch the car anyways as we have lost all trust with them. This will not be taken lightly. For anyone who is reading this, I hope I at least change your mind from getting your car serviced here. GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE! This automotive department needs to be shut down ASAP!

Went in today for some kerosene containers. Staff very helpful and attentive. Also respectful of mask exemptions. Would definitely recommend location if looking for help in finding something or have a mask exemption.

Unbelievable how this mechanic department operates. Complete dishonesty and gross negligence, among so many other things. Avoid at all costs.

DO NOT buy tires from this store! I wanted to support Canadian owned business and purchased these tires from this location.
3 days later one of them popped on me on the highway, on the left lane and I almost crushed my car. I went to the store and tried to return them as I lost trust in the quality of these Motomaster beauties. Sadly, the owner of the store, Chris (refused to give me his last name) told me that he couldn’t take them back since my dealer installed them. On that day staff of this store couldn’t install these for me so went to my dealer and had these professionally installed.
What really gets me that the owner wouldn’t take even the 3 out of the 4 tires back. I know now that I can’t trust these guys when it comes to customer relations and quality of Motomaster products.
Mr Chris (whatever your last name is) … you just lost a very loyal customer who used to spend a lot of money at your location… good work!

Got most of the stuff we were looking for. Nice convenient place to shop. Slightly high prices compared to competition.

Do not take your car to their service department! Total scammers and very reckless in terms of safety!

Brought my car in to see why there was air in my cooling system causing a little leaking coolant.after later in the day i went in and the report says.your leaking and wouldnt diagnose any further.bunch of scammers

I was able to find the toolbox that was on sale and that was not available in other Canadian Tire location.
The security of the store made me to leave my backpack close to the cash registers because of the shoplifting.
It is their policy.

I was able to find everything I needed because the aisle numbers were correct in the app and when I couldn't, the staff was very helpful:)

Half the stock on the shelfs have been tampered with. Check the seals. Iv bought many item in the last month with something missing or to find out it was used and returned

Unorganized staff and store!
Bring a picture of the items you want to purchase with the items price to the cash so you don’t have to ask for a price check.

Price check can take up to ten minutes with the end result being told the wrong price.

Asked for a price check, sales associate came back quoting wrong price. The sales associate didn’t look down all applicable isles. Had to (as the customer) go check myself and take a picture to show them.

If the items were priced correctly and the price labels on the correct items the experience would have been a lot more smooth.

Their mechanics are scammers and liars. My bestfriend could have lost his life. Never trust these guys!

Please avoid this location; No friendly staff; whenever we tried to approach them they will purposefully move away from You or if we caught them, they will I will check and we will wait waiting for reply; later you can see the same guy is standing in some place cracking jokes with other staffs. Worst experience in Canada, every time.

The manager was very nice, helpful one cashier was not so nice though.

Came to do curbside pick up for an order placed the previous day. Followed the process from the 'your order is ready' email. Process was still pending after 15 mins. Called the number for further assistance and no answer. At this point it's been 25 mins. Went inside to pick up.

Edit after receiving response from owner: The wrong product was under my order. Didn't realize until I got home, that's my fault. The SKU numbers are different. Deducting a star.

Very open not crowded at all. The staff was very helpful in all departments which we walked around in. Also very helpful with suggestion on how to travel with large boxes in vehicle

I really love how this store handled online orders during the lockdown. They're so fast & orders could be picked up same day. A huge store with a variety of items available for everyday use. Thank you for your service!

Went in to ask if they had someone who could do bike adjustments. Spoke to Customer service, they didn't seem very knowledgeable at all. They said they heard that someone might be in on Monday, so if you have a bike that needs an adjustment come early, cause once he's done he's gone and we never know when he's coming back.

Curb side pick order was ready within 2 hours and pick up at drive through in less then 15 minutes. Wow. Best curb side pick up service and time from all the big box store’s.

Quick fast efficient service.

Overall 4 stars. Had a hard time getting my allowed paper towels quantity and drove all the way from Toronto to get them. Ended up shopping there for other items, a manager helped. Thank you

Do do any curbside pickup here. They gave me the wrong box. Clearly and old and used item. When I noticed, they said that I need to purchase something else and return the box.

Not bad for supplies but they should be replaced faster. Shortage of lightbulbs is what I was referring to

Can tire has been stepping up their game and I have used them frequently throughout the pandemic. They are th most organized when it comes to curbside pick up or their in-store via their delivery tower.

We had a great experience at this store! The curb side pick up was organized and moved quickly and the associate that helped us was great!

I've been here only a handful of times & those visits were ok. No help offered/needed & the place was mostly organized/cleaned.

But today when I was hoping for some kind of customer service (a shred of understanding)
I was turned away and told to repurchase and come back when its ready. Here's what happened.

Bought 2 sleds at another C. Tire & upon inspection, 1 of the sleds had a broken handle (upon delivery from curbside pick up)

The worker & my wife verified that there were no more in stock or they would've just gave us a sled that was not broken. I dont want that team to get in trouble for telling me to go to another location and ask if they could help, but this team went about customer service the right away.

I shared what had happened to one of our gifts & we were told "why would they say that, we can't do anything, purchase and come back when its ready. " No asking for advice from a manager or anyone else, just straight no. I could tell this worker did not care and I'm not looking for stress & to put it on anyone else either. So I'm going about it through re-purchasing and traveling back again.

Bad customer service (when given an opportunity to shine) & a messed up/unorganized curb side pick up p.lot/driveway are my reasoning for 2 stars.

Considering it was delivered broken to start with, it is not a normal transaction and could've easily been fixed.

4 hours for RIV import inspection and safety. Charged me 150 for a safety inspection. I would take my business elsewhere next time.

Poorly trained staff, poor customer service. Online is the way to go. Why would anyone shop here.baffles me.

Big store. Allies stuffed with things. Hard to get around. Clean and bright. Not many staff and difficult to find.

Out of 15 CT locations I have visited I like this location the most.
A great size with ample parking, well organized ilses, surprisingly well stocked (I have always have great luck with their sales, never have to ask for a raincheck like other location or had to go elsewhere).
I like visiting here for father's day gifts. Their sales are incredible.

I wanted to buy an electric blanket for a gift. They are showing they sell them online. Asked three staff and no one knew where they would be. Turns out there was nothing available for such a large store.

Big Canadian Tire with a Service center, Garden center and Gas Station. They have pretty good sales.

Wanted to buy ice fishing suit but there was none in the store to try for size so I was told to buy on line and I asked what happens if it's not the right size and I had to make a return and order different size l was told that I would be charged 15% restocking fees this purchase was not made went to competitor no problem

Long line up's at cash with Thier self check out was closed. Stores should be ready for the Christmas shopping season

Online ordering is just like any other retailer. They just don't get it, the reasons why people like me do online ordering is 1. It's convenience, we don't have to hunt for the product on the shelves and 2.we paid for the item (s) and expect to be able to drive by and pick them up in one go.

Like every other retailer, canadian tire group the online pickup line with the customer service line where people can do returns and exchange. THIS SUCKS big time, because when you get into the store and expect to pickup your orders quick, guess what you're stuck behind 6-7 people doing returns and exchange, receipts has to be verified, product has to be checked.on and on. So by the time, it's your turn to pickup your online order it's 10-15 minutes waiting for your turn.if you're lucky! Don't do it people, don't order online and do store pickup, it's not worth it. You're better off with looking for the product on the shelves! NEVER AGAIN!

Few people help at the auto service. Knowledgeable staff but always a long wait to ask anything at the desk especially after 6pm

Black Friday shopping deals! Woohoo this location had lots of stock, bought my instant pot! Staff are top shelf and very helpful such great service on a very busy weekend!

I bought a 3step ladder from here for $29.99 was $49.99.love it. Customer service is kind of not too pleasant here as they look and act underpaid on the cashier especially younger ones

The store itself is well organized and we like their products in general. I don't like going to this particular location because you will be hunted down in the aisles multiple times by people trying to get you to sign up for the Canadian Tire MasterCard. They won't take no for an answer and you have to basically get rude with them before they leave you alone. Totally ruins the shopping experience here. I will sometimes go out of my way to go to a different location because this practice is so annoying.

Use to be good store jares ago. Return policy corrected by owners to almost zero. You won't be able to return nothing even for store credit.

Canadian tire auto service is unreasonably expensive. I visited their Mississauga branch and they charged me 100$ for tire installation and another 100$ for tire balancing, taxes extra. I witnessed how they did tire balancing in Just 2 minutes! Later I learned that Costco does both installation and balancing for $60 and the authorized dealer of my vehicle does the same job for $100. I paid 200$ for what could have been done for $60 to $100. I felt as if I was cheated. Further, they quoted me 900$ for brake pad change. The authorized dealer of my vehicle quoted me 400$ for the same job. This was my last visit to Canadian tire auto service.
