Was given mixed information about winter tire service. I was told that there are no appointments so come in at 7: 30am and I could be squeezed in with the appointments that day. When I arrived at 7: 30am I was told that they are fully booked and they never squeeze people in. Then they proceeded to not be able to find the tires I ordered.kind of a disaster

Usually Cdn Tire locations have great service, however this location falls short of the Corporate expectations. Hoping they are open to suggestions on how they can improve.

WORST Canadian tire customer service I ever have. Avoid this store at all you cost! The manager there think they are not under the brand of Canadian tire. So they don’t want you to return any purchases from other Canadian store, even you return meet all qualifications. This is what he exactly said: I don’t wants this product in this store.period. And kick you out with security guards. Guys, if you come to this location, good luck! Already file a complaint on consumer protection Ontario.

Long over due 5 star review for Rob the Auto Service Manager. Went into to get a flat tire repair for our 2013 Tuscon during Covid lockdown. I had no receipt for The Canadian Tire Purchased and installed Tires. He and his staff provided excellent service not to mention he did the repair free of charge

This location is extremely well stocked with a huge variety of inventory. The staff here is very friendly, courteous and helpful. The automated order pickup system is so futuristic.

I changed my winter tires a week ago and was told to come after 150 km for re-tourqing. I went there 3 times different days and times and every time was turned back! It's a 2 minutes job.worst customer service ever.

Horrible customer service and management. Returned a soaker hose after I used it once and was told that this item is not ours because the colour is different! Who would lie for $17? ! I left the item there and got no money back. Raised it to the manager’s attention but he could not care less either. Their return policy is very bad in general so I have been shopping much less frequently at Canadian tire and have chosen Home Depot, Amazon, etc instead. In this market if customers are not given top priority they would go elsewhere.

I went to this Canadian tire branch and I saw discount signage, when I went to pay, they told me this item not on sale and I show them the signage they talk with me rudely and with big attitude and refused to discount it for me.

I am disappointed in this store, the staff is aggressive, they cheated at the checkout for 32 dollars, and at the same time I had to wait about 25 minutes for my money to be returned, the staff, which consists of very young and inexperienced people, are not in a hurry to quickly do their job. Sorry this is my last visit to this store. I will pass it on to my friends

See lots of auto repair complaints - I'll add mine. Went in for a specific problem, they didn't 'find' any issue but got quoted approx. 1K for other things they did find. Didn't do the repair. Went in for a second time with the exact same problem as the first (should have known better) and now they 'found' the problem, another $500.over $1,500 paid.and low and behold, my original issue has not been fixed.and to make things worse, they messed doing the other work. After complaining, what I got was a ridiculously rude repair shop manager who first tried to brush off my issue - told me it was 'debatable'. When pushed he said he'd refund some money out of 'goodwill'. And when I pushed further (upset but respectfully), he snapped (in writing!). NEVER going back to a Canadian Tire! Oh, and I should mention the mess up was on the brakes!
I have never given a bad review to anyone but if you can't trust Canadian Tire with your brakes - it's more than a good reason to visit another professional mechanic who knows what they are doing.

Extremely misleading & disrespectful staff! I went for an oil change and complaint about a light on my dashboard, the guy working at the register called to tell me I had to change my air filter and oil and turned the desktop computer to me and I said is that the price all together he said yes! It showed 83 something and I waited until they finished! He called me up again and told me I was ready to be cashed out and the girl at the register told me my total was now $178? !? ! (Plus tax too as the guy stated while he walked back to his computer) I was in shock! I confronted the guy and he told me it’s the price for oil+ air filter ok? And why didn’t you tell me this price when I asked you what the total was! I WAS EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED AND WONT BE COMING HERE ANYMORE! And another staff (male) whistled at a customer cause the guy didn’t hear him? !? !? Like excuse me nobody is your dog around here! No professionalism at all at this location They have such high egos and they’re so misleading! Horrible experience.

If you want to waste your time then do curbside pickup with Canadian Tire! Its currently 4pm on a Monday and they're still working on orders from the day before. The email said it would take 2 hours 2 hours ago and now they're saying I have to come back tomorrow! I literally ordered a jump rope and they can't just get it for me, terrible customer service. It really shows that they are understaffed and they wonder why amazon is taking over!

Purchased tires a few weeks ago from CT. Today I was driving and picked up a screw in one tire. They were able to get me in right away and the patch/fix was covered under warranty. Very happy.

Staff working hard during the pandemic, koodos to them.
When I visited it was clear the online pickup system is such high demand there are no parking spots to meet it. Feels like management should have a secondary section ready should there be need. Shouldn't have had to circle 8 times then camp a parking spot. Alternatively allow people to just go to the door for the pick up.

Curbside pick up was super quick. I’ve heard horror stories about hardware store curbside and was scared to go do my pick up. I did go on a weekday so not sure if it’s busier on weekends. Only concern was that canadian tire sent me an email that said my order was ready to pick up on Friday and then on Saturday and then sent another email saying an item was cut which was weird since they said come get it on Friday so I don’t know what changed from Friday to Saturday.

I booked an appointment for a safety got atterude from service advisor we don’t care about online you need to call mechanic sleeping said their was a nail meanwhile it was a rose thorn I caught it said problem with windshield meanwhile only was glue and third wiper blade sun bent it to sun I bent it back so straight they instead there a noche show me were in the picture and I’ll buy you a coffee

Worst canadian tire auto i have ever been. Inexperience crews working. Waited for 2.5 hours for tire change. When we checked in, they said it will be done in 45 mins max.

Curbside pick up was very smooth. Without in store shopping the employees were able to pick it same day, so two hours after ordering it was ready.

For your ROAD SAFTY! DO NOT come here for auto service.even changing your tires. I had a very very bad experience. They hv very unreliable Techinicians. They damaged my rim n tires which I paid $5500 from the dealership.they denied for the damage. No use to complain to the management cos they are as bad. I STRONGLY suggest you go else where if you care about your family and your own life. Please

Total time spent dealing with the staff was over 3hrs to replace a defective battery that has coverage under warranty.
Was told Manufacturer warranty on replacment battery will not be fully honoured.
Replacement battery given to me looked VERY used and was told that it was the only one left.
Documents were given to me torn, re-taped and concealed with other paperwork instead of reprinting or even out-right stating they made an error.going over my documents seeing this upon exit, I went back and told them that this action was a slap in the face.
They then acknowledged that they had initially ripped, discarded and re-taped my contract and that it was closing time and that everything would need to be voided and re-processed in order to reprint documents.
I would NOT reccomend this Canadian Tire location to others. 3200 RUTHERFORD RD, MAPLE. STORE #653

Wow! Never had such a poor experience at a Canadian tire store. I needed to pick up a set of work gloves that were locked. Almost walked around for 10-15 mins looking for an employee. The entire back end of the store from the tools section to the sports section had no employees around. But when I decided to walkout, there were 4-5 employees at the customer service desk. What a poorly run store. By far the worst Canadian tire store I’ve ever been to. Not recommended. Took me less time to post this review.

Employee in store walked past without saying anything and when I asked a question, she bluntly pointed me to the area. Many employees huddled chatting while I was looking for item. Discouraging to shoppers who aren't familiar with particular or specific items.

Blew a tire on the 400 Sunday. Was towed to the Rutherford Canadian tire. Service manager told me to leave my car till Tuesday. I told him I do not live in the area and if he could please help me. He shrugged his shoulder saying too bad and walked away. Worst experience ever. Zero customer service

This store has the worst general manager I ever saw. I have a lot friends who has been customer for this store, but because of his racist and poor management. They stopped buying from this store. I would recommend Canadian tires to hire another manager. Top of this alot people customers told me this manager treats customer differently. This is a no room for racism and hate in Canada.

Auto Service desk has to many kids working there with no knowledge of vehicles. Sometimes you will wait there for about 10 mins or more for a associate. The service auto repair guy Vito ended up helping me out and he was more helpful than those at the desk. Overall they need to hire more knowledgable associates rather tha just bodies to stand there.

Stranded here last night after a tire blew on the highway. Had to get a hotel in Vaughan as nothing was open. Went to Canadian Tire first thing in the morning to buy a new tire. They were very rude and wouldn't help us until 4pm, and wanted to charge us $250. We called fountain tire and they offered to PICK US UP, and get us a new tire for $133. Customer service is night and day

I had 3 flat tires in one week, talk about unlucky. I brought my vehicle in for repairs all three times, and they were nice and didn't charge me for the last 2 times. Much appreciated.

Absolutely horrendous customer service from three separate employees approx 2: 30pm today. All three were completely uninterested in an inquiry and extremely unfriendly. I have never before encountered such disgusting customer service - management should really be aware of this, as it will only drive people further away.

The auto service department totally lacks customer service skills. Their ineptitude and rudeness should be a major cause of concern to the franchise and management of this location. I have wasted more than 7 hours in total trying to get repairs done on my car verified for the issuance of a safety certificate. My experience has been most distasteful. What should have been a small saving turned out to be 7 hours of going back and forth 4 times before a simple process could be completed. Never again.

Service dept is very rude. First off when I got there the one lady told me to wait for the other. This lady had no customer didn’t say a word to me and made me wait almost 5 min while she did something on her computer before she greeted me. I called prior to getting there and asked how long the safety would take and if they could take me right now. Once I got there she told me it would be about an hour before they can get to my car. When I asked the other lady why she told me it would take an hour she said I guess you want to hear what you want to hear how rude she was to me was disappointing granted my actions for getting upset at the way she talked to me was unacceptable but the way she talks to customers is very rude. This was my first and last time trying Canadian tire service.

I called the service department here this morning to inquire about getting an E test done. After I was connected a woman said something so quickly and in a mumbled voice that I had to ask if this was indeed the service department. She just kept saying hello in an accent of sorts. Our connection was fine I'm sure she was just being rude. When I finally got confirmation that it was indeed the service department I proceeded to ask if I need an appointment, to which she replied very shortly that it was first come first serve. (I was told it was a 2 hour wait btw).
I will not go here for service if my car is broken down in the parking lot. Whatever happened to good old fashioned customer service where people tried to get your business? Take note Canadian Tire manager/owner. This miserable rude lady is losing you business.

This place has the worst ever automotive department. Donut eating employees care more about their breakfast than their customers. Why don't you do what the rest of us do eat your breakfast before you come to work or on your way. Upper management doesn't care because the stores are franchised they brazenly don't care they will tell you to your face to complain to head office. Horrible attitude from the store managers so what do you expect the employees to pick up on. Best part of the store is the cashiers sad but true. Hope you close down so another retailer can open up in the area.

CT has some of the worst store policies in the world, and this store is an example of that fact. Worst customer service ever. Leadership comes from the top down, so this store is very apathetic.

I'm getting hot and bothered fighting the store manager Joe Perreira over a few dollars, and buddy in front of me is returning Christmas lights from a year ago, no receipt. Nice.

I can't believe that this is the battle I'm fighting, but when poor policies like this are implemented and compounded with poor management, it has to be fought. So I'll be calling Head Office

Went 3 times to the Auto centre to patch one tire and each time was told they cannot do it for me. The first time, I was told that they don’t have time and to come back the next day. I asked if they take appointments and she said no, just walk-in. I went back the next day at 9am and was refused service again. The day after, I showed up before they opened and they said no AGAIN. I was told that they “can’t control the weather outside and the next available appointment is over a month from now. ” How would they know when their next available appointment is when I was initially told that they do not even take appointments in the first place. Also, I did not ask anyone to “control the weather outside” so there was no need for the unecessary comment. The weather was perfectly fine outside the first 2 times I showed up and was refused service.

This location, like all their locations, have undergone a significant facelift. Shelves are stocked, items are east to find, and the staff is helpful.
