The New Canadian at customer service who checked me out was one of the least friendly cashiers I've ever interacted with.

The best part was when she decided to jam her finger in her ear right in front of me before using that hand to give me my receipt.

No chance I'll shop at this Canadian Tire again just because of her downright insulting and completely disgusting "customer service".

Great store. Lots on sale this week and the Garden Center is stocked with a pretty good selection of plants and gardening planters and pots. Some early season hanging baskets are already on sale.

Customer service in sports/hunting dept was phenomenal! Employee was very knowledgeable and obviously passionate about firearms/hunting and related merchandise. Store is well staffed, lots of smiles! Always manage to purchase something!

My go to store for most house hold items and repairs. Vehicle maintenance also. I've always been treated respectfully and had any issues dealt with fairly.

We bought this lovely new tv stand/fireplace. It comes with a remote, has adjustable thermostat setting, fire light settings, display and a sleep timer. I love the sliding doors and all the storage space. It was interesting to set up but worth it. "You gotta check it out ️"

Absolutely awful, the workers are all young and rude, half the time no one can help you. They call for people and no one comes. This place needs A LOT of work. Snooty teenagers. Smh. Very disappointed in this establishment.

My trips into this store have always been good. Staff are super helpful. Today being no exception. However when I was checking out the manager was talking with an older man about some mirrors he bought. It was a clearance item i believe. The manager refused to take back a product someone put in the box and the was upset. The product didn't match up to what he bought. We aren't allowed to open anything in store. So how was this guy to know it wasn't what he was buying. Things were getting pretty heated and the manager wouldn't even offer instore credit to the man. I just stood there in disbelief. Shame this had to tarnish the wonderful image of the store i had. I know it's just one thing. But it's what i will remember now.

This is about as useless of a place as it gets. I’ve ordered multiple items from this location over the past months and every time there’s been an issue.

The biggest issue this store has is showing something is in stock and then nobody can find anything. It causes problems trying to order stuff because their stock is counted incorrectly and no one seems to do anything about it since some product numbers have been showing the same stock for months when I know they don’t actually have it. That or just not ordering the right product.

Meanwhile we’re stuck standing at the customer care desk like a bunch of turkeys waiting for our items while the staff have their powwows sipping on their icecaps and all I’m gonna get is a generic reply to my review saying their sorry for my bad experience.

A lot of the staff seem to be reluctant to help you out. Not all, but some, and that is extremely irritating.

Weird layout, don't bother going to the customer service desk for anything. The girl will ignore you then eventually tell you to go to the other desk for a return, that woman will ignore you then tell you to get in the general check out line, where you'll have to wait for an entire crown of people to check out at the other checkout till you can have it line up for you to go to the only checkout for returns.

No other CTC does it this way.

Took 10-15 mins to return one item. Hardly worth it.

Well organized, clean, and convenient great service and very warm and friendly staff, with quality and reasonable prices.

I have been going to Canadian Tire for vehicle repairs for several years now. There has never once ever been a time where I was disappointed with the service provided on my car. Nicole and Nick have always gone out of their way to “squeeze me in” and I have always left happy and knowing my vehicle was given the best care. Most importantly I am given the truth as to upcoming repairs that will need to be taken care of etc. Not only do I feel safe with the work being done on my vehicle, I am extremely satisfied. Thank you very much for the work you did on my vehicle last week. Runs like a champ.

Was traveling through and my tire light came on, it was after 5 o'clock and I wasn't sure the service department would have been open. Sure enough the tech Nick doesn't miss a beat and helps me out to get me back on the road. Thanks Nick!

There's only one cash open at one time on busy Saturday afternoons and the way things are set up you have to wait in line to leave the store through the exit doors. Other then that the staff are helpful, friendly and most things advertised are found in store.

I love the fishing and hunting section in this place it reminds me of a mini bass pro or cabellas, and the person helping me was really knowledgeable I will definitely be coming back hear for all my hunting and fishing needs.

Slow at the register but still the best one stop shop for everything you need. Not having to run all over town looking for something, Canadian Tire has it.

Always have a great experience everytime I shop. The auto center is the best experience I've had. If they couldn't fix the issue it would be because it's a ford issue that only could be fixed at a ford dealership (anti theft). Would always be my first choice no matter where I am to get my car towed to the experts at New Liskeard canadian tire. Always feel welcome shopping with them. That's why I go back every second day if I can. Not to mention the owner John Goodlad sure knows how to run a store and provide a welcoming experience.

Customer service in the paint department is awful. Will not be returning at this store for paint.

Been going here for a while. They have a good stock of tools. Ussually impossible to find a staff memeber tho.

Great selection, lots of stock (too much at times as it gets crowded). As with most/all Canadian Tire stores we go to, it seems staff tend to avoid making eye contact or engaging customers. Many are excellent at it. I suspect this is more the students and should be emphasized as needed engagement. Oh and the search on web and app is an exercise in frustration!

Lots of stuff to look at. Very hard to get someone to help you. Isles are very tight. It's hard to practice social distancing. They have improved the speed of going through the cash.

A financial mistake was made while purchasing tires. I returned to the store, and talked to Colin at the customer service desk. He was super helpful and friendly. He helped as much as he could til the auto service manager Nicole got off lunch and corrected a fairly complicated issue. Not once did they make me feel as though I was bothering them even though they weren't the ones who made the mistake in the first place. Exceptional customer service is not easy to come by, but Canadian Tire definitely should do everything to keep these two employees happy!

Always has excellent customer service and inventory. Staff is super helpful and know where things are in the store. Would recommend this store over anything else in the area.

We honestly hate going into Canadian Tire in New Liskeard because the customer service is so poor. I went in on Saturday October 10th looking to purchase a cookware set and i knew where in the store to find them. Well they were not there so i went to the closest customer service desk, rang the bell, and waited. I waited for 30 minutes as the audio system called for an associate to go to where i was, over and over and over again. A few associates walked right by me, never once offering assistance. Finally a young man came over, i think he was a manager, and was very nice and helped me find what i was looking for.
I would recommend ordering online and picking up in store, but we have done this as well and the customer service is still awful.
We avoid purchasing anything at Canadian Tire in New Liskeard because the customer service is so poor and we will continue to avoid it in the future!

Cm'on now.it's Canadian Tire! What's not to like. I always go in thinking I only need one thing and a hundred and fifty bucks later I'm on my way home with a bunch of stuff I didn't know I needed.

I buy most of my appliances, kitchen wear, tools, fishing gear, etc.at Canadian tire. Always good value

Store is cluttetered and disorganized. Not all product is priced. Cashier paged for price check and no one responded for over 5 minutes

Although the selection is good the store is always over crowded, aisles cluttered which makes it hard to find items as well as navigate the floor space.

Well laid out store, friendly staff, easily accessible in town and fantastic deals. We purchased everything we needed for our new house here when we moved to town including paint, lighting, tools, and home essentials.

Floor staff and cashiers friendly. But Product on sale there was no stock. And no raincheck or ability to prepay

Recently moved into a new house and made many trips to this Canadian Tire location for all of my home reno needs. Helpful staff, convenient online pickup, and lots of products to choose from in-store.

The merchandise i was searching for was listed as being there. The staff made a little attempt to locate it but gave up soon afterwards
The item was ordered and pre paid and it came on sale the following week. Nobody said nothing. $100.00 is alot of money. I got money back and will only buy on hand stuff. 7 to 10 days to ship from Brampton. WTF.

Service is usually pretty good. Never really wait too long at cash. Only reason I can’t give 5 stars is the size of the parking lot is smaller than average. About 40% is taken up by a permanent green house and merchandise for sale.

Excellent service from Ryan in the automotive department. I was passing through town with my two young children, when I noticed I had a very low tire and fast leak. They brought my car in right away and I was back on the road in no time. The mechanics were also very helpful and friendly. Thank you!

Very impressed with Canadian Tire! Service was exceptional! Had a flat tire and no hubby home to fix it so I took it to Canadian Tire and they had me back on the road within 20 minutes.amazing!

We were just there and ended up putting our stuff back on the shelf! Along with a few other people! ONE cash open and a line up that wasn't moving! WTH?

On Friday May 17th, 2019 my family was driving from Timmins Ontario to Niagara Falls Ontario for a vacation.

We had stopped at the Walmart located next to this Canadian Tire when we ran into some vehicle issues.

I approached the service department at your store and this is where you blew me away.

Not only to the gentleman behind the counter help out with what he could, but the mechanic he sent to help me was amazing.

They both went above and beyond for my family and I can't thank them and Canadian Tire enough for basically coming to the rescue and same my families vacation.

My experience at this location was above and beyond expectations. A sudden issue with my truck on a Saturday would have caused a severe impact on my upcoming work schedule - after a few setbacks, the CT team pulled off an unbelievable win in OT! Three members were dedicated to getting me back on the road almost two hours beyond the scheduled closing time for the garage. Also, the cost was very reasonable for the effort pu forth. With not many options in the area on weekends, I drove away very impressed with the service i received from personnel at this location. Thanks, guys!

Need to make sure their shelves are stocked with the items instead of randomly around the store though.

This store actually shows that they care, unlike the North Bay store. When management gets involved here they want to do what is right for their customers.
