Canadian Tire

I was rudely spoken to by the manager at this place Greg Beattie, whom also accused me of being racist when I ask that if I could have a different mechanic do my tires do to the fact that the first time they did them it was a different guy & I had a lot of shaking & play in my steering wheel & driving capability, it had nothing to do with being racist, but I’m sure had I have been a man asking that he would have never spoken to him in the disrespectful tone that he used with me! I have been a long time customer at Canadian tire & never have I been treaded in this manner, I was always satisfied with the professionalism & work they performed up until today! I Will never have anything to do with this garage ever again! Also my appointment was at 10am it is now 12pm & I am still waiting for them to finish with my tires from what I can see there is only 1 or 2 tires put on if that! My vehicle is the Green Toyota Tacoma!

Only leaving 1 star because can’t leave 0 stars. I’ve used my status card on my phone for years and just today I was refused by Laura the logistics manager to be able to use my card that way. Told her I’ve lost my card and that I was in the process of getting my new SCIS card from Ottawa but it takes awhile. I was in the store a week ago and no problems using it then on my phone but she didn’t want to hear it. There is no policy regarding using my card physically or digitally with Canadian Tire, I asked for her to show me where it says I need the physical card but she did not want to engage with me any further proceeding to walk away and upon getting to her office door where I was following her asking for the complaints process she slammed the door. Made me want to return all $400 of my purchases right there but my Son really wanted his hockey skates. I WILL NOT RETURN to this Canadian Tire again and I am actively pursuing a complaint for this matter.

The store is looking very good presently, since they've changed the layout. Cashiers are pretty efficient, so no long waits at the cash. Accessing services on the floor while shopping is a hit and miss. I have to say tho, the staff that has been there for years, WORK very hard and are always pleasant. Two men helped with my purchase of a large 3 door wardrobe, and they were exceptional.especially the French gentleman.

I came for the brake pad swap both front and rear. When i came for appointment they took all the tires off to do brake pad. Then they realised they don't have the scanner to do it. Then they said it next week for appointment. Put all my tires back. After that, front tires are making really bad noise. They can’t even pit tires back right. Very disappointed. Bad work ethics. Very rude employees. Never recommend to anyone. I won’t go there anymore. “Timmins Canadian tire”

Love going there and seeing all the decorations they have for different seasons. Staff is nice.

Found most of what I was looking for but I ordered an item on line 4 hours b4 traveling to the store and it wasn't ready and when I went to the counter the called someone to go get it but after another 15 minutes of waiting nothing so I asked for my money back.

Excellent service from Abhilasha saini. I got my card approved and she helped to register my triangle points card too.

Gaurav was very knowledgeable and gave me pointers and tips for Canadian Tire credit card approval, after I was declined in the past several times. A very pleasant gentleman to chat with and has vast understanding of credit scores, the banking system and ways to improve ones score. An asset to the Timmins CT location. If you need a new credit card, talk to this guy!

March 28 2023, the store is going through some transitions, but the staff is very helpful trying to assist customers.

So-so. Decent service. They really try. Though it seems automotive is understaffed. Just Rhonda running the show doing all the paperwork.

Do not buy TVs electronics at Canadian tires when they make mistakes they pin it on you. And you are stiff with the extra cost also I was embarrassed by the employees they said one thing and when I got there it was a totally another thing causing me large embarrassment they treated me wrong they were supposed to trade my TV in for another one which they did not have of so they were offering me another model which I agreed to when I got there they said I had to pay the difference which was not agreed upon I dragged my TV across town for nothing not worth the money

I had hard time to find some gardening hose products today. Cathy helped me out to find the right products and she was very nice to me. It's hard to find people with helping tendency like Cathy. Thank you Cathy!

We needed batteries and the were locked up. We had to be escorted to the cashier like the thought we would steal it. It was not a pleasant experience

The mechanics at Canadian Tire Automotive in Timmins were wonderful. They stayed behind specifically to help with an antifreeze issue on my vehicle, when they didn't have to. I really appreciated the excellent customer service.

What a shock when I went into the store on Feb. 28 and asked where I could find Wallplates by Leviton. Shock that both staff members could Not speak or understand English. How Daft is Canadian Tire to hire people who don't understand. I was looking for help as I am also partly blind and they do not understand what a blind cane is. Won't be going back after this.

This place is by far the best to buy all your household needs anything that Walmart sells that Canadian tire has I will buy at Canadian tire first.

Went in with my partner she has a mask exemption as people walk by without sanitizing there hands, a fifteen year old kid decides to say you have to wear a mask, and I was like she has an exemption she’ faints and hits her head and has one signed by a doctor, he said she can’t be in our store, she has to get out. So we did so but I will never return to your store and the five hundred I do spend there on average each month I will insure to spend elsewhere.

The variety of products is really good, and usually super easy to find what you're looking for, especially when using the app. However, if the shelf is empty, it's not always easy to find someone for help. Otherwise, great place to shop.

The worst canadian tire i have ever been to. Only 1 or if your lucky 2 cashiers available at anytime. Small inventory compared to other cities. Staff too busy talking amongst themselves to serve customers.

I'm from the US AND I make a point to stop at Canadian Tire every time I cross the border. My favorite baking sheets, ever are from this store. Paderno makes a good pan!

I went for a deep cycle battery and Mike came to help me. He was really helpful and professional. That man is the one to talk to!

Service manager in automotive, Robin, really helped us out when we were in a pinch after our truck broke down just outside Timmins. Not only did they have no room for any other appointments but our rig was too big to fit in their bay. He worked outside in the parking lot in between the appointments.

Waited for someone to help at the automove desk no one came asked cashier to send someone no one came was asked by to other people on the floor told them i was waiting two more calls were made nobody came worst service ever heard the same thing from other people witness it for myself

I had to do a curbside pick up and it was my first time doing it so bare with me, the lady who brought out my stuff was VERY rude and she said "you know its curbside pick up not parking lot pick up". Then she shoved all the stuff in my passenger door and left. Talk about poor customer service.

They have the best site to get around and u dont need an account.i have nothing but good things to say here. I have even called from outside for something and got it with in ten min no hassle great job ladies.

Online shopping made easy! Ordered online, got an email the same day saying my order was ready. Drove their and within 5 minutes I had my order and was on my way

There was no one to serve on the floors. Once we did find someone they rushed by saying they were on lunch and pointing to where someone was in another aisle. We kept walking and walking and finally found someone half way across the store. She was busy with another customer, so after quite a long time she did help. Later l asked another employee about return policy and they said policies change go to front of store to ask (carrying our large heavy box). We then passed the one employee who had previously helped us and she knew answer right away. When we got to a long, very slow moving, cash register the employee did not respond to a comment l made pertaining to something they needed to write on our receipt (box previously opened- for return reasons). They did complete the task but not happy with their service.

They never have anything in stock at this store! Very poor inventory management by the new owners. Stores in Kap & Cochrane usually have the items but not Timmins. Location is also awful for anyone living east of the Matagami River. It's no longer my go to store.

Good selection on christmas items presently. However checkout with distancing is not well done. People cut inline because of poor set up.

The customer service sucked there one women couldn't find her scanner walked 10 yards one way then another and back said I don't know where my scanner is.

Shelves were empty, asked about items, backordered, backordered. This is the worst Canadian Tire store I've ever been in.

Sadly the last few times I've been here the service is lacking. And I mean BEFORE the pandemic causing extra stress to those in customer service. I went in to purchase a bag of concrete mix that weighs 66pounds. I was struggling to lift from the floor display to my cart, I asked an employee walking by if he could help me, even by just holding the cart.he said "no" and kept on walking. Kinda disappointing, and I most definitely felt it in my back after.

OK place to shop. Their firearms section last time i looked at it (if they even still have it) is not impressive at all. But they usually have what I'm looking for when it comes to buying tools and car parts i need.

Definitelywell organized. If you're looking for a Canadian Tire in the region, I would recommend this one at this time.

Staff are generally speaking very nice but its almost impossible to get ahold of anyone via phone to follow up on anything/approve work in the garage/ask any questions

Cant get tire for your vehicle, im a essential worker needing tires to travel to work, I brought my $1000 worth of tires to a local shop

They should not allow pets in the store. There are people with pet allergies that can not shop there. Should be service animals only

Had 1 item on line in stock went and see to buy it, they said they were sold out, not impressed

Was in with new 7 month old puppy staff was helpful locating product which
I had number for he return in a short time and was very polite thank him and told all the staff how happy

Shopping here is always somewhat annoying because they're understaffed so you always wind up waiting. However, the staff are helpful and will help you find what you need. Just don't plan on a quick run in trip.

Modern Canadian tire. Needs a greeter at the door who knows where things are.good hours and good parking.

Staff on cash #3 and staff working in the Garden Centre today (Dec31) should be trained, in both customer service and product information. Took too long for a price check and when the worker from the Garden Centre finally came to the cash she confirmed the wrong price. We had to go to the product isle to show her the sale price. The cashier was less than friendly as we waited while she put 5 other people through the cash. She did not know how to process the difference in price and she said nothing to us as she completed the transaction: no offer for a bag, no "thank you for waiting", etc. ️

Love love love that my fur baby is always welcomed and served with treats. Its an amazing added touch!

Hard to get any assistance with the items I went for. Its not a Canadian Tire that I would recommend.

It was pretty decent. Small supply of bathroom lighting supplies, had to go to home depot. 3/5 get more bathroom lighting supplies.

Love the sales and it always has products on the shelves. Also I love that the very few times they don't have an item I can get a rain check.
