I am really disappointed with Dundas Canadian Tire. I arrived at the garage at 10: 50 am this Saturday and asked the attendant if it would be possible to fix a tire on my car that had a nail in it. The attendant said yes and that it would be ready in 1h30. I returned after the informed time and my car hadn't even entered the garage. I waited another hour and the car didn't come. I asked for my keys back and left without doing the work. If it wasn't possible to do the service, why did they say they would do it? What a sadness! The services at Canadian Tire are not what they used to be!

My 40k km 2019 car couldn't pass safety lol Needed new rear pads and rotors that took 2.5 hours of labour and over $840. Sounds about right.

I was at the store today to pick up battery charger.no one bothered to attend. I went to customer service. They paged 4 timeS. No one came for 15 mins. After that they advised they can not find keys for battery charger boxes. Radicolous customer service. Employees called manager and she could not even speak in English. She did not apologize and said Thanks for inconvenience. Oh man. Never coming to this store.

I like the fact that you can locate the product in the store from their online web page. It helps me go directly to the product i am looking for. You can also see the stock online!

Item was not in the aisle as shown on-line and it was hard to find someone to help locate it. The good news is that he was able to locate the item rather quickly even though the info on-line was wrong.

13 in stock shown online, 0 available. I went there to buy Pack & Roll hand truck as 13 items in quantity were showing in stock. On physical check, there was none in shelf. After 5 minutes of effort, I took hold of a staff member who took 15 more minutes to check from the inventory room. After wasting 20 minutes, the staff member told with a smile that there is none available in stock and further said that he will update the inventory. It’s great experience that now customers have to do Canadian Tire employees job free to cost to update the inventory status.

The online systems aren't working very well. Items show in stock and gets cancelled due to no availability, this has happened to us several times.
Today when picking up I couldn't use the system for curb side pickup as I had picked up a partial of the order before. I tried clearing all browsing history including cookies but it didn't help.
I find there web services lagging behind competitors and only order from Canadian Tire if I have no other options.

This store is just like any other Canadian Tire store. The staff is extremely rude, which is usual for all of their stores. One of the staff members yelled at my son because he turned on one of the Dyson vaccum machines.

A little trouble finding what I was looking for and unfortunately staff on the floor were no help. But the regular cashier is always helpful and makes the store experience so much better. Thank you to her.

I see that they have done some well needed modifications to the store since my last visit which was probably a few years ago. It looks great. I did need some help with finding a product and staff members were very helpful and even led me right to the product. Just the small things that make all the difference.

So hard to get help here. Prices often unlabeled, have to wait around to find someone to help you. If you know exactly what you want and they have it, pretty easy to get in and out of.

For some reason, I keep forgetting this location exists. I keep driving 15 min to the one on by Best Buy. This location seems to have most things in stock whenever I go in. The people working there are more helpful than the other Canadian Tires I’ve been to.

I visited Branch 429 in Oakville, bought and installed a new tire. I was met by the supervisor Jesse he was professional and knowledgeable, my mechanic was Jethro, very skilled and he did an amazing job. Great customer experience.

Great staff lots of stock. The management clearly knows how to operate a store. I noticed that they also are kind enough to higher staff with special needs.

Reducing my rating because of the terrible customer service I have experience since my last rating. The kids they hire are not trained and unhelpful. Their online system is abysmal and they never have things where they say they are.

Basically this is one of my favorite store as people is helpful all the time. You would be able to get someone who is willing to help and answer question you might have. However, there is always someone who would be trying to ignore you and drives you away. Therefore I could only rate 4-star. Based on my experience, it would be better to visit during the weekdays instead as mostly they are not stressful.

Waited 3 weeks to pick up online orders during lock down. When i called the store, they are very frustrated with the volume of orders and mentioned they are getting killed by customers ordering online. Other Canadian Tire locations in Oakville were courteous/friendly. Consider placing orders to pick up at other Oakville stores to distribute the order volume.

Their customer service is probably the WORST I've ever encountered. I've tried countless times to order an item for curbside pick up. 1st time they cancelled my order with no reason (tons left in stock). I thought it was an error so I went to reorder the 1 item I needed.to my surprise there was now a minimum spending amount for curbside (I guess this was applied after I had placed my order so they felt it was appropriate to cancel it and force me to spend more money if I wanted the one gutter extension piece. So home depot got my business on that one as they have no minimum). I also tried to order 1 box of mechanical gloves for pick up (total cost $30 so within the minimum spending amount). After two weeks I got an email saying it would take another TWO WEEKS to fulfill my order of 1 box of gloves (they had over 30 in stock at that location). My husband needed some spray paint for his truck so he ordered two cans awhile back. I did warn him not to waste his time with this location and once he also got the email that they need another TWO WEEKS to pick 2 damn cans of paint he also cancelled it and will buy from another store. You'd think this location would be so busy and the staff beyond overworked with all these extensions to pick simple items for curbside.but anytime you drive past the store its a GHOST TOWN! I feel like staff are just lazy and pushing orders back so they can continue to be paid to do nothing because it should not take over a month to pick 1 single box of gloves. Just blows my mind how such a large company can offer horrendous customer service when people can only do curbside and to add a minimum spending amount. Makes me feel horrible for those people who might not have the funds to make the minimum order amount but still need an item (s).

Save yourself some time. Curb side pick up sucks, i ordered 1 week ahead and after that i gave them a call and ask them for update they're asking for extra days. I just order it from Amazon much quicker and delivered to my door. Very disappointed.

In the past 1 week, I have placed 3 orders on items that were supposedly in stock at this location. Part of EACH OF THE 3 ORDERS were cancelled due to lack of availability. For a big company like CT, their online inventory management is simply not acceptable. Also, filling online orders are taking 4-5 days which is worse than any other big box retailer I have ordered from recently. Disappointing.

Placed order on Thursday morning. Received email saying it would be ready for pickup on Saturday at noon (small order).

At 6pm on Saturday I called for a status update and was told they hadn't got to it yet. Was assured it would be handled immediately and that I could pick it up before store close. Still wasn't ready.

Called at 8: 30 Sunday am from their parking lot as I was in the area. Order still not even given to a picker but was again assured it would be ready by 9: 20. At 9: 45 there was still no ready email so I tried again. Third employee I spoke to about it said they would check with the picker. It would take 20 minutes. I left. I have other things to do.

Get home and there are three emails. One saying an item was backordered until next weekend; a second saying that two others are ready and a third saying one item was cancelled. The two items they do have are useless without the cancelled item. Tried to cancel everything so I can shop elsewhere and the website freezes when I hit the cancellation submit.

So.

Was lied to twice by different store employees. Half the order was cancelled or delayed by store due to item not being in stock. Why do you list items in stock on the website if the store can't honor the purchase? Terrible service. Terrible policy. Won't stop this location again.

I understand these are difficult times, but this is a bit much.

I ordered a battery for my car 5 days ago, they were supposed to delivere it to me on the curbside, in 30 minutes but after 5 daus, nothing was delivered to me! My car is stuck in here and there's no way to go back home in Richmond hill! Management is way below zero. Never will go back to this store.

I'd avoid this location at all costs, they are irresponsible and disorganized, and only care about their own profits.
My curbside pickup order was kept on hold for over 4 days before having the store cancel it at the last possible second without informing me of the reason. If you didn't have it in stock, maybe kindly inform your customer right away so they're not left waiting almost a week for absolutely nothing? Ridiculous service.

Awful curb side process. Spent 20 minutes trying to call the number for curb side and no one picks up. Then someone tells us we have to go inside to tell them we are at curb side, where we waited an additional 25 minutes for the order to come out.
Apparently this is just their process but it doesn’t say it anywhere.

They are unresponsive. After 2 days they didn’t make ready my order! After my follow up, the manager says: we are behind!
If you can not reply to your costumers why your website doesn’t show the pickup time correctly? !

Usually receive the curbside pickup confirmation within an hour after order confirmation but need a minimum of $10 purchase.

Worst experience, I order two sleds for my kids and and it said it would be available Friday and it never came then I had to come all the way back the next day only to find they cancelled one order out of stock. Now I have to order from another store and hope you ya available. ITS FAMILY DAY Very nice thank you so much!

I will never shop here again. I ordered a snow shovel and i had to wait at this store for what it seemed to be an eternity for a shovel! I ordered online to speed up the purchase, I would have picked the shovel up if I thought it would take 2 hours!

Honest and outstanding service at the Auto repair in the last few weeks. Had a tire replaced at a very reasonable price and a few days later somehow picked up a nail in said new tire. Went back in and they had me on my way within the hour at no cost.

I ordered online a box of coffee pods among other things, for curbside pickup. All stores are closed again.
The box was open before and it was tapped.
I called the customer service number and I was told to wait until the store is open for business again. I complained that it cost me too much and nobody knows when the stores will be open again.
I was told that someone would be calling me to send a return label.
So far, no one has called me.
If you can’t handle the online returns properly, get out of business. Your system is outdated.

Unhelpful and veryyyyyyyyyyyyyy rude staff!
Tried to return one item which has missing parts but they refused and even they didn't care about what happened.
Store manager Jeff and the lady in the customer service have zero customer service
I left and tried another location (hyde park gate), they helped me and returned the item and they were so surprised why they didn't return it.

Christmas lights are a bit of a mess, but staff are working hard to help, and were able to let me know if other stores had the lights I wanted.

I REALLY don’t recommend online ordering and curb side pick up.
It’s really inefficient.
I ordered a ladder, which was in stock at the store, and it still took a week to get my confirmation and then 45 minutes for them to bring to the curb.

The store itself is pretty good. Next time I’ll just go into the store and get it myself

Jesse in the automotive department has been incredibly helpful with getting winter tires this late in the season. We had to get a new car due to an accident and needed winter tires in a pinch. He has worked so hard to help me source the tires and rims for our new truck that aren't easy to find. I haven't had wonderful experiences with Canadian Tire and the lack of staff in the store overall these past few months but there have been a few standout employees that have really helped out and Jesse is top of my list right now! Thanks!

Over charged $40-50 from Toyota dealership for tire change. On the phone I was told $100 approx, an appointment I fixed a month ago. When I came to pick up my car I was given an invoice of $160.

Called in for an appointment to get my oil change.

The mechanic with the name of Mousa
came out took my keys and brought my car in. He completed the service in very short time. He also checked all fluids in the car, tire pressures, brakes and much more.

Highly recommended.

This applies to the 3 store i tried to reach.it was impossible to reach the auto centre by phone to see how much an oil change cost, so i have the funds.no way to reach anyone, no website information, no options on phone line.guess i will have to go elsewear.lost a 100$ service job.bye ct.

Terribly organized, online stock does not match in-store stock, some employees are just plain rude, and getting any help is practically impossible. Rather go to Home Depot or the CT on Kerr street.

I went to this store couple of time but I don’t see a person to help me over there. A guy from hardware i think his name was vipul I’m not sure if that’s right but that guy has a good knowledge about the stuff in the store. He made me the paint helped me with the colors and he helped me in the plumbing area as well. Good customer service. I will recommend to go to this store.
