Canadian Tire Gas+

Went to get a glizzy, there were in fact no glizzys. My autistic friend was not happy and had a melt down

Went to go and get a hot dawg with my friend but there was only one left. Disappointed, now we have to go to 711 & visit the lot lizards for our lunch date.

My wife and I had stopped there to get a drink after going to Walmart to get some cake mix to make a cake for our daughter's bday but Walmart was closed and my wife was very upset and after telling the lady behind the counter what had happened she had gave us a balloon that she had received for her bday the the day before. I just wanted to say thank you and that she had made my wife's night. It was an amazing gesture and I can't thank the woman eoughso very very much

I was there this Friday (Oct 13th) The woman cashier was the NICEST cashier I've had in a long time, if not ever. Super helpful, friendly and PATIENT. My card was messing up and most other cashier's would have been annoyed. EVEN I was beyond ANNOYED. But she made it seem like no big deal and helped me. Went above and beyond. Volunteered to come out to the pump with me even though it was cold out.
The station is BRAND new and the bathrooms are high tech and everything is really clean. The only complaint is that for whatever reason, the pumps don't accept the rewards cards. Weird. So you can pay at the pump but have to go inside to swipe. Everything is new so I'm sure they'll be getting that fixed soon. The gas prices were decent as well compared to others.
To management: Please give her a RAISE, she deserves it.

Part 2- Tonight I stopped in, not realizing that it was closed.
I went to open the doors and sure enough.locked.
I went back to my car, and the clerk came out, to see if I needed help. I told him I wanted (filthy, I know) cigarettes. He said sorry, he was closed.
But, he wanted to make sure that I was alright. - Did I need to use the washroom, was my car broken down? -
I thought that was really nice. I said I was fine, thanked him, and went on my way. I just thought that was really nice. Here he was closing up, getting ready to go home, and he just wanted to make sure I was ok.
5 stars now.

Part 1- Staff is great. The store is convenient enough.
Only downfall is that EVs can't get a $5 car wash. As I can't put gas in my EV. Apparently, if you get any amount of gas, then a car wash is $5. I bought stuff in the store, but still couldn't get the car wash for $5.
Got an EV? Go down the street to the Esso I guess.

Went through the car wash, not 5 minutes after parking at the Walmart across the parking lot, I had a flat tire. Maybe try sweeping out the wash bay….

My mom had to pee really bad and I have never seen her more happy from coming out of a public washroom.

She gushed about how nice the washrooms were, clean and tidy, touch free and just very nicely updated. Just thought it was funny she’s been gushing about how nice it was for 10 minutes!

Suppose to be open till 11, sign says open but it’s like 9: 00 pm and the door is locked and there is a guy inside behind the front till watching us try and open the door.
Luckily we paid with our card at the till and we’re just planning on going in to grab a drink, but what if we were paying cash for our gas?

Why do you guys jack up the prices in the mornings? It’s like a 10 cent difference in price compared to the evening…pretty disgusting practise. You should be ashamed of yourselves

I just stopped in to grab some lotto tickets at the gas bar. The nicest clerk was working. She was so friendly, she truly represents your company well. It was such a pleasure to see someone offering such great customer service. To the clerk working July 21 at 10 pm Good job!

I called to see if they had monthly car wash passes. The man on the phone said yes! We have monthly and 3 month passes. I asked how much, he said no! You have to come in and then we will tell you.
I asked why, he then repeated himself again in a rude tone and then hung up the phone on me while I was talking!

I've since went in and used their car wash. It works great! 5 stars for car wash. 1 star for customer service in my experience.

I went for a car wash. It didn’t clean my car off went back 40 mins later after I had gotten out and actually seen the car. Told me to come back the next day so I did and the guy then told me he couldn’t help me. I argued a bit with him and I eventually got my refund. I might not of been the nicest person but the fact that I gotta argue over a car wash refund at Canadian tire with proof that it didn’t clean my car is just not right. Very nice store but they need to get their stuff in order.

The staff are friendly as heck, the prices are good for gas station fare my only qualm is that the carwash doesnt do the "spot free rinse" cycle. It leaves my car blotchy. But other than that its fantastic!

Edit: the light on the spot free rinse just doesnt work. My ev6 is low and the side dryers lose a lot of blowing power at the ends of them in terms of blowing
Maybe flipping them upside down would help better dry the cars. Otherwise! Yeah perfect especially for 200 for 3 months at one a day!

FINALLY a gas plus in Welland with a car wash. The convince store is loaded with lots of stuff, they have a propane filling station too, not just the tank exchange. Nice location too close to the highway, Canadian Tire store and other stores we shouldn’t mention
