Canamera X-Ray & Ultrasound - True North Imaging

I was extremely satisfied with my visit to true North Imaging. The receptionist was friendly, professional and proficient as were all the staff I came in contact with. I was in, taken care of and out in a timely manner and when you are not feeling well every minute seems like an hour. This has been my experience on 2 occasions recently. I would like to say Well done! People Well done! And Thank You!

I called daily at 9 am for less than one week to find out if they had any ultrasound appointment cancellations and they got me in yesterday at 10: 30,3 months ahead of my scheduled appointment. I arrived and was taken right in after only one minute of waiting. I had an X-ray requisition too and they did it right away as well. My family doctor messaged me before 1 pm the same day after reviewing my results. That is the quickest and most efficient imaging procedure I’ve ever done. These people are terrific.

Myattendent was very good. She was gentle and patient. The procedure was better than I've had in the past.

So glad I chose True North.

Professional staff. Clean facility. X-rays are on a drop in basis only. I waited about 5 minutes in the waiting room and another 5 in the changing area. Tech was excellent! Extremely capable and friendly. Even with my knee pain she got me laughing. Highly recommend.

Best experience ever with my Mammogram. I have always found Canamera’s service to be easily accessible. When booking appointments you are always greeted in a pleasant and professional manner.

Depending on your availability, you might be fortunate to be given an appointment within a few days or you may have to wait a few weeks.

I would, without a doubt, recommend this service provider. No one ever looks forward to having a mammogram. However, my technician recognized the discomfort in the procedure and took the time to walk me through each step which made it much easier and a lot more tolerable.

Except for having to wait over a month for appointment, the tech that did my ultrasound was terrific. Assisting me in putting my jacket on due to shoulder pain. Worked with me in my discomfort as to moving shoulder.

I had an ultrasound appointment which I thought was going to be uncomfortable and awkward. Not only did they get me in right away but the lovely woman who did the exam was so polite and professional. I would highly recommend booking here if this is a service you need.

Professional service offered by the staff. Time spent waiting was minimal for my X-rays to be completed. Will definitely be coming back to this location for any medical imaging being required.

The staff are very pleasant, efficient and effective. The wait times for walk-in x-ray are a bit long but that is to be expected. Wait times for other types of appointments can be longer then other places so call around if your need is more urgent. 5 stars all the way.

Given the circumstances and how busy this location has become, everyone was smiling (behind the mask:), professional and polite. Got everyone in and out as quickly as they could.

The technician was good, put me at ease. They were also very punctual, I only waited for a few minutes.

Had a really nice experience from the lady who did my ultra sound! They contacted me with my results the day after as well, so It was an all around good experience.

It's never fun to get diagnostic imaging but the technician who did my imaging was wonderful.

Walk in at 10: 20 for a 10: 45 appt. Greeted by receptionist almost immediately.
Was called in within 2 mins of my arrival. Technician was professional and still very calming and gentle.
Absolutely nothing negative to say about this appt.

Great Admin Staff and the techs are great. I wish I remember the tech's name that went above and beyond for my last two appointments to get all the pictures needed for the anatomy scan. I meant to ask at my last appointment. She stayed late and worked over her lunch break to squeeze me in as it was time sensitive and ultrasounds are being booked quite far out due to the demand. Can it be hard to get through by phone? Sure. But if you use their online booking system (on the website) you will get a kind response and they are do their best to accommodate. I saw a comment below about their experience with their anatomy scan and the tech not being able to tell them the gender. This is standard at every imagining location as they are technically not allowed to say. They have signs posted in every room stating this and not just for prenatal scans. Your family doctor/OB should advise you on this. Most cases your referring doctor will get the report back and they will be the ones to inform you of the gender if you wish to find out. Not something to hold against your tech. As they do you favour and ask you not tell and then you post that they told you publicly. This is why most are very reluctant to "break the rules". Best to remember to be kind and you will often get kindness in return.

I had to get an X-ray of my hand. I took the chance on a walk in appt. Very quick! Very professional, very clean!

Didn't have to wait. In and out in less than ten minutes. Everyone was super nice and everything was clean.

I only came here because the other Cambridge location does not have an X-ray technician anymore. Staff talking about my requisition right at the counter. Accidents happen and so sorry for needing more then 1 X-ray. Won’t be returning which I’m sure they would like. You wouldn’t have a job if we didn’t come in.

The whole experience was great, except the actual procedure. The people at the desk were efficient getting me registered. The wait was pretty much on time. The woman that performed the procedure kept the equipment clean. She explained all that was going on. Walked me through an unpleasant procedure with compassion, understanding and humour. Than you.

The reception was immediate, the wait was not too long, even for a full room of people, the environment was friendly. The ladies recieving people coming in were knowledge to me and patient with the not so patient.and the technician gave easy to follow directions while taking xrays. Health care is a PRIVILEGE. The healthcare workers at this clinic are very kind and considerate. Michelle did my ultrasound, she was compassionate, funny, made me feel at ease, a real gem. I really appreciate her for making my experience a beautiful one. The receptionists are all very sweet and kind as well and I thank them all for being amazing people that truly care for patients. I was there for a bone scan and 2 days later for an Xray and I couldn't believe how efficient they were. Great job

I had agreat experience there. The facility was clean and the staff was friendly. They were busy and didn't make you feel rushed.

Went for an ultrasound. Been going to diff ultrasound places for a few years. This was the best experience i have ever had.

Punctual, efficient and friendly. I had a 10: 30 appointment and was back in my car and on my way at 10: 36!

The staff were wonderful, as usual. The testing was painful as was to be expected but made easier by the staff's manner. Considering the friendliness of the staff I wouldn't go anywhere else.

We were not able to complete our x-ray request. The front desk workers were unfriendly and inconsiderate. They don’t know that “refugee protection claimant is legal id, ” and it is under the government cover for health. OR, they don’t want to proceed. They insist on paying. It has happened on 28 Oct, 2021.
