I give 5 star is there a worker that check on the 12: 15pm drop in stick and puck he is welcoming. After gone a lot there he regconize me well enough. Never get his name, but we did chat for a bit. Love his vibe

Not sure where they get their refs from at the York location for the mens ASHL, but for a non contact league they sure allow a lot of contact and then they can’t handle it when it gets out of hand. They’re constantly allowing players that aren’t on teams' rosters into games that incite violence and utter threats, sometimes death threats and no one seems to care. I thought sports village was bad until I started watching the games here. Would not recommend if you value your life and safety. I’ve now watched my fiancé be held down by the neck and get a heavy metal net tossed into him while he was down. Adult safe hockey league, more like adult dangerous hockey league. 0 stars

My boys have always loved playing here. Great rink in a great location. And the pizza is to die for!

Huge hockey arena with 6 rinks in total. Good change room sizes and good ice. There's also a bar on the upper floor that have some viewing areas!

I had taken my very first ice skating classes part of "Adult learn to skate" program. 10 classes for 10 weeks. Since I have never been to a rink before, I dont have much comparison to make. But it seemed like a well maintained place.
The classes were on Saturday and the place used to crowed, mostly with kids there with parents.

There is pizza and bakery items available at the front of the building and a small shop selling accessories and hockey equipment.

The staff was quite helpful, as I needed to get some documentation of the course attended.

Talking specifically about the classes, I had fun as it was completely new experience. For the initial few classes, the instructor was attentive and tried to focus on each of us but later one, it was more of a chore and instructor seemed distracted and not focused on the students.
That is the only aspect, I would like them to improve.

Great facility with lots of Rink surfaces. Reminds me of the burnaby 8 rinks in Vancouver!

I was very very disappointed with the slow service We received at the restaurant. We were one of the first ones there and the last ones to eat.

Otherwise, I do like the arena. Lots of parking, and lots of window for watching hockey

Worst customer service and rude staff. I’ve been to many wild wings restaurants in other Canlan locations. This one is the worst.

DONT BOOK HOCKEY TOURNAMENTS HERE!
understaffed (1 guy in) in kitchen on long weekend tournament. Food orders rejected! Nobody cares. These people behave like they have a monopoly. Will never rent ice here again either!
