I was in the Danforth area and stumbled across this nice little pot shop. I was assisted by Paul, who was very knowledgable and friendly regarding my products of interest, including flower, and distillates. I settled on some sunset sherbet by broken coast upon his recommendation, which was absolute fire. If I’m ever back in the area, I will definitely pop back into canvas.

Micheal was a really good help and very nice. I would recommend this place to anyone who is tryna get some cheap gas

Terrible customer service every time I go in, but at least they’re consistent. This is the closest dispensary to me, so I only go here out of convenience. I go here about once a week and they are rude and dismissive. I hesitate to ask questions about product because they’ve treated me like a huge inconvenience every time I have. I don’t usually leave reviews but I’ve had such a sour experience here enough times that it’s time to say something. I hope someone sees this and decides to make a change there. If you’re a potential customer, I’d recommend trying somewhere else. There’s several dispensaries along the Danforth, and I’d recommend any one but this one.

It's March 2023 and I was just sold greybeard concentrates which was packaged onJuly of 2020, that is not quality control this outdated product was not enjoyed not a good look check there dates

Im from Germany so I don‘t have a lot of experience when it comes down to dispensaries.
However, I really had a good time in this shop.
The staff was super friendly and I will definitely come back!

I don’t even live in the east end and this is my go-to dispensary. The manager is kind, friendly and treats the staff respectfully. Every person who works at the counter is knowledgeable, welcoming and so nice! Christopher in particular deserves recognition for being so wonderful - I love coming in and chatting with him! He puts a smile on my face every time. Prices are great and daily specials are always good depending on what product you’re looking for. 10/10 would recommend!

This place is so beautiful so neat. The best website. Easy to navigate.friendly. Website is better than menu board. But pretty board.

They sell what everyone else is selling. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Several visits in the past. Still have to pay the Prov. Tax. There is more competition in area now. Hopefully Store Managers can lower their prices. Or drive customers AWAY.

I made a reservation on Aug. 14 Saturday for brunch. My friend and me are not driving, so we took Uber and stuck in traffic 30mins from Union station. The place is difficult to get there if you don’t have a car.

When we are finally at the entrance, the security asked us for ID. I’m the person who made the reservation and I never seen any notification on e-mail and booking page that we need to bring ID. The security said the information are on their website… I was like who is gonna to check your every single website pages before we go?

It’s a fancy place so I dressed up and kept myself simple, I was only with my phone and even didn’t have a bag. Also, we never been asked for ID when we want to have a brunch or drinks. For us, we made a reservation a week ago, and traveled from North York just wanted to have a brunch. We couldn’t enter the door after all since I didn’t ’t have ID……and we were not mentioned about “bring your ID” until we were at the entrance.

Very disappointed!

Did online order and curb side pickup, the process was fairly simple and straightforward! The website was easy enough to navigate, and the staff seemed to take care in social distancing (always a plus!)

The staff at Canvas are so knowledgeable, warm, and welcoming. They are/have been working through the global pandemic, providing an essential service to the area.

Ordered multiple times online for pick up and find their turnaround to be very quick. Staff is friendly.

Well its much more convenient to pick up my goods here the price markups are too much. For 7 g of tenzo it costs 86$ here while only 73$ on ocs website! That's a huge price difference guys. Guess I'm stuck waiting for a delivery beats paying a 20% markup

Courteous customer service, good stock levels, clean/tidy interior, not much to complain about at all!

I like the people and the location but the pricing is crazy. They inflate the prices vs other stores or OCS so much. For example. 0.5g 510 thread vape cartridge of Trainwreck on OCS is $31.50. The exact same cartridge (same strain, size, and producer) at Canvas is $60. I can understand an small inflation for profit but almost 200% increase is insulting. Compare other products and you'll find the same thing

There's no incentive for this review- I've been with these guys for over a year now really taking my time observing the menu. Since the day I signed up I knew my money was going to the right place - you will not find better customer service anywhere like you do here! All the employees are so accommodating, from Cara and all her FIRE suggestions (that have exceeded expectations & never disappointed me yet) to every driver who goes out of their way to follow specific requests/instructions upon delivery - I cannot thank these people enough! The quality of their products are unmatched: clean white ash with every hit on any bud, no chemical burn/aftertaste (including pre-rolls). I challenge anyone to name a better place than these guys on any category, 11/10.

The most friendly and convenient dispensary I’ve ever been to! Extremely nice atmosphere with the most friendly staff I have ever met, and they have an excellent variety of product. Service is quick and efficient yet friendly, and there is a small parking lot out back for those of us who don’t like getting parking tickets.

Neighbourhood favourite! Not only do they have a great selection of bud to choose from they have really warm, welcoming and helpful staff. They are always willing to lend and ear to help customers figure out the best type of cannabis for them as well as the best method of consumption for their specific needs.

I usually use OCS to order, and this shop is a testament to why. Rude employees, bad and yet somehow overpriced selection, and there is no "Curbside", because you have to go in and verify your card even if you -pre-paid online. Seriously stick to OCS, you'll save a good chunk, you won't have to deal with the heinous staff, and you'll get a better variety. If I could 0 star I would

I have been a regular here since they opened in the neighborhood. Staff is always very knowledgeable and friendly. The whole experience is elevated and high class, from the knowledge of the employees to the decor of the store!

Great selection of accessories, I bought myself a personal pipe and a great selection of weed. The prices were reasonable and the staff was friendly and helpful.

My BF and I are big fans of this shop! We have not had the opportunity to try their 2nd location yet, but if it's anything like the Danforth one it's worth checking out. The people here are really great too, always very helpful and attentive. Product variety is diverse and the store itself is inviting. You can't go wrong! Oh and shout out to Canada Mask, my new buddy with all the helpful bud knowledge! - keep up the great work guys!

I'm not a fan of our provincial gov's high prices but that's no fault of the folks working at & running Canvas. This store is beautiful, the selection is good, their product (gov approved) is quality, their staff professional, friendly & knowledgeable & their Covid protocol is excellent.

Why is it that there is no tipping option on the POS machine at this location? I want to come back and support this business, including the people that work there. Every other legal dispensary I’ve been to allows me to give a tip to the workers.

Canvas has a decent selection of products.

Tons of choices and the price point is alright. Pay attention to their daily deals. Also, the've stepped up their game with more edibles such as gummies and tea. My local on Danforth has awesome selection despite pricing for some. Staff always friendly and informative with suggestive selling.

John is usually the person I deal with when I go to pick up from here, although most of the time hes busy, he always treats me with the utmost respect and care with normality in conversation.

The people are really nice here, lots of info if you need it. Everyone seems really educated about their work and they are very professional. If there's a line up, dont stress, they are quite fast in my opinion.

Rude, passive aggressive staff that provide a really unwelcoming and rushed atmosphere. Really guys? When there are so many other options? The product is also generally dry, packaged 5 to 10 months ago and just overall sub par. What a shame.
