This lot has one attendant and requires you to give them your car keys so they can move your car to a different spot if needed (as some of the parking spots hold more than one car). Before paying the fee and handing over my keys, I asked the attendant if the lot closed at any point as I planned to be there 5-6 hours. He said no and assured me that someone would be there all the time. When I returned to the parking lot to pick up my car hours later, the attendant was not in the booth nor were they anywhere in the parking lot area. I looked inside the booth and could not even see my keys on the key board. There was a phone number posted on the door without any instructions or note. I called this mystery number and managed to reach someone who worked for the parking lot. After explaining my situation and having to clarify which specific lot I was in, they said someone should be back “soon” and asked if I had checked for my keys inside my car yet. What? !? ! So without my permission or a warning of any kind, they had stuck my car keys INSIDE my unlocked car, in a barely hidden area. I was so angry. Anyone could have driven off with my car or cleared out its contents. And I imagine a number of the other twenty-ish cars in the lot were equally vulnerable. Due to these unsafe conditions, I will not be returning and do not recommend anyone to use this parking lot.

Do not pay to park in their lots and display your ticket. Ottawa bylaw people will come by and give you at $75 ticket. Albert & Bay last night. At. 4: 30 we paid $20 for their daily maximum and by 6: 16 Mohammadi had left his ticket. To their credit this company has arranged for the ticket to be cancelled. I have to check with the city to ensure it actually got done. Why is the city of Ottawa even going to a private lot to ticket cars? Just a bad arrangement!
