Capitol Banquet Centre

We had my brother's Mehendi event with about 200 guests at Capitol and we had a very pleasant experience. The owner, Irfan, was extremely accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. The hall was very spacious and the lighting and music system was great. Our dj was able to use the system seamlessly. We also wanted to setup a photobooth the day before our event and we were allowed to without any issues. The food was by far the star of the day. Desserts and dinner items were fresh and deliciously prepared. Our guests were raving about it and we also found it to be by far the best in terms of Pakistani cuisine served at halls in recent times. The only thing I would suggest Capitol can work on would be to upgrade the furnitures and furnishings, which I noticed when doing our initial visit. We had professional decorators so they revamped the place and it looked spectacular in the end. Overall, I would give it a 5 star review and highly recommend!

Amazing experience. Attended many events here but first time I booked. The owner and staff are very courteous, responsive and very mindful on the type of event. Food was excellent quality, very authentic tasting. Service was top notch. Thank you for making our event on Jan 6 memorable! JZK

Great venue for weddings and large gatherings parties. Just attended 2 functions.
Both of them were successful.

New Years Eve at Capitol was amazing. Best place I’ve been in years. Service, staff, disc jockey was amazing. I brought 10 friends with me and they were so impressed. 5 star service

Went for an event ie Eid Bazaar so no clue about services but looks decent. Plenty of parking.

The food is not so good and they advertise dress code but they don't follow there own rules and they charge too much

Food is always amazing. I have attended many events and always enjoyed the great food. New renovations are good.

The staff is nice overall, food is great depending on the day, the tables and chairs are kinda old-school.

Capital Banquet Center has setups to cater different capacity. Their food is really good. It would stand out more if they make it a stand alone Banquet Hall instead of being in a mall.

Single dance Friday. Great atmosphere. Food service is very poor. Small portions and very unfriendly food staff.

Wonderful venue with wonderful staff to provide once in a hundred times amazing experience.
Their prompt and professional response kept us from getting huge embarrassment in front of our guest.
I will ask all my contacts to reach them for sure on any occasion.

This is a very large spacious banquet hall. There is lots of room and the lobby is very nice. The table setup was fantastic and they didn't crowd too many chairs at one table and evenly spread em out. We went here for a wedding so the stage was decorated nicely.

Wonderful hosts and a great place. Mr Irfan, the owner is hospitable and accommodating man who looks after his guets.

Please tell to Dj on Friday night. Don’t change the style of the music so fast.leave couple Spanish and than change to pop or other different music. Secound problem is. When you get ticket! You can’t go to salon because lots a people staying in there. How come the security let this people block the door? Thanks

A nice place for small to big events. Good decor. Only issue is the cheap quality chairs. It is the same as you can see in small halls with much cheaper rentals

I have visited this place many times and every time I have found the food quality to be excellent. In fact I would say that Capitol Banquet Centre and quality food are synonymous.

We had our leadership meeting in this place and considerably convenient for majority of us from Toronto and Mississauga along the neighboring areas. It's well suited with our expectations of the place. Easy to drive and not a distance where people are coming. We like it.

Wonderful venue for a variety of occasions! In the last year, I had my bridal shower and wedding reception at Capitol Banquet Centre. Irfan and his staff are very friendly and accommodating.they worked with us to create the experience we wanted for our events (even during these uncertain times), and the food was delicious! My family has celebrated several occasions here throughout the years, and we feel we can count on Capitol for excellent service, excellent food, and excellent staff!

I love dancing so happy it's open again. Dinner and dance $25.00. The meals are really good. It's formal except long weekends which are casual dress. It's on every Friday night.

Very beautiful and very nice place for families getogether, but unfortunately very low quality food served as compared to the prices. This time in month of Ramadan Kareem very bad food after Iftar

I have to Capital Banquet hall numerous times. Nice and clean halls. Food was often times not so great. They have ample parking.

Organized and well established.
Large rooms adequately spaced.
Multiple food choices offered.
Ample parking

Decent venue, could be cleaner. Other than that it has all amenities. Good coat check, nice bathroom.

Very good food lots of dancing and two ladies helping everyone with food were amazing.very friendly loving ladiies always with great smile in they faces.

Nice place to get together on a Friday night to dance. The food is good, the drinks are fine.the only thing is that the DJ doesn’t play songs that you request. He plays what he wants. Very disappointing. He should accommodate what the crowd wants; then why ask for requests then?

Hands down One of the best places to get all your events done. Great customer service, well trained staff and the food is just 10/10 will make you feel like back in pakistan with all the tawa chicken and tawa Veg on buffet. Lots of varity on apps as we choose bhel puri station that was amazing. Really helpful in guiding and getting the right things for our event.
Would recommend 10/10.

Quiet spacious and located at a very strategic area this banquet hall is good. Due to covid the businesses were affected and we hope that once that happens management of this place will invest some money to do a little make over.

These guys are so cheap. I went to attend an event on the day when snow storm hit GTA. Unbelievable they dont want to spend mony to clean the drive way and parking. That wedding was wholly ruined by these stupid banquet hall.

Had an event here last night. Always a treat to be here. The guests loved the food in unison. Though guests belonged to various communities but everyone enjoyed the hospitality. Friendly staff led by Mr. Irfan who is such a down to earth person but as an owner always on top of things. The guests felt very safe COVID protocols were strictly adhered. Would recommend to friends and family.

Great dance hall on Friday nights. Met the love of my life there last September 10th, 2021
Music is repetitive every Friday night though. Much better if the DJ would have more jive (Rock and Roll) and country music.mix it up
Also my gal and I bought New Years Eve tickets in advance and the owner refunded our money due to COVID 19.no hesitation.excellent!

Beautiful place for all events, Excellent food fresh and hot with multiple choice, Professional and dedicated serving staff, we had wedding ceremony on SUNDAY the 12 DEC21 and it was amazing

I am a Handicapped. Parking for people like me is quite far from the entrance. Where as able bodied park their next to the entrance. Does this make sense.

I use to go to the single dance the music is great but the crowd is very old and the food is very bad. I been going there for over three yrs and they have chicken every Friday night after getting sick there twice I decided to eat at home first then dance and have a glass of wine there.

Had my sister's wedding here in June. The owner and his daughter are such a pleasure to deal with. They listen, understand and genuinely desire to help. They were personally involved with the arrangements to make sure everything is perfect. Their staff was wonderful, attentive, skillful and timely. Our guests had a good time and the food was amazing. We did choose a pricier menu but it was all and all worth it. After research and deliberation we definitely did not regret our decision. Many thanks:).

To say that this is one of the best catering food business in the GTA is an understatement. Their team, service and setup is nothing short of impressive with a lot of attention given to quality and the flavour of the food is simply delicious!

I wanted thank Arsalan for his hospitality and service he provided, thank you and your team for creating such a wonderful memories for my wife and I. Our family and friends were amazed by the taste of the food and service, they said they stuffed themselves but still wanted to eat more! To top it all off they even helped pack up the leftovers which was just icing on the cake =)

Absolutely beautiful and spacious banquet hall. Looks small from outside, but it is much larger inside. It includes a coat closet, separate halls and clean washrooms. I love the finishes around the place, makes the ambience of the hall feel very new and luxurious. I have only been there for one wedding, but I did not like the food at all except for the mango ice cream at the end. That was a hit. But I’m sure there are better menu options. Despite the food not being to my taste, I felt that the service was very professional and efficient, which I believe is more important than the food. Overall, it was a good experience.

Capitol has one of the best catering food business in the GTA. Their team, service and setup is one of the most important aspects of the industry which they are leading in.

This place was not cleaned for the planned event. Poor staffing and unorganized. Disappointing!

Very reasonable venue, amazing and underrated food (both if you're at the hall or catering to another venue for a large event), and exceptional customer service from the owner. We've hosted over 3 large events here over the past few years and have never encountered any problems

Good service. The banquet hall manager Margaret was especially amazing. She went above and beyond for our friends' wedding. Would recommend this place!

Owners are horrible, unprofessional, rude people with ghetto attitude.unfortunately we had our daughters wedding there and dealing with owners and manager was simply very unpleasant.i do not recommend this place for anyone.please do yourself a favor and find another location.

The manager or whoever was in the office didn't think of giving us the time of day.

We visited twice, the first time we were told he would be there and no one answered.
Second time he stood outside and had a cigarette while we checked out the hall, then causally strolled in, spoke to us for maybe a couple mins and went back into his office. He then attended to another party of people, who showed up after us, that were looking at the same room but he seemed to think they were worth his attention while we just waited there.

I walked out. Don't think I would like dealing with someone like that.

Came here for a birthday event. The food was good but the servers were inexperienced. They were polite but in order to get plates off the table, they were reaching over us, and inconveniencing guests.

As well, you could tell that the place is a bit run down — wallpaper peeling, scuffed sideboards, etc.

Awesome place for middle age people.sometimes no place to seat and sometimes you don't get your music requests.that's why I'm giving 4

I love this, food was super good and arrangements were so good. After long time I get real Pakistani taste.

Very elegant banquet hall! I was in the smaller room which was very beautiful and despite there being dozens of others I never felt cramped. The room also photographs very well as some of my own favourite event photos were taken here. Clean restroom too.

Celebrated my daughter’s first birthday here. The food is delicious. Nora was a pleasure to work with. Will definitely be coming back for future events.

My neice got married here, seating arrangement was great, staff was very cooperative, very professional and very accommodating.

I came here for a small event and lost my makeup bag that was the size of a large pencil case. It was in my handbag under a table which probably slipped out of the handbag. I'm 100% sure it was there
However when I called to check apparently "no one found anything". It was obviously then one of the waitresses took it because everyone was leaving at that time as well. Most of the makeup was fairly new and altogether about 2-300$ or more worth stuff. I also came straight home that night so it was not possible that I lost it anywhere else. Not a trustworthy staff. At least give the person a chance to call and claim their lost item especially knowing that the items are expensive before stealing it.

Friday night singles dancing with music from 60s, 70s and 80s. A few ballroom and Latin dances but not many. Food is Ok, dance floor is large but mostly crowded. I dislike that they charge so much for water. Older crowd. Prefer 30 up in Etobicoke.

Their food is good but the place is not that fancy. Some of the staff members are very kind but some are exceptionally rude

The food there is really great! The service is great, there is always ample parking available, and the bathrooms are clean. I love their black cherry ice cream and coconut shrimp in addition to the other food. I thank and hats off to the chefs' and the owner for an amazing job.

The place was amazing!
The staff was very friendly!
The decor can definitely use an upgrade.
The washrooms could use some attention.
The Appetizer/starters/1st course and dessert are excellent but the actual food is edible.

P. S I have visited this place now a couple of times and here is what I have noticed, your experience may differ.

I was at this banquet hall over the weekend for an event. It's small but spacious. It is neat and the washrooms are clean.

Is the only Banquet facility I am anxiously waiting for to attend an event there. Food and staff is top of the line. I love this place.
