I want to give a special shoutout to our server, Mike. Mike indirectly overheard me mention that it was my wife's birthday - he ended the meal by bringing her a surprise dessert plate. It was incredibly thoughtful. Throughout the visit, he was super attentive. Felt like a 5 star experiences. To boot, the food was amazing. 10/10 will come back. Thanks Capra + Mike!

Took my wife here for her birthday in August. A busy place but the service was great and my wife and daughter really liked the food.

A great experience! Restaurant was small but gave a very homey feel. Massimo Capra was also there, which was nice to see! Food was delicious, and the staff was super nice. Highly recommend coming here for drinks, dinner or a night out!

I've been here before and the food was decent. But tonight the food was amazing! The pasta was so good, the seafood was so fresh. And the dessert, oh my gosh! Service was fast and friendly. Love it!

We were there for brunch. Dishes are overpriced, especially since a salad is not included.

Capra’s was the full dining experience. Food, service and atmosphere were exceptional. Our server Sydney was amazing and staff were pleasant and accommodating. The icing on the cake was meeting Mr. Capra himself and he was ever so warm and gracious. Loved it!

Amazing food, very authentic. 30 dollars for a pizza and 30 more for ravioli is a bit too pricy. But pizza and pastas were hands down one the best.

We where looking forward to having lunch on the patio. We had a Caesar salad and a pasta dish, unfortunately the food was very disappointing, there was no taste to the salad and the pasta, both bland. The saving grace was the service, which was attentive. Will not be returning

First time, loved in the area for over 20 years, I dont know why I haven't been sooner, my new favorite local spot, everything was perfect, I have nothing bad to to say, from the service to the food to the environment, everything was perfection.

Went to celebrate my wife birthday. Good experience. Got the best spot as requested. We ordered Grille calamari, Margherita pizza, Salmone, Gamberetti, and two pasta dishes. Food was tasty, rich but for pasta we added a bit of Parmesan cheese and salt to make it for our liking. Will go back.

The team here always make you feel welcome. Had the most amazing beet risotto. You can't go wrong with anything.

Came here for my mom's birthday. Delicious food, great service, and lively atmosphere. The bread with pepper/olive sauce, chicken pasta, grilled calamari and tiramisu were fantastic. Will definitely be coming back.

Decided to go here tonight, November 13th, 2021. Busy Saturday night, 8pm reservation. After months of hearing nothing but good things about this place, and upon walking in its well packed (following Covid protocols) masks and vaccine passport enforced.

Greeted warmly and genuinely by Fabio and staff, everyone from the greeters, the servers and management seemed to be happy and happy to be there and it showed in how they treated the patrons and how they brought the food with flair.

Our starter was the fresh ricotta with figs, pistachio and croutons. Me and the girlfriend were impressed upon first bite, by far the best antipasto/appetizer dish I've ever had. Flavourful, well executed, and served fresh. To drink we got an Aperol spritz, which was made properly and that's rare at some places and I got a pint of Old Credit Amber. Beer was fresh and perfect!

For our main we had, the Margherita pizza with arugula and prosciutto and the funghi pizza. Both are well executed, dough is perfect, wood oven fired, with lots of care and attention to detail. Some of the best pizza I've ever had, and I'm not pulling anyone's leg.

Dessert and coffee was the bee's knees too, the pistachio cake and gelato were top notch and the chocolate salami was super flavourful and not overly sweet.

To go somewhere and have dinner for two for $150.00 is rare on its own, to have it so well made and have service that is genuine and feel like you're well attended to and having well made food without cutting corners makes it all the better. Will come back again and tell more people to come to this wonderful place.

I believe its overpriced, you get more food for lesser price at mama martinos.not professional waiters either.kind staff though

Outstanding. Brunch was incredible. Fried chicken pancake has the most tender, juicy fried chicken ever. Fully plan on returning.

Very good food, wine and service! Highly recommend the pasta with the shrimp and the mushroom risotto. The carbonara I felt had a bit too much egg in it and had a bitter finish. Overall we had a great time and will return!

Just finished a great dinner. I can’t believe I haven’t been here before. The service at the bar from Melissa and T was amazing! True pros! I literally came home and booked my res for next Friday night. If you can get a seat at the bar and chat with Melissa and T you’re in for a treat. Thanks guys, can’t wait to come back.

Had the fried chicken and pancakes. Was skeptical at first but the chili maple syrup really tied everything together. Great food. Great service.

I went for a bite and drinks a few nights ago. Sat at the bar and had an amazing time. The food was delicious. Had the Labneh, bruschetta, pizza and bolognese. All was amazing but the best part was the atmosphere, the staff and especially Melissa who served us at the bar and was amazing to watch making drinks for the restaurant. I plan on going in regularly now to try all the menu items and have a drink after work. Such a great place. Thanks

The carbonara is awful. I don't know if it was just off for me, but the dish tasted bitter and tasted too much of olive oil. I think the guanciale was burnt. It made my stomach roll over in disgust. There was only enough pasta to fit between two palms, which I couldn't even finish because it was that terrible. For $22, this is outrageous! I would not recommend coming here. Service was friendly but backlogged. I understand with the pandemic things have been hectic but this was two weeks into reopening. I would expect the staff to have found some kind of harmony.

Very delicious Italian Restaurant. I have gotten takeout twice before
I got the Brazino (Sea bass) and Capra pizza for takeout. My family ate on the patio for dinner on a Saturday with a reservation. Their food quality is consistent. My parents ordered the rib eye steak, calamarized carrots, potatoes and I ordered the the Spaghetti Camberi and zucchini. The servers are very attentive and friendly. I would recommend this restaurant! Even their panna cotta was tasty as well.

The food was absolutely incredible. The wait staff was fun and made the experience that much better. Every single bite of food I had here was fantastic. I will 100% come back again

I was really looking forward to dining there, however, the overall experience was quiet disappointing. I had made reservations few weeks ago prior to going there and specifically asked for a patio seating. When we got there, we were told there isn’t a table available although the hostess said she can see the request. The pastas we ordered were fresh and you can tell, however, the sauces and overall quality of the dish in term of taste was bland and flavourless. I was really expecting more. There were four of us dining there and all felt that way with our dishes.

My sister took me there for lunch, food is delicious, great service, and lovely atmosphere, I would very much recommend it.

Visited Capra's Kitchen about 2 weeks ago. I have to say it was quite the disappointment. The saving grace is the staff were friendly and attempted to mend some of the issues we had at our dinner.

The apps were probably the best part of the dinner. We ordered two bruschetta (3 pieces each) and the hummus dip. When the bruschetta arrived to the table on a long wooden board there was only 5 pieces, I can only assume that they didn't try to fit the 6th on there. We didn't touch the dish until the server came back so we could address the fact that 1 piece was missing.our server quickly returned with the missing piece which begs the question if it was ready why was it not included at the time. Both the bruschetta and hummus dip tasted good. I would recommend them.

The mains were the most disappointing, aside from the chicken which was cooked well and tasted the best out of everything. The dry aged rib eyes, were the most expensive on the menu and the two that we ordered were both cooked incorrectly. Both were requested medium-rare and arrived closer to medium, medium-well. One of these steaks were discounted to compensate for the incorrect cook which I am thankful to the manager for doing that. The carbonara tasted off to the point that even though the serving size was so small the person eating it couldn't finish it because they started to feel sick.

We also ordered sides separately from our mains, my biggest grievance here that when the server verbally told us the options she said "rappini, carrots, mashed potatoes etc. " so I ordered the rappini. What came to the table was broccoli & rappini. Now given the menu does state "Garlic Broccoli & rappini" The server should do their part to inform the guest that it comes with both. I like rappini, I do not like broccoli. They are not the same. So when the dish came to the table it felt like they just used the broccoli to fill the dish because they were short on rappini thinking we wouldn't know the difference.

Lastly when it came to the dessert and tea. One tea pot only filled half the cup of tea while another tea pot filled another persons full cup.which made no sense.sugar and other tea condiments were not brought to the table with the tea so we had to wait for the server to return to ask and then come back with them later before we could drink the tea. The tiramisu & donut balls took a while to come to the table even after the server assured us they were ready, which can be written off as it was busy but they were good.

Overpriced, under executed dishes. Everything felt like it was missing the finesse of a nice restaurant. Not bad, just below average and a little rough around the edges in terms of taste.

I'm one of those people who NEVER waste food! I left the food here, and so did 5 of my friends. Reason? It tastes DISGUSTING! We ordered pastas, pizzas, rissoto.u name it.and everything tasted so bad! Its astonishing how this place has a 4.5 rating? I guess they had an amazing chef who must've quit lol. NEVER going back, never recommending to any friend.

Went here yesterday with some girl friends for brunch. The food was great, atmosphere was great, and service was amazing. I can't remember our server's name but my friends and I had a ton of split bills and the server took care of it perfectly. Thank you for being so patient with us and sorry we complicated our orders! Would definitely come back here.

I never post reviews for restaurants but this restaurant was something else. I’ve been to this restaurant before, their food is great but their service was absolutely horrendous this time around. My server came by with glasses but with no water for over 15 minutes. We had to call over a different server just for them to take our order. My girlfriend and I got our appetizers quite quickly but having waited OVER AN HOUR for our main dish and still, after no server running the dishes over to us, I got up to the host just to get their attention as we haven’t seen our server since he handed us the glasses with no water in the beginning. Absolutely crazy how we were not attended for when our area wasn’t even half-full capacity and people that came after us were getting their food. How can you possibly enforce a 90 minute maximum seating rule when your server literally leaves the table unattended and not even get your main dish after an hour? Only after I spoke to the host after an hour, the food arrived, with no cutlery or plates as they were taken away after our appetizers. I’ve never been so baffled at a restaurant in my life and I’ve worked at several server jobs before. I literally didn’t see our main server after he served us our water, the least he could’ve done was let us know he was leaving. We had reservations at 8: 00 only to get our main dishes with no cutlery at 9: 15. I’ve been to this restaurant before along with friends but taking my girlfriend here for the first time was the biggest slap in the face. The GM came over and handled the situation great, but my impression was already rock bottom at that point, thank you for trying Fabio.

Always a delicious and great place for the family to enjoy fantastic meals together. The pizzas are amaziso and the carpaccio is perfect! The staff is always so friendly too! Highly recommend going!

Excellent quality food; however, they consistently get take-out orders wrong. We specifically included notes on subsequent orders to bring attention to historical order issues, and errors were still made.

Nice Italian restaurant and very busy for dinner. We were a group of 7 and all of us were content with our meals. Friendly service.

Brunch was very good! Had the ricotta pancake which was nice and fluffy, and the hipster toast and pizza carbonara was a sufficient portion and delicious without being too heavy.

Very nice ambiance I have to give them that. I went with a party of 12, the apps came quickly but the entrees took over 45 mins to arrive. The food to me was just ok, I have had better, quite pricey for what you get. Sorry Capras but I wasnt too impressed.

Office Holiday dinner for 40 people last night went off flawlessly. Paola took care of everything: The private dining room was perfect. The menu she put together was delicious and spot on. And our servers were real pros. Our staff is already looking forward to next year!

Used to be happy - one negative experience changed this and most likely we won't return. Massimo would be very disappointed in what transpired with our waitress and how poorly she handled things - so bad that we felt uncomfortable and simply wanted to leave. To be clear, we have had enjoyable meals here - on many, many occasions. This last visit, on a Saturday afternoon, was not one of them. We were really clear on what one order was for the main course and the waitress obviously did not articulate this to the kitchen - and, as a result, first time ever, we had to return it. She made us feel as though we were a problem, not her, and that it was very upsetting for her to have to take it back to the chef. Let me be clear, the order was very simple - nothing complicated at all - and she ended up bringing a plate (2nd time around) with a side of ground beef in a tiny bowl. It was not eaten and she charged me $22.00 for this. I was appalled at how she handled the situation and was ready to walk out but did not want to upset my guest. The service industry is easy to understand - serve me, make me feel special as a guest, get my order correct and be rewarded. End of story. As a result, we left very unhappy and feeling bad - why is this? If a small restaurant like Capra's, on a Saturday with no more than 3 tables seated, can't get this right with their hiring or kitchen staff, what is wrong? There is just far too much choice now a days to go back - I can't do it and won't. What a shame. For the waitress having mishandled things, they have lost a good repeat customer.

Service is good but I would not be inclined to order the steak again as even medium rare it was tough and flavourless. Staff were great though.

Most satisfying meal in a while! Great service, good portions for the price and amazing flavours. Welcoming atmosphere and talented bartenders! The cocktails are a must try.

I have nothing but positive things to say. From the moment I made reservations and spoke to Fabritzio on the phone to being a guest in the restaurant on NYE. The staff was very friendly. The food was delicious. Chef Massimo and his wife Rosa make you feel like you are all part of a giant family. I recommend Capras Kitchen

I’ve been here a few times now and the food has been consistently really good. The service is fantastic and we’ve even hosted private parties here. The staff for the party thought of every detail. Paola is wonderful to work with and we had a really great evening. Jason, one of the waiters is exceptional as well!

I ordered the Christmas meal for my family this year - the first time in 35 years that I have not cooked it myself! It was absolutely fantastic! Every single part of the meal was delicious - turkey, stuffing, vegetables, potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce - and the good part was there was plenty for leftovers which I did not expect. I think I have a new tradition for Christmas Dinner! Thank you to the wonderful chefs at Capra's for a meal that was enjoyed by everyone.

Good food, but some dishes are too heavy on the olive oil.the waitress could have been a bit more attentive (replacing side plates before the second course and checking our (empty) glasses more quickly after the mains were dropped. Lovely atmosphere and it was nice that Chef Massimo came over to say hello. I was impressed he recognized me from over a decade ago when I sold him wine at Mistura. One other comment.please switch out the Cabernet Sauvignon on the wine list for something better.it tastes cheap and like chemicals (even though it says the vintage is 2015.) There are so many good Californian Cabs in the general list - Liberty School, J Lohr, Rodney Strong, Beringer that are waaay better that that one. Give people good wines by the glass.and stop worrying about buying something modestly priced from consignment, then marking it up so much. If one restaurant in this city offered good wines by the glass (consignment or general list) without a 300% mark up they would be so successful!

Soggy pizza did not hold shape so I had to use my knife and fork to eat. Flavour was good. Atmosphere was great and beautiful decor.

Really enjoyed the beet risotto! Take first bite with your eyes closed (so the bright red colour doesn't distract you!) Well worth it!

Went on a Saturday date night. Convenient location and buzzy vibe of all ages. Good wine list, so long as you like Italian wine. The food was good, however we both found our meals to be excessively salty. Open to going again but not urgently.

Had an amazing meal with excellent service here. Appetizer, mains and dessert were all delicious. We started off with a shared board (Antipasto of Salumi, Cheese, Marinated Olives, House Pickled Vegetables Salsa Rossa, Hummus), followed by shrimps and Lamb Loin Chops, finishing off with the Chocolate Charcuterie Board. Each dish was outstanding. Having a sweet tooth, my favourite was the Chocolate Charcuterie Board:) It even came with fireworks (no doubt inspired by the fact that this was our anniversary meal - we were also presented a card signed by Massimo). Parking is free and casual attire is acceptable here. Highly recommended.

Came here for lunch on a Saturday and the food was delicious. We ordered the polenta chips and crispy artichoke for starters, these were recommended by our server which was quite delicious. I had the agnolotti which is a wild boar ravioli, very creamy and comforting. My wife ordered the parmigiana pizza and that was very good as well. Service is great and atmosphere is very chill. I would recommend this restaurant if you are looking for family or bigger group gatherings has a lot of room to accommodate, I also noticed that there was a private party room in the back. Parking is a little weird because they have their own parking in the rear of the building, apparently the front is reserved to the other patrons in the plaza. Thumbs up for Capra's Kitchen.

We've been here several times since it opened, and so far we've only had positive experiences. The service is great, the servers actually know what's on the menu and can give detailed explanations about seemingly every menu item and drinks.

The branzino on the dinner menu is pretty great for fans of whole fish (head to tail) dinners. Their pizzas are also very nice and varied, a great crust and great sauce.

Been a few times, usually for lunch, and went back for dinner to celebrate a friend's birthday. It's an Italian restaurant featuring many local and organic products. Includes vegetarian, vegan and gluten free choices, with an extensive wine list and bar. As an added bonus it's accessible. There's a private room for functions.

The service was a little spotty but friendly enough. The food quality was very high - although if you aren't putting salt on the table you have to be perfect with the seasoning and they weren't. That aside, the food was extremely competent. Great ragu, excellent gnocchi, nice lattes. We'll probably be back.

Great food. Small menu, but nice. Service was amazing! Definitely go for the chocolate board for dessert- im not really a dessert person, but my family ordered it to share and i ate pretty much ALL of it all by myself bc it was so yummy!

Great Italian fare and very nice restaurant and atmosphere. The brunch is also good and patio is nice for summer. They have 1/2 price wine nights which makes this place even more amazing. Great for a date night, birthday, casual night out, brunch-lunch-dinner, family, drinks, and they have a nice private room too!

What a fabulous spot for date night or brunch! They have a nice patio outside as well as a spacious interior. It would also be suitable for parties.
The food has been great each time I have visited. Try the scrambled egg pizza (brunch only), it is so decadent!
