Nice food, unfortunately, always lucky warm. I have to warm it up when I get to the office. I am 5 minutes away from the restaurant!

Good food, but a bit of a dirty place. Lack of staff means slow service.

My wife and i have absolutely adored Capri's food, baked goods, small grocery items and above all the atmosphere and service, not to mention great prices.
Unfortunately, as of our visit yesterday this al seemed to change in the blink of an eye and we no longer trust or feel good about going there ever again.
I suggested to my wife that we have lunch there yesterday and she was happy to go. We ordered lunch from the hotplate and my wife treated
The food is always, always hot and fresh. No comparisons.
We had our food in a somewhat busy environment, finished and left happy.
What happened you ask? It all sounds great.
After we left, we had some errands for a while and went home.
I realized maybe 3 hrs after our lunch that i forgot my hat at the Capri bakery.
I actually drove back without calling first because i was going to get more food.
When i got to Capri i waited in line to ask if someone saw or possibly returned a hat.
The person didnt flinch or even pause to think. They almost instinctively said no very firmly.
I said ok and asked the person if anyone that worked there might have seen it or turned it in.
The person then shouted to a co-worker loudly about seeing a hat
Again whithout hesitation of thought immediately said no in an almost hopeless sense of them possibly seeing it.
I said to the second person who was cleaning tables where my wife and i sat, directly that i left said hat on a certain chair at a certain table. She quickly dismissed my question with a " no sorry" that seemed so unusual compared to how friendly the people have always been there.
Its kind of strange but true.
People can most certainly forget things said to them quickly but people always seem to recall how they feel when someone is either good or not so nice.
In my case it was the latter.
I felt like they were brushing me off
and treating me like i was invisible.
In these times of such uncertainty i do all i can to practice inclusiveness and not marginalize others.
However not everyone does and for that reason alone I will no longer be a 30 year customer of Capri
Im sure i will miss the food, deserts and fresh bakery goods but as I write this, I know I will not miss being treated as though i am nothing to the people there. I am not saying all who are there of course, but it only takes a moment to lose a 30 year relationship.
