Come on guys.gotta do better. Panzarotti flat as a pancake and cold pizza! Not pleased at all!

Decent place for a pasta dinner. Would def try other things on the menu. Dressing for beet salad was delicious but salad was missing the nuts stated on the menu. Warm atmoshphere. Not sure if it was pizza ovens, but my eyes really watered in there towards the end of our meal. Had a nice girls night out though.

Was there Sat May 27th with a group of 4. It was busy, what appeared to be the sole & only server was amazing! But the food was sub par unfortunately.
I had the chicken cacciatore. It was severely over cooked and dry. The side of beet salad had pretty much zero dressing, felt like a cow chewing on grass.
My friend had veal with side salad. Omg, poor guy, 5 small pieces about 1.5" x 1.5" and fillet thin.for $25.50 each. Guy was still hungry after his main dish. And to top it off, 45 minute wait for the meal. Atmosphere was good though. 2/5.

Best authentic Italian food in Hamilton. We've been going there for decades. The remodel puts this restaurant over the top. Must try.

We went for dinner for my mothers birthday. I’ll start with the pros first based on our experience. Seafood pasta and pizza was good. Cons for us was where we were seated which was next to the stairs leading to the washroom. It was a bit to crammed for us. Music playing was loud and heavy metal. I ordered the gnocchi with Gorgonzola cheese. I didn’t eat much of it as it was a bit over powering. My mother ordered the lasagna but felt there was way too much sauce and salt. Last time we were here was when Bruno owned it and it was great. Unfortunately we won’t return again.

Was able to walk in and get a table at 5: 30 on a Saturday night. Great service and good food.

Great food and great prices. Everything is homemade! We have been 3 times so far and will continue to come back!

Their signature dish is pizza. However there are no plant based pizza offerings. If you wamt pizza amd you are not looking for a plant based option, this is a great option.

Carbonara and the Bolognese were perfect and the meatballs were moist and Perfect!

Went for lunch here last week to meet some clients. It was a great atmosphere and the food was excellent (traditional tasty Italian). I will definitely be back!

My friend and I had a delicious lunch. We used to go there in the late 70's when we worked at the Hydro. We're hoping to go again for a small reunion.

I underestimate this restaurant. But their lunch menu proved me wrong.
The bread and olive oil and vinegar was right on point.
The backed pasta dish was delicious, and tasty.
The eggplan Parmigiano was equally delicious and well cooked. (I highlight well cooked since most restaurants don't know how to achieve this)
The crown jewelry goes to their coffee. The expresso was one of the best I ever had in years.
The service; very nice and courticious lady. We loved our small discussions.
I highly appreciated the owner/manager who made sure to great us when leaving.

After eating what was probably the most mediocre veal sandwich I've ever had on one of the smallest buns I've ever seen, I had to take a picture of the portion of fries that costed 2 extra dollars to add instead of having a salad with the combo. One picture is of the fries how they came, the other picture is after I spread the fries out into a thin layer. It's sad that I just ate dinner and now have to order Burger King. Italian restaurants are supposed to give you big portion sizes. The owners of this restaurant should truly be ashamed of what they served me.

July 3 we had a Baptism for my grandson. They served it. The sevice from the 2 ladies excellent. The small room big enough. They have room for bigger parties upstairs. I hope that more people come and check this place out. They have a great wine that I tried. Their pasta sauce great tasting. We will continue to have gathering their. Thankyou to all the staff.

The food was bland. The pizza was sub par. The service was slow. Over all the experience was meh. Won’t be going back.

Hey if u want inconsistency, this is your place! $32 pizza 15 pieces of sasuage, 8 tiny pieces of ham and mostly covered in rotten prosciutto. Last time we ordered, tons of toppings, perfectly cooked, fresh ingredients. You're a landmark, play the part, pleaase.

The food here is great, lovely environment, beautiful decor and good service. The bill was surprisingly cheap, I was pleasantly surprised. Our waitress Brooke was fantastic, we'll be back soon:)

Really enjoyed our patio visit the charcuterie board and our small gourmet pizza where delicious! That tomato sauce was star of the show!

Ordered 2 baked panzerottis through Uber eats and they were delicious! The portions were large and they arrived warm and tasty. The picture I took don’t do them justice - the toppings on the tops are what we ordered in them. Would recommend!

The food was delicious and drinks were also great. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Had a good time eating at this place.

Top notch italian food. Recently updated dining room Perfect for a family outing, a date night or a business lunch. Prices are in line with a quality restaurant.

I've ordered the lasagna once and the fettuccine alfredo. The lasagna is extremely salty with chucks of ham in it. Haven't seen that before.
The fettuccine alfredo had a very weird smell to it. Like they added chicken stock to it and too much nutmeg. Three times won't be the charm for me.

Wary of the negative reviews my family and I decided to give Capri a try after not visiting for the past 6 years.

We celebrated a birthday here with my in-laws. Nicky (Nicki?) was our server and she was fantastic. Very attentive and courteous. If anything Capri might want to have another busser/server for the dinner hours during the week as she seemed a bit overwhelmed handling drinks, Ubers, bussing and taking orders by herself.

The food was the real star here though. I had the home made tomato sauce with their home made noodles, Arrabiata sauce as well as the eggplant parmesan. Very good combination of spices and flavour, the Arrabiata especially, with moderate heat that builds with your meal. The eggplant parmesan was a huge portion and we could not finish it but we were happy to take some home with us!

The meals were also plated beautifully and served with what smelled and tasted like fresh basil! Our spaghetti with tomato sauce ran $13 (Arrabiata $16) and was filling and satisfying.

Our only criticisms would be possibly another server and the price of of the draught on top was a little high at $9. Definitely stick to the house wines.

It seems most negative experiences happen through delivery/takeout so there are definitely areas to improve upon.

All in all a great experience. We will be returning when we would like some Italian cuisine.

Food was ok at best, have had better at big chains. Area isn't the best (sketchy people walking by and someone stopped and asked us for money as soon as we sat down outside). Parking is paid in the area (parking lot across the street). Wine menu available but no drink menu which sucked. Would be nice to see some options. Would probably not go back.

Very wonderful staff. Very beautiful atmosphere. Very delicious food. Ordered Uber eats from here twice and eaten in once since discovering this place. To speak to how wonderful this restaurant is: I’m planning to have my wedding here in the Summer! Sal, the owner, is wonderful and provided probably the best service I’ve ever experience in my entire life in a restaurant. Anyone reading this, make sure you make this your new go to for Italian food.

Capri is our favorite Italian restaurant in Hamilton! The food is always fresh and so delicious! The manicotti and eggplant parm are fantastic. The new renovations look great but we always wish they would play classic Italian music to go along with the vibe. The price is always reasonable & the food is always amazing!

First time back in since the renovations. Looks wonderful and the food was just as wonderful. We definitely will be back again. February 27/21

People not wearing masks in the building, back staff had noses out of their masks. Went in and left immediately. Will not be returning.

We tried this for the first time this weekend. We did take out. The food was lovely - just what we wanted. It was tasty, simple, family fare. We have had fancy italian in the city (for special occasions) and wanted to find something more relaxed which wouldn't cost the earth. This hit the spot. The pizza in particular was very good - the zucchini pizza tastes so fresh! My daughter loved her alfredo - unlike others, it was not too rich and overpowering, nor drowining in nutmeg as some others do. It was light and perfect for us. It was all ready on time, and nice and hot.
Will most certainly be back!

This place truly has yummy porchetta. It was good to eat it and I also had a coors banquet. I don't know if they made it personally but they definitely sold me it.

This place is amazing, I definitely recommend this place. Their Italian food it the best you’ll ever have and the staff is very kind and friendly!
