First time playing at this golf course following a few recommendations - I will be back. Played the West Wing; it is very well maintained and easily an above average golf course. The cart girl came twice in the front 9, but only once in the back 9 - and it was at hole 16. This is not at all their fault but they would definitely benefit from having more staff serving the busy courses. Very limited food at the club house, especially if anyone has any dietary restrictions. There is a patio and "grill area" where food is paid for at a cash register which gives a fast-food vibe. No bar or service for the seating areas. Great location for golfing, with some challenging holes, and very high potential for corporate events and/or weddings.
3 hour fog delay and didn't even bother sending an email to people. Step up your game please. All you have to do is send an e-mail for that kind of lengthy delay.
Course was in good shape but wow be prepared for the longest round of golf in your life. Had a 4pm tee time on a Friday and barely squeezed in 18, finished around 9: 30
Had a great day. Hit the driving range, played 18 holes (course was in great shape) then the clubhouse for lunch. The staff and ground keepers were top notch. A little pricey but had an amazing day.
Played the West Wing course on Friday, August 4 on a beautifully sunny day. It had rained the day before. The conditions of the course were poor. Poor drainage created swamp-like conditions on every fairway that made it difficult to walk and hit. Sand bunkers were not raked, hitting out of there was like hitting on concrete. If you’re going to charge $66+ drained fairways and raked bunkers are the bare minimum. Some city of Toronto courses are kept better for the same rate or cheaper.
Additionally, our fourth person was unable to make our tee time, and I asked for a refund on his green fee. To my surprise I was only offered a rain check, even after I raised concerns about the poor course conditions. After using the rain check, I will not be golfing here again. A lot has changed at this course over the past few years…
Went with a group of friends to play golf we had 4 playing and 2 caddies with their own cart by the 4th hole we were being caught by a 2some behind us and the Marshall harassed us to hurry up and skip a hole then claimed our caddies were playing when they weren't kinda ruined our day after paying almost 100 a head for a round of golf will not be back!
Had a great time with my buddies here. Food services were closed, but we all expected that. Good quality grass, unlike a few others I've been to over the summer where covid limited maintenance. Had some frost issues in the morning so timings were pushed back a bit, but that was expected.
I had a great time golfing on the West course. The only issue was the drainage issues of the extra rain that we had that week. Maybe next time, a heads up would have been appreciated as to those holes to be aware of.
Played West course What a mess. The course organization is not obvious and doesn't flow well. Tee boxes were butchered and look to have not been moved/repaired in weeks. GPS in carts were good when it wasn't beeping like hell to notify you that somebody wine a prize in this hole sometime ago. Who cares! Not sure when I'll be back.
Went here for the mini golf with the kids. Not at all impressed with the covid practices. Staff not wearing masks. No signs of cleanliness aside from the bucket you leave your putters at the end.
Good service and good course set ups in theory. Last time I played the East it was SO waterlogged that the back 9 was almost unplayable. Don't open the course in that case.or tell people before they find themselves ankle deep in water for 12 holes on a sunny day.
First time playing cardinal and it definitely has a good mix of long 5's and tricky 3's. Staff was really nice and looking forward to trying out the other 3 courses.
