Caribbean Cabana

Phenomenal food. I got the general tao meal with a small chicken fried rice and that SMALL chicken fried rice ISNT SMALL that was enough to fill 2 people’s belly’s it was amazing & The general tao was very very flavourful they did not miss a single step 10/10

Great Asian style Carribean restaurant. Special chicken fried rice my favorite. It's a Sport bar style restaurant.

I got the chicken fried rice and an order of chicken wongs and it was good especially the chicken fried rice. The wings were very good and crispy only this is maybe a bitt ocer baddered but still good. There are other spots where I've had much better wings. Decent pricing cost me $26 and change for the 2 dishes, there relatively the same everywhere else.
There pepper sauce is amazing they juat give too lirtle like everywhere else
I'll definitely be back for chicken fried ric with chicken on top next time.

Just ordered from here for the first time through a food app. Was a bit nervous because of some of the mixed reviews. Must say we were really pleased. The lo mein, pepper shrimp, Cabana chicken and sweet and sour chicken were all a hit. Lost one star for the jerk chicken that came with the lo mein.it tasted like it was just reheated and thrown on as an afterthought. Won't be ordering that again but won't hesitate to come back and try other items on the chef's special menu.

The food has always been fresh & delicious. I’ve also ordered for big family functions & I’ve never been disappointed.

I have always enjoyed the food at Cabana. I love the Cabana chicken. If you like the Twilight chicken, you will certainly enjoy the Cabana chicken! Extremely spicey!

I'm really impressed with how delicious the food here is compared to some other West Indian Chinese restaurants in Scarborough.
The cut-up chicken is moist and flavourful, not dry like most places.
The lowmein is saucy and has a good amount of vegetables including red bell pepper and mushrooms. (usually it's just broccoli, carrots, onion, cabbage, spinich)
The special mixed fried rice is also moist and flavourful. I find that with other restaurants the fried rice is hard.

Ordered jerk chicken and spicy fries on delivery. Fries were fine, but had no holes cut into the top of the box, so about half of them were moist. Chicken was dry, burnt, and practically inedible - and also didn't come with rice or vegetables.

Ordered Szechuan tofu and vegetable chow mein. It was very good. Definitely will be ordering again! Also friendly and quick service. Web order was easy and the food was hot and ready to go when I got there for pickup.

Ordered off uber eats and got a call back saying you guys didnt have the black pudding. I asked to cancel my order, I was working at the time. The person on the phone made a big deal about canceling the order, tried to push me to just get the chow mein which I didnt care for. It was really the black pudding I was craving. Then they said they cant cancel it from their end I need to call uber. I insisted that they could, they said they'd "try" to cancel it and get back to me and I could hear the person cussing while they put me on hold. I was on hold for a while (I'm still working at the time) I get a notification on my phone that my order was cancelled but I was still kept on hold. I just ended up hanging up. If you guys dont want business just say that then.

Just ordered skip the dishes and this is how i got my order got no tamper proof seal bag anything could have happened to my food.not happy when I payed money

Giving them 2 stars because they had too many people inside and was not enforcing masks. People kept walking in from outside without masks. Very disappointed in this. Good food though.

Due to distance and wait time, i place my order over the phone and i never usually get what i ask for. The first 2 times i bought from here the food was great … upon until March the good hasn’t been Good at all. Last time i ordered Sunday. When i went home i got sweet and sour chicken with no sauce … I asked for more sauce and i got none, i also said i wanted more sauce 3 times because prior to the lady said she can’t hear me. I had to throw my chicken away because it looked so dry and unappealing. Don’t think I’ll order from here again cause my orders typically get messed up.

So I came here today to eat some food, when some disrespectful jerk lights up a cigarette 10 feet away from me under the overhang. Went to the server to ask her 5o tell him hes bothering me. She basically saud too bad, tgats the smoking area. I said not with an overhang like that above him. "You're wrong" was the response.

Their combos are worth it and taste good. Their hot sauce is really good. Definitely recommend to friends

Always love the food here. Delicious meals. I've tried multiple items on the menu and was pleasantly surprised with each one. Definitely a spot to check out and give it a try.

The food at this place is terrible. The wings were undercooked, the rice was mushy. Please don't waste your time ordering from this place!

Busy place with chill environment went there to pick up order for a friend. Really liked it, the owner was nice as well.

Ordered the beef and it had good taste but it was all fat. It was basically cooked beef fat. There was no lean meat at all in the order. Very chewy of course. I would not even expect this from some dirty hole in the wall. Quite disappointed as the other food was not bad. Totally ruined the experience for me.

This is part of a chain of restaurants. The food is absolutely delicious. If you don't want to wait long call ahead and place your order.

Growing up, Fridays are traditionally the day my family and I eat at a restaurant or get takeout. We ordered from here regularly throughout 2020 and it was delicious every time. (These photos are from May and August 2020.)

Service is nice but covid rules are very restricted, eas asked ti sanitize my card and the payment terminal when picking up my order. Little bit rude in a sense. Food was medicore and rice was very bland.

Told us it would take 10-15 minutes for an order and 20 minutes later when I went in, said it was another 10-15 minutes.

Honestly not sure what’s happening here. There was no one behind the cashier. There was a man passed out in the dining area. Menu had nothing Caribbean. What an odd place.

This place is worth giving a shot. They serve big portions for affordable prices. Always clean and with good ambience. I highly recommend this place.

I prefer this venue very much.there is a different atmosphere. The meals are superb.the service is effective and the team is professional. The cost is honest. I definitely recommend.

This spot knows how to serve their customers. Always with a nice mindset. The food is fairly priced, regularly delightful and neat.

Worst customer service in my life. I ordered 9 lunch specials, check my bill and they over charged by $3. I ask the cashier why I'm overcharged and she says the Singapore Noodles and some other dishes are actually $6.99 not $5.99. In the restaurant they have a huge poster saying the lunch specials are all $5.99. Even their Instagram posted the $5.99 price as well (which I attached). I told the cashier this is false advertising and that I'm not paying extra getting ripped off. She phones the manager who says the pamphlet says $6.99. I fully showed the cashier the Instagram post which is recent and pointed to the poster inside the restaurant saying $5.99. She wouldn't budge, a man at the bar told the cashier he will put the extra $3 on his tab and he ended up paying it. I gave this restaurant so much business and now I will never recommend this place to anyone. Spend money and pay someone to update your social media and posters and teach your employees to give better customer service. The food is decent but they barely give any meat in the dishes. My noodles only had 3 pieces of chicken.

I go to this restaurant quite often! This is my favorite spot to to have a good dinner. I visit this spot routinely. The cooking is very tasty, the team is welcoming and the rates are reasonable. I enjoy going in this spot over a good dinner.

As others have mentioned extremely slow service and food not worth it. Order and expect to wait 1 hour when told 30 min.

I ordered my food for pick up at 9 pm when I arrived the lady told me they didnt make my food and the kitchen was closed.
