Not like 3 or 4 years ago went downhill. I got DIARRHEA from there. This place need check the foods before giving out.

I ordered lunch for pickup at 12 pm expecting to receive FRESH food, however there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that the food was overnight reheat food from maybe 2 days ago. The rice and noodles were extremely stale it even smelled bad. People pay for FRESH food why would a restaurant not sell fresh food is beyond me. I had to throw the food out it was not edible. I will never purchase this establishment stale, reheat food again! No option for 0 star because that’s what this place deserves.

Ginger Crabs over cooked tasted stale and stringy, couldn't pull them out of the shell! This restaurant used to be the best Carribean Restaurant! What's Happened! Delivery on June 15/23

So not impressed with this location I had the exact same order out in Brampton and the food was absolutely amazing. The chicken is old and chewy and my chow mein was legit spaghetti noodles I would never return to this location what a waste of money

The food never disappoint no matter which location you go! The cleanliness, different discussion but I wasn’t here for sit down so that’s not part of my review here!

My 1st time at this location and it was as if I was sitting and taking food from the Albion location!

The spring rolls came out piping hot! Though they are expensive now!

The portions is always massive and I can always have a coworker finish me plate cuz I can’t do it on my own!

The only thing and I can’t fault them for this was the lack of pepper in my food! Almost like I ordered slight but I don’t actually remember asking for extra hot food!

Always been my favourite restaurant, been ordering the food for years. But lately things are starting to go downhill. Last time we ordered they were a bit stingy on stuff like the greens in the fried rice, the sliced pork and the pepper sauce. We always add extra sliced pork to the pork fried rice and lo mein and chow mein but it did not look extra at all. They also no longer have the free wing deal. I guess covid really does change everything. The girl who answered the phone and gave us our pickup order was so nice! She gave great service in person and over the phone.

I had a pre planned function with Jenny on Saturday. I booked weeks in advance. When my party showed up the food was not ready or out on time and Jenny wasn't even there. She showed up more than an hour after then the food had to be prepared. She had one waitress who was taking care of everything; bar, take out and our party of 25 while Jenny was on her phone and not even paying attention to us at the bar or didn't come check on us or clear anything while we were in the party rooms. I would not want to work there being in that industry before and wouldn't want to be a customer there either. Horrible service. There wasn't even toilet paper in the women's washroom. I had a function years ago when Alex ran the place and it went smoothly.

I heard of the place by a friend. It seems okay but honestly when I called to inquire about their restaurant the woman sounded so unpleasant very un engaging. That was a turn off. I know we all have our down days but I think they are just this way. I called the other store on Keele and thr SAME was for this location by a man who answered. Be pleasant especially to new propesctive customers. The attitudes of both left me questiining whether or not I will get decent service if I go. Yikes

This Is just straight up disgusting. No lobster meat should look black my husband tasted a pc before seeing this and he said it tastes rancid. Very disappointing.

The barbecue pork is memorable. I had to return to buy another meal. Caribbean ambience with some great staff, really caring.

Portions are generous, prices are good, taste amazing! I love the long beans in the Veg fried rice. Perfect crunch. Pepper shrimp is delicious but watch out for those habanero chunks!

Recently went to this location and the lady working behind the counter did not acknowledge my sister and I. There were two customers in the store and we stood behind a man as we thought he was waiting to place his order. The floor have the line separation due to covid restrictions so we were behind the line marking on the floor. After a few mins we asked the man if he was waiting to order he explained he already ordered. The lady behind the counter was talking to the next lady about crimes happening in Jamaica. The lady appeared to be her friends. We proceeded to the counter and she still continued to speak with the lady before asking us what we wanted to order. The lady’s customer service skills were so non existent I decided I was not going to order anything from the restaurant. My sister order her food and even while she was ordering the employee kept talking with her friend.

Great location and excellent patio in the summer. Ice cold drinks accompanied by hot appetizers makes for an amazing combo!

Food's amazing the pepper sauce isn't too hot but it taste real good specially with their dishes

If you think you can go here and get Oxtail or Bakes and Salt Fish you are dead wrong! Don't like the rice but the noodles are nice! Won't think twice or roll the dice that you'll get good service.

Excellent and delicious food, I liked the atmosphere this spot has, and the workers were super nice. I will surely eat here again.

This restaurant is my favored. I go to many restaurants but to this place I constantly return again and again. The crew is very receptive and the food they serve is so fresh and tasty. I would always prefer to have a nice dinner in this restaurant. I highly recommend this place.

Food is good but now it's getting expensive I usually order chicken balls with chicken wings for one person $23 is quite a bit

The owner Alex is great. This is my fav caribbean heat location out of all the ones I've been to! Their BBQ pork slices are so yummy

Went to meet with friends over a drink or two. Was a very relaxed atmosphere, friendly server. My friend had a bite to eat, and seemed to enjoy the plate of fried rice that was ordered. Nice place. Will likely go back again sometime.

I adore this restaurant! They give first-rate meals, their menu is nice, The chief cook in that place is well trained, I like a lot tasting all their dishes. The food is consistently of high class, the attitude towards the clients is helpful. I visit often this restaurant and I was never unsatisfied. I recommend it with no hesitation.

This location's food isn't as good as their others. We had their $6.20 take-out special; got their sweet and sour chicken with veggie fried rice, comes with a canned pop. They doused the food with sweet and sour sauce, which made it too saucy. Their chicken is cooked differently from one of their other location, not as good. Also their fried rice didn't have that smokey taste that their other location has. There's ample parking at the back of the building. Overall, we probably won't be coming back to this location.

Famous amongst my Caribbean peeps and even for a non- Caribbean like myself, I enjoyed the music, wings, drinks and overall, the ambiance. I'll definitely visit again to get a full perspective but in the meantime.go try them out for yourself. So now, that's my tide - what's yours?

I literally just got off of the phone with the lady (asian) after attempting to place an order. This is the Weston rd and Finch location by the way. I know shes Asian because I've had issues with her in the past and I know her voice. In any event, I simply asked her how much i had to spend to get a free box of wings. She proceeded to tell me $35 in cash. I begin to place my order for pick up and mid way through my sentence, she rudely interrupts me and says "how long are you going to be to get here? " I'm guessing they were closing soon and she was annoyed at the idea of having to wait for me. I immediately canceled my order after letting her know that I didn't appreciate her tone. I'm am giving them business and she is copping an attitude? No. She proceeded to hang the phone up in my ears. This lady is bad for business. Shes fairly young too, so I dont understand why her attitude towards people is so irritable. The food is otherwise pretty good, but I will never give this location my business again. I used to be a regular and I stopped going for a while because of her over a separate incident. If service matters to you. I high recommend you NOT to step foot in the Weston rd and Finch location. Despicable

The chicken fried rice was amazing, especially with the pepper sauce my bestest friend recommended this place for lunch & it was Awesome!

Went in to try their buffet, which wasn't bad for the price $13 for the buffet. But you're not going to get Mandarin quality if that's what you're looking for. It just didn't taste fresh to me. This place has so much potential and a in desperate need of a revamp ASAP.

Restaurant can do with a good cleaning. The place smells and grime are visible everywhere. Food has gone to the dogs, stale and distasteful. I have had better experiences here, but will give it a break.looks like they are on their way out

The food was awful, also smelled really bad in there. Had to talk over really loud music, so we ended up leaving. First and last time at this location.

Food was excellent but the music was inexcusably loud. You could not sit and enjoy the food or family. Music can be loud but not so ridiculous.

Very dissatisfied. I ordered a combo called pepper shrimp. At the keele location and the Albion mall location I get it with fried rice. Now I order it at the weston rd site and just get shrimps for the same 14 dollars. I had to order a separate fried rice.that cost me $7 plus. Totalling $22 bucks.

I eat here, but don't trust the pricing online. It's willfully laziness to not change the pricing when you raise the price. This goes against The Competition Act and its provisions. Not cool Carribean heat. Advertised on your site for 11.95 but charge 13.50 at the door.

Really enjoyed the food especially the lobster in black bean sauce.but the service sucks! Wasn't impressed by the waitress.didnt smile once and it felt like we were bothering her (had a party of 4). I would still go back but definitely not for the service!

Good fusion of Chinese and Caribbean foods. The lemon chicken is recommended. You can ask for the food to be not too spicy, if that's your preference.

Cheap price for cheap food. Spicy shrimp dish is deep fried shrimp with very little pieces of chilly over it. Didn't enjoy the Sweet and sour shrimp with BBQ beef spare ribs combo for one. Beef tasted old rubbery and you get 2 pieces of shrimp deeps fried. When you bite into, it's all batter and a tiny piece of shrimp. Offering this food its clear the Chef has zero passion. This place is not for me.

Go here quite often, very good Asian and Caribbean style cooking, very nice people, guaranteed a good time.

Manager at this location is not understanding.
They gave our order away to a different customer. Then we order for delivery and they lied to us about the time driver left to deliver we honestly think they lie thru their teeth.
Not good service and the amount my family has spent over the years the service this last year has gotten worse. NEVER again.
Also we seen the cook eating with hands in mouth and touching and cooking food.

Overall, the service is satisfactory.

Today, the cashier was displaying unprofession by watching something on her smartphone while cashing me.

Nevertheless, the food is good and the place is good for groups.

It’s become my staple and I’ve also introduced others to it. Great place for a Caribbean special fried rice and shrimps
