I had a great experience with Carity! Communication from Gabriella was top notch! Both the tech and the gent that came to pickup my card were both excellent also! The whole process was relatively smooth and any issues were quickly rectified. The initial offer was quite generous but was reduced by a bit following the inspection, however, the tech went through everything he documented which made sense to me. Overall, I was very pleased with the whole process and the best part was that I didn’t have to leave my house to sell my car - incredible!

Carity made selling my car super easy. I had previously had my listing on another website but I was not getting much response. I got a call from Carity shortly after and the gentleman I spoke to introduced himself and explained to me what Carity was all about. He asked if he could arrange for an inspection to the vehicle to which I was a bit reluctant but agreed in the end. On the day of the inspection the gentleman showed up promptly. I watched him go through the process and I must say that I was very impressed. While I waited for the outcome I was contacted by Gabriella and had a few conversations with her over the next few day both through email and text. I was so happy when I was informed that my car was sold, not the price I was expecting but at a fair price. I have to admit that I was a bit nervous when my car was picked up, I handed over my car and ownership and there was no money yet in my hand. Gabriella explained that the transfer could take up to 3 days. After the second day the money was in my account, you can't imagine how much of a relief that was for me. If I had to do it over again, I most definitely would choose Carity. Carity is definitely the way to go if you are selling your car, you only have to sit at home and wait for the process. Nov 2021 was prelim offered 20,100. Dec 2021 was prelim offered 18,900. Final offer after inspection 17,900.

I have just sold my car through Carity. It happened within just a few days, they did what they said they would and when they said they would - always there just a few minutes early. My car’s 4 years lease was coming to an end and I was about to return my car back to the dealership. I knew that my car was well under mileage and the dealership would have made a great profit if I were to just return my car. This is when I found Carity, who helped me make a profit on my car, hassle free. Carity bought my car at slightly below market value and I was able to profit several thousand dollars compared to just returning my car to the dealership! The cut they took from the market price was well worth it, as I did almost nothing and didn’t even have to visit the dealership. They came directly to my home to inspect the car and gave me a quote. I called my dealership and shared Carity’s contact with them. All the papers were signed online and they handed me my cheque when they came to pick up the car. This was great for me as I would have never posted the car online by myself to find random buyers. I had never heard about them before and i admit I was a bit skeptical at first at how transparent they were with everything as I had never heard of them before. It can be very stressful to sell/buy a car especially with all the scams and people wasting your time etc.and their whole process is based on making that experience more seamless for you and that was my experience with them.
I strongly recommend considering them for your car sale/purchase. I never once felt like i was being taken advantage of or pressured into anything. I worked with Gabriella and Newsha and they were just so pleasant and warm and i was very happy and satisfied with the experience.

I'd call this the industry disruptor- imagine selling your vehicle from the comfort of your home with no middle man, and receiving a price much higher than the dealers and almost on par with a private sale. I liked their transparency as evidenced by my correspondence with Gabriella, the top-notch third party vehicle who came for inspection, and the amazing ladies who came to pick-up the vehicle. The best customer service expertise I have had in dealing with car sale. The entire team is professional and focused on releasing the customer of any surprises and stress.
Initially when I first got a call from Matt, it sounded like a scam. Luckily I did not hang up. He explained to me the process and the execution was flawless.
Provided me an estimate of what my car is worth which was retail and not wholesale. Inspection was done and minor damage and recondition was deducted. Even that was not overstated as it would what I would have paid to get that done.
I was provided a final numbers of what my car would be bought for. They followed through on that and even provided me a copy of the bank draft so I can legitimize it from TD.
The day of the transition, the deal was smooth and the car was picked up from my home.

I had such a great experience buying a used car from Carity, by far the best compared to other dealerships! This was my first time buying a car and they made the process super easy and stress-free. I was able to go see the car and take it for a test drive before purchasing, and the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the make of the car and the industry. They even delivered it to my door with a full tank of gas. I was so impressed! (I live in a rural area outside of the GTA, so this was a huge accommodation for me!) Everyone on the team was very responsive and supportive when I encountered an issue after receiving my car. They set me up with a rental car and paid for all repairs needed! A great experience! Service above and beyond…
I was selling/representing a 2016 Audi A4 for a close friend that had recently returned to NZ. (He had tried to sell the car before leaving but had run out of time-He signed ownership/UCVP etc.before his departure)
Gabby (Gabriella Salcedo) called me, and offered a very fair price. I disclosed that I actually wasn’t the owner of the vehicle, but had the authority to accept her deal. She then very professionally indicated they would need a Power of Attorney from the owner, who was now in a quarantine hotel in NZ!?
Instead of dropping me like a hot potato from the obvious hassle that would take, she ran point. She called the owner (+16 hours), guided him to what she needed, and miraculously got the POA!?
The inspection revealed worn out tires, which indeed was the case, and a $900 reduction was agreed upon. 3 days later a lovely girl Newsha arrived (5 mins early!) to pick up the car.

In the process of selling my end-of-lease Nissan Leaf, Carity reached out and made me a good offer - you can choose a one time payment, or take some risk and get a lower first payment and share the profit - I chose the prior.

I was skeptical given all of the scams out there, but after talking to Steven, one of the principals, and doing some of my own research, I followed through and it turned out to be a great decision. From the inspection of the car, to the offer process to pickup, this company and it's representatives were exceedingly professional, knowledgable, polite and patient (not the norm in this industry.)

The difference in my experience with the dealership I had to make the sale through painfully poor communication and out-of-date methods) and Carity (mostly digital, and well-communicated) was starkly different. I think they are on to something in their business model if they are able to replicate this experience at scale.
