When I first went to Carleton Vet services I thought they were amazing. I had no issues getting in and they would call to follow up, my first apt there my dog was a rescue and the vet actually sat on the floor to do the exam. Now I’m am not impressed with the service this past year. I brought my senior dog in as he had an eye infection. $200 and I left with some cream. A few months later I had to go back for the same thing they gave me the same cream and told me if it didn’t work to call and they would prescribe something stronger. The appointment cost another $200. A couple months later I called and was told I’d have to come back and it would cost me another $200. I decided not to and got OTC meds and it cleared up. This past September my dog was in distress. I called to make an appointment and they wouldn’t take me they referred me to the emergency clinic. I decided to wait and see and he got worse, so I called cause I knew I had to say goodbye. I told them that and they still wouldn’t give me an appointment and reference me to the emergency clinic. I finally found a vet in Winchester that got me in right away to help me say goodbye. I don’t know what happened to their service and empathy but I would not recommend them anymore. I used to refer everyone.

I was very pleased with the care and attention provided to my dog at my recent visit to the Carleton Vet Services, and for the time the veterinary and veterinary technician took to explain things. It is good to know my much loved pet is well taken care of!

Bear is a very anxious Bloodhound. The staff are amazing at shuffling our Bear in and out without greeting/howling at other dogs. Dr. Lima was so good with Bear and the technicians new when to stop the attempt to trim his nails. Will be back with sedation on board for Bear!

The employees are the nicest and friendliest people of all the animal hospitals around our area. Also you cannot beat the invoice pricing that this veterinary animal hospital anywhere around the area. I have been going there with my cats since 2014 and would not change for anything or anyone.

Pls do not use this veterinary clinic they cost my family 10,000$ for a torn acl! They told us she was fine was just a inflammation, so we took her home 2 weeks later she was laying on the road with now 2 torn acl, when I called to confront them on the issues they said it’s not there problem but they fired the vet that told us are dog was fine! So ontop of the of the terrible vets there they called the almonte vet who was to do the surgery and told them to not help my poor puppy! I know this cause they accidentally sent us the email where they told the vet not to help are dog absolutely disgusting fat pathetic humans! Pls pls pls take your pets anywhere but there

Love the staff at the front desk. They are the first point of contact. They are very friendly. I love the decor in the waiting room and how the tv was on a sitcom instead of depressing news. As I met other staff members in the back, they were also just as friendly. I have already referred your clinic to my friends. Thank you.

Everyone is very caring, patent and knowledgeable. I will never take any of my pets anywhere else.

I have been a client of Carleton Veterinary services for around 20 years. I appreciate their honesty and fair prices. The staff goes above and beyond and they are always happy and friendly. I’ve heard people say that their dogs hate going to the vet but my dogs (past and present) are always happy to go. This says it all! Thank you for all that you do!

The staff and service has always been great. My dog is not good with other dogs and they make arrangements to ease our stress when going there with no other dogs there at time of visit or has a room waiting for us.

Amazing staff, our kittens have been well looked after. I would follow Dr. Wicks anywhere they go.

Refused to take my animals in because of an unpaid invoice. The unpaid invoice? They forgot to charge me the tax on a spay and neuter surgery for my 2 cats. As far as I’m concerned that’s their mistake not mine. Goes to show they don’t really care about your animals they just care that they get paid.

We went to Carleton Veterinary Services after our dog tore her ACL and we were having difficulty finding out what our options were for her. Dr. Lima and the vet tech (sorry I’m forgetting her name but she has a big boxer!) went above and beyond to take the time to explain everything to us. For a vet to not rush us and answer ALL of two nervous dog owner’s questions was amazing. We would recommend anyone go here. Thank you!

Dr. Lima and his team are outstanding! They gave us hope and helped my Poppy feel like a puppy again. After months of pain due to eye problems, we finally found Carleton Veterinary Clinic and we were welcomed like family right away! Dr. Lima and his team successfully performed entropion surgery to both her eyes and checked in every few days to see how she was recovering. Thank you for being there to help my girl and to answer my many questions. We are truly grateful.
