Absolutely appalling service. No call backs, send you to the US for escalation and they couldn't care less. A Carrier dealer Comfort Pro red tagged our 5.5 year old 987 big deal furnace and held us ransom for changing the exhaust pipe which they say, isn't up to code. According to Carrier's installation guide, it is installed correctly! Carrier techs hides behind email, Comfort Pro still (after 10 weeks) hasn't provided a written quote, no one calls back, Carrier says its not their problem. 2 weeks before the Propane company cuts off propane who happens to be good buddies with the HVAC Dealer.playing with our well-being and ransom money. Shameful.no recourse. Cu sotmer service sucks! They are not accountable.

Buyer Beware!

As I write this it is -21 degrees and waiting for parts to ship from the US.

I have had a top of the line Infinity ICS furnace for 6 years now. It worked ok for the first couple of years, there were some bugs initially, but since then almost every part in the furnace has been replaced by the dealer under the guidance of Carrier. Carrier service was on-site 4 years ago but have never been back. The dealer, Aire One, has performed all the work since then and continually supported me coming here multiple times at no charge to get the unit working. I do a routine service on it every year.

This is the second time within 6 months that the furnace has failed during sub zero temperatures and it can take a week to get the parts because they don't stock them in Canada. Although there is a 10 year warranty Carrier refuses to replace it and think this is acceptable to go though.

Their customer service supervisor was apathetic and annoyed to deal with this. The customer service manager for Canada has never called me back. The whole experience with Carrier has been frustrating and the single worst purchase I have ever made. I will never own another Carrier product nor recommend one. I would however highly recommend Aire One as they have done nothing but their best to resolve this issue to the extent that they are replacing my furnace out of their own pocket because Carrier won't replace this now discontinued model that cannot be fixed. Rare in this day and age when a small company steps up where big companies like Carrier will not.

I am completely appalled at the commercial services division. As a Senior Member of an OEM manufacturer and service entity, I am fatigued with the effort that is required to get and answer, or even someone to answer the phone, or return calls in a timely manner from this organization. Their staff is apathetic, unreliable, and consistently fail to meet the expectations that are clearly set when a member of our staff is actually able to get through. There is a sense of entitlement, and an obvious lack of commitment to even the very basics of customer service.

Our client base regularly conveys circumstances where they feel bullied by the financial mandate of the company, which uses discontinuation of support on OEM products to push new sales.

The system forced me to select ONE STAR to be allowed to post, but in reality, I would not select even one.
