Very satisfied with the work done by CARSTAR Pickering. I had a run in with a deer which left my mirror destroyed and several dents and scratches on the driver's side front and rear doors (the deer was fine!). When I picked up my RDX I was all smiles as you couldn't tell anything had happened at all! A big thank you to Tom, Deanna, and Natalie (sorry for calling you Nicole, twice lol) who are all very friendly and made this stressful time a super smooth experience. They took care of everything with insurance and rental car (which is in the same place!), the work was done on time, and my car was returned clean inside and out. Not looking to have another accident anytime soon, but if the unexpected should happen would definitely return. Great job, team!

The quality of the body work provided by the company was commendable. However, I encountered a significant issue regarding the handling of payment and the unprofessional behavior of their administrative staff. Approximately a week after the service, I received a call notifying me of an error on their part, as they had failed to charge taxes. They requested that I visit their location to make an additional payment. Unfortunately, I was unable to comply as I am currently out of town.

During the conversation with the administrative staff member, I inquired about the possibility of making the payment over the phone. I assured them that I would call back to arrange this. Regrettably, at the conclusion of the call, the staff member failed to properly disconnect the line, allowing me to overhear a conversation between her and a colleague. To my dismay, she referred to me as a delinquent individual who was fabricating excuses to avoid paying the outstanding balance. I was disheartened to hear her mocking my voice and manner of speaking. Furthermore, she proceeded to engage in a heated argument with the person responsible for the tax omission, resorting to profanity and threatening to deduct $125 from each employee's paycheck.

In response to this distressing incident, I promptly called back to address the matter with the staff member. Initially, she attempted to shift blame onto the person who made the mistake. However, she eventually conceded that she had indeed characterized me in the manner I had overheard. Finally, she offered an apology, citing that such situations frequently arise when clients fail to pay after promising to do so. I made it abundantly clear that I bore no responsibility for their internal issues and that her behaviour was entirely unacceptable.

Given the unprofessional conduct I experienced, I have made the decision to never avail myself of their services again.

Unbelievable. If I could give a six star I would. Extremely friendly people. Great price. Dropped off and they needed 3 days. Called me and asked if I was okay that they only needed 2 days. Excellent quality. AND when I picked it up the had detailed the interior. I just had the front fender replaced. Would recommend to everyone.

They are a very professional team. The final result of the repair is excellent and they take care of all the details. 100% recommended

I was referred here through insurance. The repairs were done well and in a timely fashion. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and helpful. My car also came back to me cleaned on the inside and out which for that alone was almost worth the price of my deductible. Wouldn't hesitate using them again!

I went to Carstar Pickering in the summer of 2021 for some body work (replace 2 doors, fix a fender) after my new Mazda was involved in a collision. My observations:
- Carstar's quoted price was pretty fair, as compared to 4 other quotes I got for the same repair from nearby places.
- The quality of the repairs, as far as I can tell, is excellent. It's been 6+ months, and everything still looks/works great.
- Tom Akleh was pleasant to deal with.

My only quibble is that the repair took two weeks instead of initially quoted one week after some parts didn't arrive on time, but:
- I wouldn't necessarily fault Carstar Pickering for that (COVID messed up automotive supply chains).
- Carstar Pickering covered the cost of my rental vehicle during the entire time (it was baked into the deal) which was very cool.

All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Carstar Pickering to others.

This location was such amazing to deal with. I was referred to them by my insurance company after someone had side swiped me on the highway and heavily damaged the right side of me car.

I went to check them out and instantly, Tom, was a pleasure to deal with. Very personable and honest. He helped me and was able to give me a quote within 5mins.

Ultimately I chose Pickering CARSTAR and I’m glad I did. The work was perfectly done. My car looks brand new. Tim kept me up to date throughout the process and went seamlessly.

He even arranged to have my rental ready and available which was also on site.

I would definitely recommend as this is the most honest and professional staff with great work as the outcome.

My vehicle was rear ended which left a hole in my bumper along with damage to the sensors.
The person that hit me requested not using insurance.
I went to Carstar explaining that I’d like it repaired fairly cheaply as the other driver preferred to pay cash.
Jacob from Carstar was very friendly and understanding.
He said he’d quote me before 4pm and he did exactly that.
The other driver decided to use insurance after all but that was no problem for Jacob.
He redid all necessary paperwork and had everything approved right away, had a rental car booked and ready to go.
All the while, Jacob kept me updated with what was happening the whole time.
My vehicle was completed on time and appears to be as good as new.
My experience was really great.
I should also point out that there was a lovely woman working in one of the offices who came out and said hello as well, she too was extremely friendly and courteous and I wasn’t even dealing with her directly.
Even the owner of this location came out of his office to great me and say hello.
Overall, a great experience even if it was from a car crash.

I can't say enough about this location. I used them 10 years ago to fix the hood of my car and their work was incredible back then, so of course I decided to go back this time around. A couple of months ago I received three quotes to replace my windshield, fix my front bumper, and the passenger metal sidewall (dent and paint repair). To begin with, Carstar was the best price of the three. Not only that but they also provided me an instant quote that they stuck to, their service team was beyond friendly, my car was ready two days ahead of schedule, they were very communicative, my car was fully washed and detailed upon pick-up, and the job they did on my vehicle was nothing short of incredible. It looks brand new and I couldn't be happier. I can't say enough about this location - It's the only place I ever plan on going for car repairs.

Tom is a super nice person. As I was in their parking lot on the phone to my insurance company when he came out to make sure I was ok.

I didn't think twice about where I wanted my car repaired. They have done great work on my brother's car in the past as well as my neighbors so I knew I was in good hands. Tom explained in detail what they would be doing. He provided me timelines for the repair work and was bang on. He took care of getting the rental car all sorted out as well.

The overall work is impeccable and the colour match was just perfect.

My car was recently hit by a tire on the 401.unfortunately with the damage it wasn’t drivable; I brought it to Carstar Pickering and met with Tom. I explained that I needed my car to get to work, and that because I didn’t have rental car coverage and the other vehicle didn’t stop, I was stressed about not having my car for long/having to pay for a rental. Tom was very kind and understanding and got everything organized to have my vehicle repaired as soon as possible. Some of the parts are on back order and because we’re not sure when they’ll arrive, Tom fixed my car as much as he could and made it drivable so that I didn’t have to pay for the rental longer than I have to while I wait for the additional parts to arrive. Throughout the entire process he made sure to keep me updated on what was happening and did his best to keep my mind at ease. Although I’d never wish an accident or car repairs on anyone, if you find yourself in that situation I’d highly recommend Tom and Carstar Pickering.

Had our Elantra in to fix some small dents and scratches to the rear side panel and bumper area. Came back looking great. Area looks
brand new. Came in less money than I expected and on time as promised. Will definitely go back if any other car repairs or body work needed.

Gus and his staff exceeded my expectations with my Toyota Camry. Everything was explained to me in advance and I was kept in the loop at all phases of the process. My own insurance company failed me in getting my case reviewed as the new app process they had started was not beneficial for the damage done to my car. After being involved in an accident which seriously dented the driver's side door of my 10 year old car, the repair work done by Carstar has my car looking brand new! Carstar went above and beyond and even fixed a dent in the rear door. They waxed the outside but also washed the car mats and polished the entire interior. I am beyond impressed and happy to post this review.

Extremely over priced
they put on a false persona to comfort you and then rack the bill up as high as they can when you're guard is down
They failed to even wash the car properly once it was done and offered a water bottle as their solution

Do not go to these guys if you have Insurance estimates and repairs unless you want your tail light cover and a small scratch to cost over 2000$

Also they are very protective of their billing information as they do not want anyone to know exactly how much they charge until after they complete repairs

also their receptionist was extremely rude and intentionally wastes time as though she doesn't care about her job let alone you or your vehicle

They took the stress right out of being in an accident from doing a beautiful job, went above and beyond, even set up my rental needs to where all I had to do was sign on the dotted line. They will definitely get any future business I might have. Thanks guys
