I called Call Star head office and spoke to a Mat and he was very rude on the phone. Would not answer my questions and even h/U on me twice. UNBELIEVABLE

Frank and team at CARSTAR Scarborough North East were amazing! They were very easy to communicate with and kept me updated on the progress on my vehicle. I couldn't be happier with the services they provided.

Frank and his team did a great job fixing up my wife's 2016 Toyota Venza.detailed inside out. The receptionist [Hansikka] was also very professional.definitely recommend CARSTAR Scarborough North East.

From the moment I walked in, to the moment I walked out, it was a customer-oriented and pleasant experience. I had an unusual request to paint my chrome emblems for a custom project on my Porsche. As promised, sharing a picture of the newly relocated badging on my 981 Cayman GTS. A likely first in the GTA, thanks to Frank and his team!

I tried to use this business, however, due to the owner, I didn't. And I'll never try this place again even if they would do it for free. The owner was rude, unprofessional, and it looked like he made racists comments to another customer. He told the person (who spoke in a strong foreign accent), he didn't like how that customers spoke. When the customer asked for an explanation, the owner continued to berate him. I shook my head and walked out.

I recently had my car repaired at Carstar Scarborough NorthEast and I am so pleased with the interaction from start to finish. Frank is down to earth, understanding, knowledgable, and the work is top notch. The communication with all staff at this location has been friendly and helpful. Franks team took great care to have my car looking and feeling like new in good time. Brilliant customer service and amazing results. Highly recommend this shop.

It was pleasure working with Frank at CARSTAR NorthEast. From the start he kept me posted on the status of my vehicle. He constantly worked with the dealer on the parts status and was able to deliver the vehicle inspite delays in parts from the manufacturer. I would highly recommend.

I came across Carstar Scarborough North East through our auto insurance company. My Honda Fit front bumper was hit. Insurance company gave me few body repair shops to choose from. I picked Carstar Scarborough North East because my husband’s car was sent to this location few years ago and he was very happy with the outcome of the repair. From the first phone call with Frank to learn what are the steps, first meet up at the shop with Mary and Frank for quotation, dropping off the car for repair, and picking up after repair…the entire experience is TOP NOTCH. My insurance company booked rental car for 5 days, I paid extra for my rental insurance. The car was repaired in 3 days. Carstar saves me two days of rental insurance money. Aside from that, from the time my car was dropped off, I received daily emails of the status of the repair. They keep me on the loop of the entire process like car is in painting status, etc. They even had my front headlights buffed (not sure if I am using the right term) and my fog lights fixed! Don’t think that they asked me to do the review, I was the one who convinced and coaxed Frank to sent me the link coz I would LOVE to write this review in return of the AMAZING experience I had with them. It took me few minutes of convincing him to send me the link. They are very PROFESSIONAL, HONEST, and again TOP-NOTCH in the industry… Hats off to Frank!

Vehicle 2017 Highlander: Repair done on paint, front bumper and rim. Best customer service from Frank who takes pride in his work. He is very patient and clearly explains the process of the repair. The work the mechanic have down are flawless and very detailed oriented. Thank you for reducing my stress during the claim with flawless operation from the inspection to the estimate and to the rental. Hands down, don’t not regret choosing you guys to repair my vehicle. My experience with Carstar was great so far. They were very punctual and professional when taking my car in. They finished working on my car a day before it was scheduled for. I had some special requests and requirements and Frank was kind enough to accommodate them. I highly recommend them!

I was in a collision with an 18-wheeler truck on the 401 highway. After placing my claim with my insurance, I found that Carstar was listed as a certified auto body shop, so I contacted them for their services. Upon arrival, Carstar was following all Covid-19 protocols in accordance to the Ministry of Health. I dealt with Frank at the front desk and he was nothing but professional and helpful to my situation. He contacted Enterprise to provide me with a rental vehicle which came to pick me up. Throughout my repair, I received emails and calls for updates on the progress of my vehicle. Upon completion of my repair, I was given all documents related to the repair and given a walk-around to see exactly what was done. I couldn't be happier for the excellent job they did on my car! My car was looking sweet! Thank you Carstar for your wonderful service and staff! Everything from beginning to end was wonderful.

Went through my insurance to CARSTAR and would say that I had a wonderful experience. Frank was very professional and helpful when I had any questions regarding my car. I would definitely recommend CARSTAR to anyone that needs work done on their car.

I had my car fixed here after a small collision. I wasn't updated with anything and they took so long to finish repairs that my rental ran out. When it was "ready" the colour was way off and there was pieces missing under the bumper. Never again

Despite feeling terrible about getting into bad accident this place took great care of me and fixed my car up as good as new! Really great work. I'm very impressed

I was referred to CAR STAR through my insurance and from the first interaction I became confident that the estimation and claim process will be a breeze.

The agent was very transparent over and phone and in person. Explained the process exactly as how it’d play out. I handed over my car and my rental car was ready for me and in two days my car was ready! I picked it up and it was like brand new. Couldn’t be happier. Excellent work and excellent service.

I had given my car for a repair but when it was returned, the paint was scratched and the car was not fully fixed. I ended up coming back to get it fixed but once again the scratch was still there. I waited for more than an hour and was disappointed in the service.

I had some scratches in my front bumper due to a minor collision and I was recommended by My insurance company to choose car star.

Initially when the car was dropped the customer service was good and I was provided with a warm welcome with smiling face. The scope of work was so minor and the car is supposed to be fixed in 2 -3 days. I got a call on Friday evening (IE, 3 rd day) and confirmed vehicle is reAdy for pick up, when I went there were several issues in car ex: painting issues, front panels near tyres are also not bolted / hanging. The basic quality test will not pass. I was made to wait nearly an hour in the store and directed to rental company for a rental car, got to wait anather hour in rental company to get a rental car as it is long weekend. The guy in reception was so rude. My evening is entirely spoiled.

Thanks to Raj, who came from the workshop and apologized for the poor quality of work and helped with formalities.

I had to wait 8 more days for the basic stuff to get it fixed. I was so suspicious what’s happening in my car and had to email / call them to get updates or response.

Even though the telephone service was poor, they did respond to my emails late.

Glad I got my car fixed at last with multiple review and correcting the work done through inspections.

Don't ever bring your car here or matter a fact don't bring it to any CarStar this was the second CarStar I brought it to, and they were even worst than the first Frank you a piece of you know what. People don't bring your car here you'll regret it big time. It's a dump like the owner and workers.

They worked on my Audi Q5 rear bumper and instead of fixing it, they damaged it in multiple places. Damage which aren't visible if u dont see them properly, no one bothered to inform me about the damage and I didn't notice it too. They promised we that i would get the car in 3 days, 3rd day I was there to collect the car and after waiting for almost 2 hours they told me it isn't ready yet we will call and let you know when it's ready, they took 5 days to get the work done. The paint finish was the worst, I you really love and value your car this isn't the place to get it fixed. The owner worked out a nicer deal and I was trying to make it cheap for the person who actually bumped her/his car into my rear bumper, but it looks like an expensive deal for me now. Dont get you car fixed at this place, even for free.

2 star for treating customer professionally especially Raaj, who has always been nice to me since day 1. Would have given 3 star if the guy named Frank didn't come attacking me saying he doesn't care about people leaving a bad review because of their poor service. Hadn't he said that, I would still give a 4 star nice review even after they gave me a hell lot of troubles with getting my car fixed after an accident in which I had damaged one of my headlight, hood, grill and the radiator. My car broke down in the middle of the street and puked coolant all over the place after they gave me my car back waiting for 38 days to be exact. I had to fight with my insurance company to give me more credits as my initial 1500 dollars rental credits was used up. They gave me 500 dollars more but still ended up paying 200 dollars for rental. They are affiliated / partnered with my insurance company and I never knew that their service is so poor. I had to take my car 4 times to finally get everything fixed. Also had to pay another 124 dollars for rental when they took my car for the 4th time. If your insurance company gives you an option to choose these guys, never do the mistake of making this choice. Tell your insurance company about this review and also the other reviews left by dissapointed and fraustated customers like me. Frank (may be the owner) doesn't care about your satisfaction or bad reviews. He told me he is doing business for 30 years and he doesn't care about reviews.

HORRIBLE PLACE! Frank, the owner, is rude and BS's about anything and everything just to get money out of you. Had a small scratch and dent on my bumper, and got their contact as they worked with my insurance company. Frank does not have your best interests at hand, he will only do whatever he feels is in the best interest for him only.
