I had an emergency pop up and needed my car finished quick. Frank and his team got it done quick. It was just a bumper that needed replacing but they did it well and even cleaned my car for me!

I went there since this was insurance recommended repair shop, and I regret it.
First of all, the paint job is terrible. The color does not match, I don't think they used the same color code.
Second, they changed my rear lamp without my authorization, or proof that it needed change.
Once I realized, I called them back, Ralph insulted me, and refused to provide any proof that the rear light needed to be replaced.
I'm geniunly unhappy and will file a customer service complaint.

I contacted Carstar to explain that my bumper liner came off while driving. A gentleman by the name of Mike asked I go to the shop for them to access. He did so & confirmed I needed a new liner, in addition he checked to see if there were other damages and assured me it was safe to drive the car. He explained the waiting time for the order, installation date and time. The entire experience was seamless. Thank you Mike for the repair and assuring my safety.

These guys are legit! I had autobody work done work on my car after a collision accident and Frank and team at Carstar made my car look brand new. They updated me constantly and we so friendly ever step of the way. I would recommend them to any friends and family members I know. Thanks again:)

Had an amazing experience at CarStar St. Clair. I got into an auto accident and was sent here by my insurance company to get my repairs. Frank & his team gave above and beyond customer service and were very reliable. To start off, Frank went into extreme detail when examining my vehicle for damages. He was able to spot internal damages to my car that were not noticeable to me. The parts were ordered within a timely manner and the auto shop was very flexible to scheduling my car in for maintenance, due to my complicated work schedule. After the repairs, I was left in awe seeing that my vehicle looked brand new. I was also surprised to see that the team took their time and cleaned the interior of my car, was well as the exterior. Overall, great customer service, friendly smiles, and amazing people to work with. I would highly recommend using this auto shop

My truck needed body work completed through an insurance claim. Frank, Mike and the CARSTAR team were very helpful. Frank was professional and walked me through the process and delivered on the expectations. They completed the work on time, as promised. He was patient answering all my questions, communicated well, did the job in a timely fashion, set up my rental car for me and the damage to my car came back fixed perfectly. Last month, an oncoming driver took a left into my lane as I went straight through an intersection causing me to t-bone them. My Volkswagen was remarkably not totalled even though it looked like it was!
Frank Abate took amazing personal care, gave me the exact right amount of updates (not too often, but often enough to reassure me) and made my car look as beautiful as the day I got her!

Frank Abate was like Mr Wolf from “Pulp Fiction”. He gave me a date and time to drop off, had a rental car pick up waiting a just handed the keys. It was done 1/2 a day early and looking like new. Highly recommend!

I've only had one experience here so far, but based on first impressions I am incredibly impressed.

I have a used sprinter cargo van that had a dent in the rear door causing a leak. I made a consultation appointment and within a day was out there talking to Mike. I did not expect that within a 30 minute process, they would have the worst part of the dent pulled out so that the doors now seal.

I should say, it hasn't been rain tested yet but Mike was very transparent about what might need to be done if the leak persists.

A previous mechanic had tried to fix this and Mike pointed out some of the mistakes that had made. I got the impression that he really knows what he is talking about and cares about customer service.

I found out about this shop because my insurance brought me here, when I arrived all the staff were very happy and ordered a rental car for me while I waited for the car to be repaired. Then they called me back to pick up the car, Repairs the smallest scratches even though it's not from the accident. Something a driver like me appreciates.

These guys are solid gold. I’ve had 4 repair experiences with 2 separate vehicles (over the last 4 yrs.). I would recommend them to anyone. Communication and workmanship was well above what I expected each time.

Frank and his team did a superb job of repairing my fairly new Mustang Mach-e; a construction van backed into my vehicle and punched a hole in the trunk. I received courteous and speedy service from the CARSTAR staff; Frank took the time to detail what needed to be done, documented all in a written report, and gave me a reasonable timeline for the repair to be completed. The finished product was beautifully repaired - a lovely car returned to its original gorgeous look. Frank and the team did an amazing job repairing my 2012 Prius V. It's an older car so I was surprised that they could find parts in good condition so quickly. Their service is very professional and they were very good about communicating progress on the repair. The car looks like new after significant repairs.
