Just got my CHR back from a grill replacement. Carstar Welland even did the due diligence of checking other systems and hardware during the repair and found my headlight was damaged as well and replaced it. Car was ready within their estimated 5 day window and car was cleaned inside and out, very impressed.

Overpriced! Don’t go!
I went there because other TD bodyshops have longer wait time. When I left my car with them, they rented a car for me and the employee said he would send me the quote later that day or the next day at the latest. But I never received the estimate until next week when TD informed me of the approval. Their estimate is $ 1600 （20%) higher than Fix Auto! No wonder they’re not busy at all. Wouldn’t recommend because they’re really not trustworthy. Other body shops gave me an estimate in 30 minutes and they didn’t and waited a week. If I want to switch to other shops, I need to pay them $60 per day for storage and 4*$60/hour for tearing down, which adding up to $660! It’s just insane.

Vehicle was rear-ended and Carstars in Welland was an approved auto body repair shop on our Insurance Company’s list. We had also checked into it beforehand and were impressed by the good reviews so were happy to follow our Insurance Company’s recommendation. They did a beautiful job on the vehicle - you would never know there was ever an accident. The paint colour on the car is a Pearl White and the match is dead on. We are very satisfied with this work they did for us. A shout out to Laurie who handled all the communications between ourselves, the car rental company and our Insurance Company. Good service all around.

Just received my vehicle back from a repair of my CLA 250. Had a great experience from appraisal to delegation from Lori and the team, to communicating to my insurance company and myself.
The car looks great and I would recommend to anyone.

Over-inflated quotes on a simple bumper repair.
Was originally quoted 2-3 hours in-person, review came back to quoted over 10 hours or more.
No way it takes that long, shop elsewhere and save money.

My insurance company directed me to Carstar after our accident. The worst experience ever! I would not recommending them! There is no customer service, lack of communication or accountability for their work. Horrible horrible!

Staff here made the process of a vehicle write-off very easy. The front desk staff helped with removal of plates and ensuring all personal effects were removed from my vehicle

I had an unfortunate incident where my brand new Ridgeline was struck and not reported. I won't get into my personal feelings about lack of accountability, as that is an entirely different post. I called Lori and her team right away and was treated with utmost professionalism and care. She spoke with Allan and together they approached this with me the customer in mind. In the end she had my vehicle back the next day all fixed and without the eye sore blemish this other person left me. I can't thank them enough as we are all struggling right now to just get by. Thank you to Lori and Carstar Welland staff for looking after me and my new truck. I can't imagine recommending anyone else with my repair needs.

The staff at Carstar are very helpful and friendly. The mechanics in the garage went out of their way to accommodate my my needs, and to keep me safe. Great positive atmosphere all around:)
