Staff very helpful (I have walking issues). Michaela (?) went out of her way to help me and I am most appreciative. See you on Feb. 29th.

Our wedding group was booked several months ago, unfortunately 3-4 days before the appointment there was a lot of confusion with our appointments. All that to say we did get the services but not as a group which destroyed the atmosphere the bride and her party were hoping to get. The bride did talk to the spa manager and I wrote them a note, nothing. Still waiting to hear from the owner. For future brides, visit and get confirmation several times. By the way there is other places that can provide a better atmosphere for the wedding party without the stress of mixed and divided appointments.

Excellent service! We got pedicures as a family outing (even my dad!). The staff was super friendly. We’ll come back as an annual pedicure tradition. The mimosa was awesome!

Leen gave me the best pedicure and I felt relaxed with her. I recommend Carte Blanche anytime.

Place is very nice but service wasn’t all that, the moment I walked in, the people that were standing on the front desk just got super weird and made me feel uncomfortable. I got a wash, cut and blowout. Wash was terrible, I mentioned that I had lots of dry shampoo in my hair yet she barely washed it, the cut was not bad but when it was time to get a blowout, she did not use heat protectant, I had to remind her then she started blow drying which wasn’t bad honestly but it was not even close to the inspo picture I showed her but that wasn’t really a problem, after the blowout, I also had to remind her again to apply serum on my hair. Honestly I shouldn’t be doing that because I am paying for the servies for a reason, I could’ve just done it at home if anything. Might give this place another shot with a different stylist and hopefully I’ll get better experience.

I rarely take time to do reviews. But I had to express how impressed I was with Emily. I was told that she was great with colour correction. They weren’t kidding.
I went to her with a messed up Balayage and came out very happy with the results of the colour correction. Right away I noticed how professional she was. She calmed my anxiety about my hair being damaged and reassured me that she cared about the integrity of my hair. Her experience in foil placement so that my hair would turn out looking more natural was evident as I watched what she was doing. Would highly recommend her and Carte Blanche. Many times I’ve walked out of a salon with buyers remorse paying high prices and not walking out happy…. Not here. I felt I actually got what I paid for. Thanks Emily.

A salon to look up to! Friendly service, amazing aesthetic & atmosphere. My first professional hair cut in 4 years, Jackie (sp?) exceeded my expectations. Extremely attentive and asked throughout the haircut what I wanted.superior service and I am in love with the cut! Will definitely be back!

Loved my experience here - everyone is so lovely and is there to ensure you’re comfort. I’ve never felt so well looked after during a hair appointment, nor have I had so many folks ensure I was comfortable (ie.having drinks, comfortable position, etc.)

This was the first time I’ve been sent back to my chair to wait instead of sitting with my head cranked back in a sink which was neat and I really liked it! They also make sure you’re perfectly comfortable between each step.

I also appreciate the bright professional atmosphere and helpful recommendations! Roy was my stylist and it was such a treat. He had amazing suggestions - I wasn’t sure what I wanted and was beyond happy with the result. It’s not often I leave a salon with a beaming smile - like the kind where you’re excited to sit down and examine the colour in pictures and selfies and show your friends?

Also I love being able to sit and chat, but I especially love being able to sit in silence/moderate quiet, and so this was also an extra treat.

Thank you Roy and all the staff at Carte Blanche! I just moved here and know where I will be going from here on out for hair cuts / styles / etc

Awful, avoid. You know what you did, what you said, and how you demonstrated you're against Ottawa and its young people.

Carte Blanche is an excellent spa with a very friendly atmosphere, knowledgeable staff and extremely great services. They are very attentive to your needs.

This is my favourite spa in Ottawa. I tried many other places over the years but I always found my way back to Carte Blanche. They are simply the best. The staff are friendly and very professionnal, the salon is clean and feels luxurious. I really recommand it.

Edit to add: I went back and they fixed the chipped polish free of charge. It was still quite expensive experience, but it was nice to treat myself!

The pedicure was nice, but 2 days later, the polish already chipped off one nail.

I LOVE this place! I always feel well cared for, and the stylists are very talented. I have no problem getting an appointment, and the hours work for me also. The scalp massages are my favourite! Thank you, Don! I am very pleased with the results!

Got a Hair cut I showed a picture and she ended up cutting my hair so short and looks nothing like the picture very upsetting the hairdresser kept on apologizing as she knew it was to short and looked nothing like the picture wouldn’t recommend

I was excited to try a hair salon with good reviews and finally be satisfied after a simple trim but alas. Looks like the job was done with kitchen scissors. Not much else to say:/ I was seen by Ruba.

I had my first “Express Spa Day” at Carte Blanche Haute Couffure & Spa in Orleans, Ottawa and I was treated like a Queen by their fantastic staff.

I had a strawberry red pedicure, a Kerastase shampoo, trim and blow-out plus a Virgin strawberry mojito. They even have a food and drink bar - it’s total luxury!
It’s well worth the trip to Ottawa!
