We were about to go to this restaurant a number of years ago but changed our mind after we saw the decor. This time we were very pleasantly surprised with the decor and ambiance. Would have been nice to have Italian music in the background though. The food: we ordered the rigatoni jambalaya and the gnocchi. The rigatoni were delicious but the gnocchi were a bit bland. Dessert was tiramisu which was very authentic (not that easy to find authentic tiramisu). The wine was very reasonably priced and they had half litre options which was perfect for us. Prices in general were very reasonable and we would definitely come again

Loved it here! From appetizers to my main to my dessert, everything was phenomenal. Hands down the best lamb shank I ever had. Service was also great. Can't wait to return!

The owner treated me and my son like a pc of garbage. He was rude. Food was awful. And this is the ONLY place in Milton that I do NOT recommend to anyone. I frequently go to Pasqualino and La Toscana and if you’re looking for great services and food that’s where you should go. Definitely not here!

Amazing meal. Can't say enough about the taste of the food. One of the best meals we have ever had. I would highly recommend. I wish we lived closer. It would be our go to restaurant.

Made a reservation for 4 people on Feb 11,23 for 7.30pm. Wanted to experience the Winterlicious offering. Place was packed and was seated upstairs. Service was terrible. 3 of my party got served after 1 hr. They forgot about my meal as I had to remind them I had been waiting for 2 hrs. Was given the excuse that they were short staffed. (Then don’t accept reservations that you cannot handle) In summary, Food was really tasty and well prepared. Service was terrible. Don’t go there when they are busy.

I had to review and share how lovely this restaurant is - the owner personally greeted and took care of our group, and all the food (appetizers and mains) were delicious and authentic. Fresh ingredients, tasty sauces, you will not be disappointed if you're looking for some delicious authentic Italian food!

Everything was amazing! I had the bruschetta, calamari & rigatoni jambalaya. The service was impeccable also, such nice people.

Casa Americo is a nice & cozy family owned restaurant in Milton. Food and service is top notch. Despite being busy, Mr Amreek (owner) always finds time to chat to the guests. Very personable experience. I would recommend this restaurant highly but do make reservations ahead of tim.

We came here for dinner while we are on our travels, and let me tell you this place is amazing, from the great staff to delicious freshly made food, so it will take some time fyi. The owner was so nice, he even served us some of our plates, and done some accommodations for me. My husband loved every dish and its definitely one of our favourite restaurants now, that we will come back to. Thank you again.:)

I was really looking forward to dinner at Casa Americo after reading all the great reviews here.
Was seated quickly on the patio and enjoyed being in downtown Milton.

I started with the Calamari Diablo. Sadly, it was so chewy I couldn't eat it. I tried 4 different pieces and they were all the same. If the pieces were small, it may have been easier to eat - but I couldn’t bite it without using my hands to help rip it in addition to my teeth. When the waitress brought out my meal, I let her know that I wasn't able to chew it and she could take it away. She asked if I wanted to bring it home, but I said no thank you, that I couldn't eat it.

Next I had the steak with marsala sauce. The flavor was ok, but cooked exactly as I asked, so that was good. The veggies didn't have any seasoning, the mariana sauce with penne was excellent. I should have just ordered the pasta and my meal would have been great.

Another woman came out to ask what was wrong with the calamari. I told her it was just too chewy to eat and she told me other tables had it from the same batch and didn't complain. She said she'd talk to the chef. When she came back, she told me the chef and others from the kitchen tried some off my plate and said it was fine, that calamari should be chewy. I let her know I wasn't looking for anything for free, I just couldn't eat it, I've had calamari in many places and this was too chewy to even bite. She reminded me again that it was good.

I found the customer service very frustrating. I didn't even send it back, I just asked for it to be removed from my table. I'm very easy to please and can enjoy almost anything.but to be told over and over again that I was wrong left a bad taste in my mouth for this restaurant.

I had nostalgic feelings at this eloquent restaurant. The staff is welcoming and the food tasty and classic.

Saturday Lunch with my family of 4 as a walk in casually dressed.

Staff was extremely friendly and the owner was a true gem. I have never been to a restaurant that treated me so well and explained to just order 1 dish for the kids rather than spending the money on 2 when he knew they wouldn't finish it. This little bit of honesty brought me here to write this review.

The restaurant is clean and cozy and the food was delicious, kids were served extremely fast which is always a bonus.

I will definitely be going back. Try it out.

We ate here tonight and have been here 4 other times. Every time I am in love with my dinner! I love all their menu items. Tonight I had the Haddock Chimichurra and was floored (and I'm not normally a fish eater) but loved this dish as much as a steak dinner. The food is so flavourful and perfect variety without doing what every other restaurant does. The bread is fresh and awesome and the deserts are fabulous. The dinners are my fave. The owner/manager is always amazing and staff are also friendly and courteous. I love the location, the atmosphere, the fresh roses on the tables, the staff and most of all (and most importantly) the food. My fave spot for dinner in Milton.

Had dinner for the first time and was extremely satisfied both with the food and the service. The owner and his wife are so friendly. There were 4 in our party. We all ordered different pasta dishes and everyone loved what they had. I highly recommend eating at here and will definately return!

Had a fabulous Valentines dinner from your restaurant on Sunday evening! WOW - I ordered the grilled calamari appetizer and Cajun tilapia dinner. The taste and portion size was more than I expected and the flavors were delicious! I am so happy that you offer gluten-free to suit my dietary restrictions as well. Fantastic meals.

We enjoyed the Salmon dinner with the baked potatoes which was cooked to perfection.

The schnitzel with the mushroom reduction was very delicious.

Excellent every time. Owner is the nicest man. He remembered our group from years ago and welcomed us back. Cozy ambience. Appetizers and salads never disappoint. Try the bruschetta or calamari. Fresh pasta dishes are gorgeous and halibut special was to die for. Good wine list. Not great beer options, but that's not a big deal for most people. Separate bills were handled tidily for our party of 10. We'll be back.

I contacted Casa Américo one week before my sons baptism as the venue we had originally chosen had fallen through for us and Amreek really came through! Not only did he go out of his way to apologize for the other venue, he did everything possible to ensure that any accommodations needed, were met. The food was absolutely delicious, service was exceptional and my only regret was not contacting them in the first place! We can’t wait to go back as it is definitely worth your while!

The absolute worse service ever! After 45 minutes and still no app’s that we had to wait half and hour just to order… they finally brought bread and butter which we asked for because we thought it may be faster… and they forgot the butter… 45 minutes to get bread. 30 minutes to get our glass of wine. The owner/manager/greeter/maître d’/waiter/, bartender controlled staff and room. He was ridiculously short staffed and disorganized. It showed in the food. My husband’s red sauce was so thick it was like from the bottom of the pot. My penne tasted like it’s been sitting in water. Took forever to get our bill. And the last time we were there it was the same chaos only this time it was worse. My veal Marsala was good but we won’t be going back and we’ve been there several times over the years. Too bad! I liked their menu.

Still good but they lose a star for the food on Thursday last in particular the Veal Piccata which was well overcooked. Service / Atmosphere was great as always. They seem to be hitting their stride once again after pandemic restrictions.

One of the worst experience in a restaurant, It was too busy. Couldn't hear yourself speak. Service was terrible. Never again.

Food was excellent, came out hot and quickly. Had the arancini to start followed by the chicken parmesan and seafood linguini (daily special). Unfortunately, the only thing stopping this rating from being a 5/5 is the service. We had to wait about 40 minutes after our mains were cleared for the server to come back to our table to ask about desserts/coffee. By then we were no longer interested. I would likely return hoping that the service this time was an oversight.

Excellent food and great service! We had the jambalaya (with angel hair pasta) and the lamb shank, and they were both amazing! Their extended patio provides a great street dining experience. Would definitely come back again and recommend to anyone looking for quality Italian dining.

I’ve always had a great dining experience at Casa Americo. Often I ask the owner for a wine suggestion and I've never been disappointed. This restaurant can get busy, but because the well thought out 'soft' decor is never noisy and conversations are easy to be had. We're lucky to have a restaurant of this caliber in downtown Milton!

We had the best service and meals here! Going to return soon (for takeout during COVID) and 10/10 would recommend!

There was very little I didn’t like here, hence my rare 5 star rating. Staff here was accommodating and friendly. Food was tasty.some of the best fried calamari I have had — and I eat a lot of calamari! Really cute restaurant in very cute part of town. Service was quick and little to no errors. Have been here many times with my wife and every time we love it. The food is amazing! Wide variety of classic Italian dishes and other amazing foods. I do not like seafood but love the grilled calamari, great texture and the toppings of olives, balsamic, sautéed onions help it to not have a strong seafood taste. The cost is very reasonable and the portion sizes are large. The staff are prompt and go above and beyond. Even the owner comes out and greets the diners and makes you feel welcome. Highly recommend this place.

Take-out for Mother's Day because dine-in is not an option during Covid. Veal parm, with veg & potato and caesar salad/crab cake starters. Great spicy dip to go with the crab and high marks for the salad.
Very pleased with our dinner and will definitely be back when they open for dining.

Very bad experience, fish was bitter that I couldn't eat it, risotto was very heavy, manager did nothing about it. And The other plate was very oily, my kids pasta was below average, Never again

Stopped in to see the menu and asked the server if I could use the bathroom, he right out refused me saying the city won’t allow me to go in. I will never visit this establishment again. The food might match his attitude.

Great place for a date night. We got the jambalaya pasta and the chicken pasta which were both amazing. The food took a little long to come even though the place wasn't busy. However I do recommend it for a nice date night.

Having made a reservation at the restaurant across the street where we waited forever, we left and went to Casa Americo. We loved it! Food was amazingly tasty, the service was excellent, and the manager was very engaging. What put my rating to the maximum was the quality of their Tirimasu! The best I ever had, OMG! Will definitely return.

This restaurant provides wonderful service as well as enjoyable food. My favourite restaurant in town. The meals served quick and the rates are economical. Recommended.

Overall a decent experience, but nothing exceptional. Servers were friendly but could be more personable. Food was good quality and fresh, portion sizes were above average. They charge for pop refills which I'm surprised about in any restaurant these days. Decent wine list but only 2 available options at the time for draft beer even though 5 taps were behind the bar. Overall a slightly above average Italian restaurant. Many better options close by and it was our first experience here but nothing really made us want to come back or really despise the place.

Just finished a lovely Xmas lunch at Casa Mia. For anybody celebrating, they do a killer soup. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough, especially with a window seat. Outstanding service from the owner. Excellent value for money, this restaurant strives for customer satisfaction.

Yesterday I held the baptism reception for my daughter at this restaurant. The owner and his team were so amazing, my family can't stop talking about how great our experience was. And the food was absolutely delicious! Even their salad is mouthwatering. This owner and his team truly love what they do, and its evident that their passionate about bringing tasty meals and a great experience to all that go to their restaurant. Thank you for making Evelyn's baptism one that I and my family will never forget. I will most definitely be coming again to this amazing restaurant and spreading the word.

A friend of mine took me out for an early birthday dinner. I chose Casa Americo because they had escargot on their menu. It was a great choice, staff was lovely with helpful hints of what entres to select. The food was excellent! Since my friend ate my mashed potatoes after his bowl of seafood linguine he unfortunately did not have room for the desert he had chosen before I even sat down. So, we will be back to enjoy another meal soon to make certain he gets his desert!

I celebrated my PhD earlier this evening in this excellent restaurant. I am glad to say that it was a fantastic evening and the place was undoubtedly one of the reasons for that fruitful evening. The stuff helped in a very nice style, the cuisine was appetizing and my friends were very overjoyed. We shall no dout return for more celebrations. Thank you very much.
