My go to dim sum place. Probably the biggest dim sum restaurant in the GTA. There is always 500-600 people for dim sum in the morning, weekday or weekend. The mall’s car park can get filled quickly. You can park at other mall entrances and access the restaurant from inside the mall.
Shout out to Lucy who always takes care of us so well! Also to Kitty.
I definitely recommend you visit this place for dim sum. The more people the better as you can many more of the their dishes. There is a huge dim sum menu and you can also order daily menu specials.
I have also tried their dinner service a few times as well, food is great. They had a Peking duck special on Mondays - definitely worth a visit but I think they have paused the special.

Portion sizes are so small, food is cold, taste is bland, everything here is just right out nasty

It's a solid choice for big banquet hall dim sum in Scarborough. Menu service (no push carts) and they serve big portions, but be prepared to wait for a table if you go on a weekend. The staff have always been very kind to us, sometimes it's our whole family for a holiday meal together, sometimes just me and Mom catching up over yum cha! The waitress also flagged to me that they automatically add a 12% tip to the bill — this is becoming a standard at many Chinese restaurants, otherwise they'd never get tips — so read the bill and don't over pay! We still added a personal tip for our lovely server, and the manager who came over to say help us with the menu and have a little chat.

Food wise, it's good. I think perhaps they are trying to be "all things to all people" and end up not specializing in any particular area. Lunch menu items cover dimsum, chow mein, chow fun, congee and soups, seafood at high prices, and special event banquets. Oddly the wohtip pan-fried dumplings only come in batches of 12 instead of the standard 4! From past experiences, it can be a hit-or-miss when it's packed on weekends. We've had better luck going after the lunch rush at 1: 30-2: 30pm on weekdays. This time we ordered the stir-fried pork + beansprouts on crispy chow mein fried noodles, beef + cilantro cheung fun/rice flour rolls, pan-fried lotus/turnip cake, fried chicken wings and chrysanthemum tea. It was a hit! I love that they serve the chow mein noodles on top and to the side of the sauteed pork and beansprouts with gravy. This is good-forward thinking cooking to keep the noodles crispy and not all soggy when it arrives at the table.

Good food, price right, very crowded. Have to wait for table for some time if not booked in advance.

Service need to improve in all aspect. Waiters barely speak english, waiting too long to be attended, due to poor communication wromg dish to serve with more than 30mins of waiting. No customer service satisfaction at all.

Haomen Banquet is an authentic Cantonese delicacy and one of the best high-end restaurants in North America. It is really commendable that it can maintain a good food standard after the epidemic. Usually, there is basically no need to wait for a table. The waiters are very amiable, courteous, and always available at reasonable prices. Affordable and with ample free parking spaces, I believe this restaurant will play an important role in the community and shopping malls

First time visiting Toronto, Canada, and my family took us here for dim sum. It was sooo delicious and my youngest daughter was so entertained by the robot serving racks. She took quite a few photos and videos of them.:)

Since I live in Washington, DC, I'm pretty much deprived of fresh and authentic Cantonese dim sum. I was so happy to eat here!

The surprising winner of the dishes was the Cantonese style pork knuckles in a ginger vinegar stew (豬脚薑醋) that my cousin ordered. I didn't know you could order that at a dim sum restaurant. The only time I got to eat that was when I gave birth to my kids. I gobbled up every drop of it because it was so good.

They had unique dim sum items that we didn't see on menus before, such as avocado eel cheung fun. They had Cantonese style fried chive dumplings that my husband ate so much of.

We really enjoyed our meal, time with family, and the service was good also.

This was an extremely DISAPPOINTING experience. I experienced this firsthand when I called to check if they were open, as some restaurants close for private events. The person on the phone was extremely impatient, almost as if I was bothering them greatly. Despite this, I chose to visit the restaurant. I ended up waiting AN HOUR for just two dishes. Repeated inquiries about the wait time were met with vague promises of "soon. " By the time the food arrived, my appetite was gone. I questioned a server about the typical wait time, which she claimed was 20 minutes. I then asked the manager why my order took an hour, to which she replied that they were busy and abruptly walked away, ignoring me mid-conversation. WORST EXPERIENCE. IGNORANT MANAGER. NEVER go to the place! Btw, the restaurant was way TOO NOISY. I feel headache when I was waiting.

As long as you get there early enough, its not difficult to find a parking spot.
Environment is tidy and clean, aisles are spacious enough.
Service is good and the quality of dim sum is there.
I enjoy looking at their busing robots running up and down the hall.
Price matches value here, it doesn't disappoint me at all.

Food is good but prices have went up alittle and they don’t have before 11am specials on weekends anymore

The wealthy family should also be famous for their morning tea. It’s really delicious! Every time I think about having morning tea, the first thing that comes to my mind is that it’s a wealthy place! Although the price has increased, the taste has not changed. The barbecued pork cake is really the best, it is fragrant and crispy! A must order! The portion of lobster noodles is very generous, filling you up and making you feel delicious!

Banquet house style dimsum restaurant. Great spot if you are looking for a not overly fancy place to enjoy good dimsum bites and friendly service. Prices are good and so is the food.

It is always my Dim sum spot. I sometimes Yum Cha with a group of friends during weekends and they have a early-bird session before 10 on weekdays.
The staff is nice and dim sum is always with large portions and taste really good. I live nearby and it is convenient.
