We were at Casa Manila Danforth to celebrate the birthday of our beautiful friend, spouse and sibling. She was not only astonished by the service that Maria and Maddie provided with the drinks, but they were also incredibly accommodating and patient.

We ordered a variety of drinks and the Kamayan dinner which they presented to us with a small but beautiful performance.

At the end, we wrapped up the night with gifts and a birthday cake which they set up with a large sparkler.

Maria and Maddie were amazing! Would could back again

First time having lunch here! It blew me away! I've been craving for Kare-Kare for a long time! I had it and it was amazing! Try it and you will love it too!

4 stars because the staff are friendly and accommodating. I went here with my friend to have coffee & desert after we had dinner at a ramen restaurant nearby. We love the ambiance but my experience sitting in a chair there is quite uncomfy. Kind of space is tight. I love the coffee! We ordered the ube cake because it's one of my favorite Filipino cake and for my Canadian/Italian friend to try it for the first time. The taste is good but not fresh. I love their toilet very clean and smells good! I haven't tried their main dishes but planning to do that one day.

Our server was really nice and had a very good recommendation. We had tried the plant based option of the Laing and my girlfriend loved it, it was so good! The vegan Adobo was kinda sour but the tofu sisig was my favourite!

A very nice place to have a filipino food. The food is delicious and worth the price. Very accomodating and welcoming staff. We will be back for sure.

The food is good and good customer service too. Chicken adobo and Lechon kawali is so good.

Definitely getting your money’s worth with their portion sizes for their food items! Delicious food, and the staff here are super friendly and welcoming, quintessential Filipino hospitality. Ube milkshake is on the thinner side but the flavor is just right. They gave me a sinigang sample on the house which was tasty, packed with flavour, and vegan (to my surprise!). Will be back

Service was amazing and the food tasted great. The place had a nice vibe to it. Definitely a good starting point if you want to try out Filipino food. They also have a solid selection of Filipino dishes that they try to modify for vegetarian customers (mostly, it's replaced with tofu which is pretty good). Overall, I had a great experience.

A simple dinner treat of my birthday.

Parking on the street is busy but there's pay parking around the area which is like 1 block away.

Very good to take your family with kids, lots of food choices and desserts.
Stuff are accommodating and was doing their best extra effort to make our experience memorable and make it a place worth coming back.
Good luck and keep it up!
Merci Beaucoup!
Maraming Salamat po!

Got TooGoodToGo (food waste reduction app) from here. The tacos were delicious! The place looked really cozy and pleasing too

Ordered 3 items, dissapointed with portioning. I can understand if we're in the Philippines. Chicken lumpia burned, arroz caldo well below expectations. Chicken adobo with garlic rice is ok but underportioned. I'm sorry but I'm quite dissapointed.

Enjoyed the location, atmosphere, customer service and quality of food. Casa Manila never disappoints:)

Casa Manila Danforth is the second location of this Filipino restsurant. It's easy to see why they're expanding: the food is good, the owners Mila and Zaldy bring a flamboyant and friendly Filipino vibe, and the place, while smaller than the York Mills location, is maximized and tastefully decorated.

We dined here a few times and got items from both their breakfast and main menu:
- Sisig: The sisig was sizzling and super crispy (yum!) but some parts were a bit hard. Likely just opening month kinks given Casa Manila York Mills has a really awesome sisig, so not worried about Danforth having the same soon. Also, good for two people so it's a great value.
- Chicken BBQ Skewers: Good basting - has the traditional Filipino sweetness without overdoing it. Comes with a generous mound of garlic rice.
- Chicken Adobo: Meat was tender, and there was this great kick at the end. Mila said they use apple cider, and that really makes a difference. The adobe tasted classic while also having a nice twist.
- Beef Kare-Kare: The beef was lean (which is great, since it's sometimes fatty in other Filipino spots). Also, while I prefer my kare-kare sauce super thick and peanut-y, this was pretty good.
- Bangus Silog: Straightforward fry on the bangus, with a generous heaping of garlic rice and two sunny side eggs. Would have preferred the traditional achara, but they mixed other veggies in it for an Asian slaw (not bad, just personal taste).
- Laing: Good amount. I prefer my laing a bit spicier, but my wife loved it. You can customize the spice level.
- Halo-Halo: A bit pricey for the size. That said, this is a beautiful classic halo-halp with all the classic mix-ins. Bonus points for making their own icecream, which was really creamy.
- Ube Milkshake: I prefer my milkshakes super thick. This wasn't it. That said, it was creamy and the fact that it was on the thinner side made the ube taste pop more.

The owners also gave us some freebies to taste:
- Pandesal: One of the best in the city. Airy and chewy, perfect on it's own or as the "bub" to a slider.
- Ube Cake: Owners gave it to us for free. It was very chiffon-y.

Looking forward to seeing Casa Manila find its footing in the Danforth. Will stop by again to try their other dishes, and kamayan once they offer it.

What a great selection of dinner options; the chicken adobo Filipino tacos and pancit bihon tasted great! Would come by again even just to grab a slice of cassava cake and calamansi iced tea. A bit pricey but (in this economy) the food was worth it. Shout out to all the staff who were friendly and kind to answer all our questions about Filipino food and culture.

We got a free taste of the tamarind soup before our meal and what a flavour profile! Excited to come by again to try something new.

We just came today to dine in as it is mentioned as OPEN - totally closed
We usually eat at York Mills and seeing that it’s closer at Danforth, we drove for dinner
very disappointed that it’s closed and no sign when it’s gonna open, except for the sign “now hiring️

Food from the Philippines is shared communally and offers an eclectic fusion of influences. I love the original location of Casa Manila and was excited to come to the newest spot.

It recently opened up on the Danforth and offer a Pinoy ambience. This location recently had a social where we got to try a variety of dishes. Some recommendations include: the Chicken / Gulay (plant) Adobo on garlic rice, Pork Bicol Express (coconut + ginger flavour), Calamansi mojito and the ultimate Halo Halo dessert.

You can try a varitety of dishes in their new convenient takeout concept. Vegan and vegterain as well as seafood options are
available. They even have the traditional kamayan (communal) style eating concept as well that is a fun and unique experience to try out.

Mila and staff did a wonderful job sharing a deeper insight on the Philippine culture and provided such wonderful hospitality.

Very easy to get here by transit and also street parking is available.

This was my first time at the restaurant and trying Filipino gastronomy. I was delighted, and from taste to service, this experience went beyond my expectations.
We tried the caldereta, the lechon, a mix of cooked vegetables in coconut milk, a pork dish I've included in the picture, and as a dessert, the cassava cake. Until 6 pm, you get tamarind soup and rice too!
Alejandro’s service and recommendations were excellent, and the rest of the staff were too.
I recommend this hidden gem of the Greek Town!

This place is too expensive for what your getting. It took forever for the food to come out. Not going back.
