Took quite a while to receive our meal and it was mediocre, we have been there a few other times an had a much better experience, would try coming back again at some point.

Food and service was spectacular. My only complaint would be the restaurant needs an interior update.

Actually the best option here is GREEK.

Excellent food, large portions, friendly service. We came because my son wanted to try the lamb chops and he said they did not disappoint.

Made last minute reservations. Enjoyed a delicious dinner; server was friendly and informative. I had the Mediterranean Chicken and my husband had the beef slouvaki - both dishes were amazing - served hot and generous portions.

Food and service was outstanding. The clean environment together with the great staff completes the wonderful experiences.

We enjoy this restaurant for the pasta but were surprised to see they had fish and chips. The fish and chips are actually listed with the kids' menu as adult portion. The fish is a good sized filet with a thin crispy batter and was hot and tasty. The tartar sauce was good and the fries were OK. My spouse had their excellent baked pasta. They do not have Greek or Italian beer but have Stella that is a good substitute for that European taste.

Casa Mia makes excellent Greek salad and Caesar salad. Their dressings are homemade and delicious. Online ordering for pick up was easy and efficient. I am looking forward to returning to Casa Mia for dinner in the restaurant. Thank you.

Gillian, our waitress, could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The Prime Rib and New Year’s Special were beyond our expectations! We will definitely come back soon.

I had to cater for a lunch for 20 people. It was excellent from start to finish. Exactly as ordered and the quality was 5/5. Thanks again to Nick and team for great service. It also nice to support a local business that strives for excellence.

My spouse and I had a great dinner at Casa Mia. My spouse had Pasta and I had Halibut. Both mains were prepared perfectly. The service was spot on, and the Italian / Greek atmosphere was nice and relaxed. Went to several restaurants in Barrie during our visit, but Casa Mia was the best by far. Highly recommend.

Yes! Finally, Casa Mia decided to share one of their best signature dishes -The Greek Salad-on their Barrielicious winter menu. I have to be honest; I eat this salad 3-4 times a month. Every time I enter this establishment I repeat the mantra, "I will try something different"; I never do; why I torment myself I don't know as this establishment, hands down, has the best Greek Salad. In fairness, my loyalty to this salad has prevented me from trying other Greek salads from other establishments in Barrie for the last 2 years. I am open to the challenge so please suggest your best!

I usually don't like to leave bad reviews but yesterday I went for a take out chicken souvlaki at lunch time and the chicken was raw. I didn't have time to return it to the restaurant because I had to go back to work. I used to go there because the food was good but I think this is unacceptable and I could get sick because of that.

Veal marsala was tasteless (no flavor), the grilled calamari was rubbery and also tasteless, the chocolate cake tasted like a Sara Lee cake. Our server was nice, the wine was excellent. Not impressed, decor is dingy, we went there as a member of our party has mobility issues. Waste of money, time, food was below par.

Waitress was great and so friendly and the food was great and delicious! Excellent service all around and restaurant atmosphere was great as well!

I had the Mediterranean chicken and it was amazing. The seasonal vegetables it came with were beyond my expectations - they even had slices of beets. So delicious. My partner had the chicken souvlaki and that was great too. The tzatziki sauce is so creamy and amazing. The server was lovely!

Delicious food. Service was possibly a bit slow but that may be because we skipped appetisers and everything is cooked fresh. We were happy to chat over a glass of wine and fresh bread while we waited.

Four of us went for an early dinner on Saturday. We all had the same thing: fried calamary and chicken souvlaki. Food was very tasty and fresh and portions were good size. Place felt welcoming and our server was wonderful. We will be back, thank you!

I'm sorry to say that our dinner was not very good. I had the chicken souvlaki dinner with roasted potatoes, rice and salad and my wife had the linguine Alfredo. We also shared a sesame crusted feta appetizer. The chicken souvlaki was not very flavorful and the roasted potatoes were bland, the best thing about it was the rice and the tzatziki. The Alfredo was also not very flavorful and the Sesame crusted feta was frankly just a waste of money. We will probably not be returning, there are much better Greek food options out there!

Food was decent. I really enjoyed my rack of lamb. No real mint sauce, just the jelly type which was slightly disappointing but not a deal breaker.

Overall the food was a solid 3.5 stars.

The service was less desirable. Not very friendly and quite dismissive.

We came to celebrate a family members 72nd birthday with the family.

We told the waitress that it was a birthday while the birthday boy was in the washroom to see if they could do something small like most restaurants do and were told that sure you can order something from the dessert menu. This was very surprising and a first for me.

Service a solid 2 stars mainly for that reason but also just meh in general.

Had the service matched the food then maybe it would warrant a 4 star review. Just a shame as the waitress was not very pleasant at all. She didn't even wish him a happy birthday.

We went here for the first time last night. We got in a little after 8 pm and it was quiet. Very nice atmosphere. The service was friendly from all the staff, the food was delicious and the prices reasonable. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic restaurant! The establishment is very clean and nicely decorated - very welcoming atmosphere. The menu is incredible! Every dish looked delicious - and I will be returning many times to try every item! Jillian was our server and she was very attentive and friendly. When I asked for a red wine to have with my steak - she brought me a really delicious DOC Cabernet Sauvignon that paired very nicely on the pallet and with the nuancé. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, and I am really looking forward to our next visit! Thanks for a memorable evening Casa Mia!

Old school vibe! Picked up lunch during work. The Greek salad with chicken is a generous portion. I love dill and was pleasantly surprised that it was in the Greek dressing however it was a little overwhelming. Pro tip: order min 30mins ahead!

Delicious and fresh Greek and Italian food.came here for the first time after skiing and enjoyed warm friendly service and great food - garlic shrimps, garlic bread, souvlaki dinner and Halibut dinner with extra veggies on the side for 2 adults and a 4 yr old! Had the house italian soda and 2 lattes - very satisfied and food was nicely cooked with natural flavors (not overly salty). Hit the spot and will be back again next time we are in the Barrie area, when indoor dining is back.

Also love the traditional and homey feel of the decor!

The Mediterranean breaded Chicken tasted store bought and the veggies weren't cooked properly. Very dissapointed.

Food was very basic. We decided to just order appies and wind it up. Ordered the deep fried calamari and we got a very odd tomatoes based sauce. Not a reorder.

First time, Last time
I was there with my wife and our friends there two days ago.unfortunately there's no ZERO in review and I had to ONE because:
The food was poor compared to other Greek restaurants and more importantly our waiteress was very rude، for example, she threw a basket of bread and sweets on the table.in the end it is never recommended.

Take out night at our house and as usual Casa Mia came through! Prime rib was perfect medium rare, hard to do with delivery. We ordered two mains and one appetizer and have lots leftover for breakfast. Highly recommend Casa Mia! So sorry I did not take a photo.

Such a great restaurant. A staple of Barrie for so long. This was our first dine in experience in a very long time. It was safe. It was distanced. It was welcoming. It was delicious. Thank you, Casa Mia ️

Had an amazing experience with Casa Mia this week. We've ordered here before but this time was above and beyond. We placed a take-out order but when we got home we realized part of it was missing (I did check there but missed a part). Where other places would refund the missing part, Casa Mia offered to instead drive the missing part to us! This is above and beyond what was required, but so thoughtful and appreciated. On top of that, even though we drove 20 minutes to get home, the food was still hot and absolutely delicious. A fabulous Greek option, and we will be going again and again!

So glad we decided to try Casa Mia! Walked in, the decor and dimly lit restaurant felt like a date night with my partner. Each dish tasted amazing, well balanced sauces, quality food with fair portions for the price. Our server was pleasant and efficient. Highly recommend!

The meal was absolutely fantastic, Lots of food. We also ordered one of favourite wines that we order when we go there. We picked our order up and the two ladies were very nice. The only thing I would do is check your order before you leave as we didn’t get the strawberry cheesecake. Otherwise no complaints.

The food is usually amazing but I guess some particular nights the menu suffers from the lack of passion in the kitchen. Bread portions are very small. Blonde hair waitress kind of rude as well.

Restaurant was almost empty and yet the service was quite slow. Waitress did not mention the specials.so I cant comment on the pickeral dinner that I would have ordered. Caesar salad was ok.but nothing special. Greek Salad was better. Veal Parm was just drowned in red sauce and cheese.but large portion. Kids meals were very generous. Salmon dinner was ok but veggies overdone and soggy.everything on the plate was warm but not hot.as if that plate waited for the other meals to get preprared. Overall.would not return. Far too many options in Barrie that provide better service.better food and for a more affordable price.

I was not impressed with this restaurant. I went with my girlfriend this Valentine's day, and immediately our server was not friendly and seemed very pushy. The appetizer was alright (tzatziki with hummus) but it was nothing special compared to other Greek restaurants we have been to, in fact the flavour was on the bland side for the whole meal. When ordering our main dishes, we asked to add mushrooms to one pasta dish. The dish came with mushrooms and we were charged $5.00 for a "side of mushrooms". It would have been nice to know we would be charged 5 dollars for 2 choped mushrooms in the pasta dish. Overall the service was terrible and the food mediocre. We will not be coming back.

Service was unremarkable. No smiles, but polite. Food was absolutely horrible. Drenched in cheap oils, overcooked, one bite was all I could stomach. I happen to be a chef and I am acutely aware of how the food should have tasted as opposed to how it was. If a chef prepared those dishes (which I very much doubt) then he or she should be ashamed. I would never go again.it was disgraceful.

Extremely over-priced, portions were very small. Went straight to a pharmacy after for gravol for the 6 of us that ate there. Never going back.

I do not know why this place got 4 stars! It is a 5 star resturant in the scale of Barrie. I am from Toronto and this place is much more better than many restaurants in GTA. There is a decent number of food variety to choose from. I’ve tried their steak and lamb rack both of which tasty, well-cooked, and fairy priced. The service is attentive and nice! I’ll come back soooon to try their veal parmesan this time ;)

Food was okay, not terrible but also not extremely flavourful. 3/5 for food. However our waitress was amazing; very informed on specials very friendly and helpful and made sure our experience was great from that aspect. Unfortunately didn't get her name but 10/10. She was amazing!

Everything was delivered on-time and hot from the kitchen. In addition to bruschetta with and without feta cheese, we ordered the Greek Village Chicken, a large portion of lasagna, and two orders of spaghetti with meatsauce. The large portion of lasagna was a huge portion of delight that was thoroughly baked and delectable, filled with sauce and cheese. I savored the veggies in the Greek Village Chicken, also a baked dish. They were crisp and done to perfection, served with a grilled, breaded chicken breast, all in marinara sauce topped with melted cheese. They spaghetti with meat sauce earned praise from two people who frequently make their own pasta sauce.

Had a party of 18 here. Wait time for our dinner was 2 hours. Ordered the Oscar Chicken. The Chicken breast was halved, other then the baked cheese ontop of the shrimp, crab and scallops not a ounce of bearnaise sauce could be seen (which was the only reason I ordered the dish, so my chicken would have a sauce and not be bland and dry.) Was extremely disappointed for the price. Only thing that made up for the experience was the waitress, who was wonderful and attentive to our party.

First time dining at Casa Mia. Staff was attentive and pleasant yet not over powering- perfect for us. Food was great. Caesar salad was one of the best I have had and the Linguine Pacifico had an excellent depth of flavour. Banana cake was fine. Not made in house so kind of expected. Will go again and will order take out for sure. Enjoy!

Attended this restaurant for the first time last night. Was so impressed at the speed of service. All of the food came out in a timely manner and orderly. Nobody was left waiting. Meal portions are great. I had the French Onion soup and Bruschetta bread. Everything was so fresh and the soup was very cheesy which I love. Would definitely consider going back.

Went out with our children and in-laws. Food was good. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Unfortunately our waitress (blond hair) seemed like she'd rather be somewhere else. Not friendly, like it was a chore to be doing her job. Don't think I saw a smile. There was an older woman who came around a few times to check on us (possibly the owner?) She was very nice. All in all would go back for the food, but the service left a sour taste in my mouth.

We invited friends to join us for lunch at Casa Mia. It was a very pleasant time and the food was well prepared and the service was quite pleasant. Highly recommended

Food was very good. Service was average. Very limited parking. And refills for pop is 1.50$. Never seen such a thing.

We have always had good meals here in the past. But not tonight. I write this as I sit on the toilet. I am ready for my colonoscopy, if you know what I mean. Our salads were great as always. I ordered the mushroom marsala with chicken.an obvious mistake. And my husband ordered the prime rib. It was tough and not even hot. He sent it back and just ate his veggies. They charged half price for the meal. $19 for a plate of vegetables. They could have comped our tea, or dessert, but did not. We are not impressed. Who is in the kitchen now anyway?

The service was amazing and their greek salad was really yummy. The entre I had was a bit bland (salmon fillet, potatoes, and veggies). They did a wonderful job catering to our large party of people.

Service was terrible we basically had to clean our own table we had to ask for more drinks water.it was a special birthday was very dissapointed food was just ok.had to wait quite awhile for it!

This is supposedly is an upscale restaurant. Food and service were excellent. Parking also great. Prices appear to be high. Now I say 'appear' because the bill was far lower than I expected due to an 'à la carte price' but once main course is ordered, the salad, etc.are discounted, I suppose sort of a combination price. I was though, quite shocked at the scappy condition of the table (long overdue for a finishing). It simply didn't fit in with the rest of the decor. In fact so bad, it may be the determining factor of my return visit or not.

OMG.love this place, only found it a year ago and been back a half dozen times now. Love the chicken dishes and the side spaghetti with main courses. Highly recommend for a great family night out.

One of my best choices for the go to place for Italian food. I am a Vegiterian and they offer great taste even within limited options. They don't let you wait for too long, and serves you with pleasure.

Went New Year's Eve with friends and family, everyone had an awesome meal. Prime Rib with Yorkshire pudding was to die for, chicken parm was huge and excellent, as was the seafood linguine. Always enjoy and look forward to the meals here.

Good food. Good service. Good pricing.
This is a nice restaurant for a quality meal. Sit down relax and enjoy. Dress nice for this one.
